2ww- Anyone like to join?

Hi,

Currently 4 days post ovulation. Would anyone like to join me in the two week wait?
Cycle 5
Cycle day 15
Ovulated day 11
27 day cycle.
Bfp due 23rd August
Hoping this thread bring us lots of bfp's!!

I'm 37 and TTC our first.
At first I couldn't believe we were actually doing this. Actually doing the deed for a baby. It puts a whole new angle on "it". I'm quietly very excited about this adventure. Quietly because it's not something you shout about is it? Have you divulged to others you are TTC? I did and then wished I hadn't. My close friends know, but I wish my in laws didn't know. DP told them! And there's one friend who blurted it out whilst drunk to someone else! I really wish that hadn't happened.

Congrats Cookiesandcake how many cycles was you trying for.

The in laws are being very discrete.
My drunk friend doesn't live close and the other friend who she told has not said a word either.
Total number of people who know are 6, 5 of whom have been respectful and well you know about the 6th one! Silly Mare!

How are you all doing?
I'm 29 and trying for number 2.
My close friends and family know I would like a baby soon but don't know the full extent of how much we are trying. Think it's best that way saves all the questioning lol!
@littlered how did u feel about your friend doing that, don't think I would have been too happy.

@Poppy012 there's nothing I can do about it so I've had let it go.

TTC is a v private affair isn't it?
It's interesting how many will encourage you to TTC and the couple don't tell people they are TTC.
I can imagine couples screaming in their heads "WE ARE TTC!" but smiling politely.

Im thinking of people telling women to get on with it because of the clock ticking. Very unhelpful I've found. I suppose at least they are wishing something good for you.

We had to tell in-laws as I am feeling awful :( was sick in a cafe on Monday, had spotting 5 DPO, nausea feeling all the time, boobs hurt and generally exhausted! Were staying with them in Turkey at the mo. Just had to face to do a wee. Couldn't hold it in any longer!!

@poppy012 I'm going to try and hold out until Monday or Tuesday. I keep having a nagging feeling it won't happen. We elected to adopt 5 years ago and it was a disaster so we moved and went for a more simple life. Not been trying long but I can be a total pessimistic!!

I really felt like that, thought this month it wasn't going to happen where as all the other months I have been convinced I was so stay positive! Will keep my fingers crossed for you! X

Cd19 for me, cycle usually 25 days

Don't really feel any different apart from lots of weeing but then I'm drinking lots of water at the moment to stop me snacking.....

Going to dig out my clear blue monitor I think. Have a feeling I missed ovulation this month- I'm not using any opk or charting but I usually know by how I feel and ahem, how 'attractive' i feel

Good luck to all. Have some cheap pregnancy tests and it is such a test of willpower to not poas.....
