Hi,

Currently 4 days post ovulation. Would anyone like to join me in the two week wait?

Cycle day 15
Ovulated day 11
27 day cycle.
Bfp due 23rd August
Hoping this thread bring us lots of bfp's!!

I'm talking absolute rubbish - I got a smiley OPK on the 6th Aug, not the 15th! God knows where I got that date from, I seem to be living in the future.

Anyway, now on CD23 and still have a headache and light cramping on and off. Not sure if I always get this pre-AF and just never noticed it before.

@Poppy012 - my last luetal phase was 6 days :( :( hoping it was a one off! I'm up to 8 days this month so FX for us both.

I am not long off pill and have a very short luteal phase (opposite of you Poppy!) which was 3 days first cycle then 7 days last cycle. Been on a concoction of supplements and hoping to make the magic 10 days this month. FX for you fireside!

So it's hard to say when my BFP is due but let's say 27 august!

Have done everything we can this month with lots of well timed shagging with fertility gel and legs up in the air etc, and my chart rather than being really erratic as it has been has a great temp spike so you never know!

Also on Friday I'm off for a private fertility check which I booked 3 months ago and there was a long waiting list, but nervous but if there is a problem I prefer not to wait a year before finding out!

I wonder why mine is so long? Odd I have been off the pill since December last year and cycles have been very regular since April. Wow @mctufty hope that goes well for you I would love to have one but cannot afford it at the moment. Currently waiting for partners semen analysis to come back expecting a call off the doctor this afternoon so nurvous! Are you chatting on fertility friend? Mine keeps coming up as unreliable times so a bit annoying. X

poppy I'm not sure why it's so long but I don't think it's abnormal, just makes the wait more frustrating! Too long is less of a problem, short matters because there isn't long enough for the egg to implant before the lining sheds even if the egg is fertilised.

I do chart on FF, it always says unreliable but whenever I take my temperature twice a couple of hours apart (e.g. with night waking) it's rarely any different.

Yeah that's what it is i usually do it at 6.30 when I wake up but weekends I sleep later so must be that. It's my first month using fertility friend and I think it's great. This is my chart not sure how accurate it is tho as it's my first month using it.

That's a great looking chart poppy! Textbook! Those dips above the coverline are totally normal. I recommend a book called taking charge of your fertility for charting.

I've tried to attach mine. No crosshairs yet, hopefully assuming my temps stay high I'll get it tomorrow as I think it waits for 3 days high temps.

Yes mine didn't put the lines in until temps had been up for three days so you should get yours tomorrow! Thanks for your help keep us updated how you are getting on.
Semen analysis results have come back and the doctor said he has a slightly low sperm concentration, but the rest is all fine so not sure really what that means he has to go back for another sample in a few weeks

poppy I'm sure it's nothing to worry about and they'll suggest dietary changes and supplements to aid sperm quality.

You could also try a fertility gel, like a lube which makes it easier for the sperm to swim up to the egg, lots of great results from people using it!

This all assumes you don't get your BFP this month though

So I gave in and did a clear blue digital this morning (3 days before period is due) and it came back negative. Proper gutted

I'm going crazy over here. Symptom spotting when I've probably not even ovulated. Thinking back to my last period, which was early and incredibly light and short, and wondering whether it was actually implantation bleeding.

Wondering whether to test to rule it out, but I know I'll be devastated, and definitely don't want to test until my husband's back home on Thursday because if (as it inevitably will be) it's a BFN I'll be a wobbly mess.

Do I test before we go on holiday (on 21st Aug) or leave it until we get back? My period isn't due until 29th Aug so I know it's far too early, unless my last period was implantation bleeding, when we weren't even actually properly ttc last cycle.

I'm not safe to be left in the house alone!

Maybe @karategirl but I doubt it.

I am the same as you though, keep symptom checking constantly. Don't know if they are all in my head.

Why does this 2 weeks fill us all with so much madness?

I know you should wait to test but i would be a hypocrite if I told you too. I have tested loads !! Xxx

Hi everyone! I'm about 7dpo and I was doing well with the 2ww but now I'm getting impatient. We have been ttc while I was still breastfeeding and no period had returned (9m pp) but now I have cut down to one feed in the morning, and last week after spotting a load of EWCM I did an OPK and lo and behold it was a blazing positive so we dtd. Potentially too late to catch that first egg but I'm crossing everything for a BFP and if not AF will be welcome as it confirms I ovulated and we can get back on track with a proper cycle! :) x

@karategirl what was the bleed like I've read impnatation bleeding is pink or brown with no clotting. What symptoms have you had so far?

I'm CD24 and have some really light spotting and cramping. Am 99% sure AF is going to get me 😩

I feel like I'm getting loads of symptoms (heavy boobs, back ache, stomach ache, strong sense on smell and dizziness) but I don't know if it's just in my head. I know that happens sometimes. X

Hey FPAN. It's almost impossible not to symptom spot, isn't it? I've had an almost constant headache since CD16 which isn't normal for me. But I've also had a really sensitive sense of smell which usually indicates I'm about to get a migraine so who knows!

Is your AF due on the 17th? Ovia tells me mine's due the 18th but my cycles have been anything from 25-29 days since coming off Cerazette in January. Everything crossed for you!

FPAN I'm exactly the same! I'm also panicking that I'm infertile, or OH's sperm is no good, etc. Dramatic at this stage, I know . Yep, we are trying for our first. You too?

I'm 7 days po today had some cramps but that's all really still got a weeks wait and it's dragging!!

@FiresideTreats actually I am trying for my second (my son was 3 on Sunday). I got pregnant right away with him so worried it will take ages this time to make up for it. I have everything crossed for you! I have been terrible this month. Have tested loads even though I know it won't be positive yet even if I am pregnant.

Hello everyone again. My Internet has been playing up so I've only just seen all the new messages.
How is everyone today? I was symptom spotting all weekend but stopped the last couple of days. I felt quite relaxed and very unpregnant but have just had to kneel over the toilet wretching. I hope this is a good sign and not from the Chinese buffet I had at lunch

Has anyone had any positive signs? I'm thinking my symptoms must be in my head. Hubby only had his vasectomy reversal at the start of the month although he was back to business just before ovulation. It seems very unlikely though.
Still wishing everyone the best of luck
