@cottonpyjamas we live in France so my DH returned to the UK and had surgery in Nottingham. Our surgeon said it went straight forward but it's been 13 years since he had the vasectomy so we have about 84% chance of success. He isn't going to get back for the 3 month check so we are just going to wait and see and then hopefully we should be going back to England in February so might do it then?

Thanks Poppy

Hi GreggsSausageRolls. Similar situation here, on cd17 and first cycle of really properly trying. Not due on until next Sunday and think I will hold out on testing unless AF is late as no point disappointing myself with a test early on. Are you trying for 1st baby?

Littleredwagon2308 · 16/08/2017 20:23

Hi,

I'm jumping in too!

Cycle 1
CD 21
Approx Ovulation day 9
28 day cycle
AF due 23 August

Planning to only test if AF is late. At the mo I don't think I'll be tempted to test any earlier because I don't have any tests.

Congratulations to the successful ones and good luck to the rest of us.

Pumpkin18 · 16/08/2017 20:37

Good luck Littleredwagon!

McTufty · 16/08/2017 20:52

poppy yep got my crosshairs! Happy with that. Looks like a proper biphasic chart so I'm really happy. Shitting it AF will come any minute though!

sophia I feel your pain! I'm recently off pill and have been all over the place!

Welcome greggs and littleredwagon! First time TTCers?

We would both say this month was our first proper go at TTC. Would of liked to do a bit more bd this month but circumstances prevented us.

Pumpkin18 · 16/08/2017 21:01

My boobs have just started to feel really sore, 5 days past ovulation and 10 days until AF arrives - sure it's just hormones but it's a bit early for me!

Pumpkin18 · 16/08/2017 21:03

I know that feeling Littleredwagon - my husband works so much but this month he woke me up if he came home late and we just made as much time as we could to dtd. This is our first proper month too!

karategirl · 16/08/2017 21:54

@Poppy012 honestly, I don't remember what the bleed was like, except that it was unusually light and early. I wasn't looking out for it at the time, but I guess it was probably a normal period, otherwise I'm sure I would have noticed!

In terms of 'symptoms', I've been waking up with nausea and heartburn, I have to keep reminding myself that that's not out of the ordinary for me. Also very tired, slightly sore boobs, but I'm sure I'm looking for stuff. The only thing that's unusual is extreme constipation, when I'm normally really regular, but I'm sure there's a perfectly sensible explanation for that!

At least my husband's home tomorrow and can bring me back down to earth! I had grand plans for a massive shaggathon the moment I walked in the door, but now my brother's coming to stay so it looks like that's off the cards...

How's everyone else doing today? Hope there's been some good news for someone!

karategirl · 16/08/2017 22:00

Oh my goodness, congratulations @FPAN! Keep us updated!

FPAN · 17/08/2017 08:06

9days post ovulation for me not much to report just slightly tender breasts, cramps have eased off now. Still 8 days to wait for af/BFP it's dragging so bad!

So AF is due tomorrow and I always getting spotting 2-3 days before and so far nothing. I've work up this morning to really dry lips having to use lip balm and I never get sore lips and a little constipated and feeling a little wet down there ( sorry tmi) I actually thought AF had started but hasn't oh and a mega bad back. I'm really hoping these are all good signs xx

Poppy012 · 17/08/2017 10:19

Hi @sazwest oh that all sounds very promising, have you not done any tests? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼

Sazwest · 17/08/2017 11:22

No not yet gonna wait till tomorrow till day af is due and do one x x

HarryPotterandtheSAHM · 17/08/2017 11:24

Poppy I'm 9/10dpo and also have sore breasts. Still bf DS1 once in the morning but sore nipples and sore breasts at the side is unusual for me. My cramps have also eased off.

I have had absolutely no cm since O when i had loads of ewcm, a little concerned as with DS1 I'm sure I had loads of creamy cm post ov.

Sazwest that does sound promising!

I caved and did a test today which was obviously bfn as its so early but I wish I hadn't now I feel miserable and also disappointed in myself! How is everyone else holding up?

Poppy012 · 17/08/2017 11:34

@sazwest wow you are good, I wish I had your will power lol!
@harrypotter ah as you have said it is still early so don't be too dissapointed yet. Silly me had an 1 ovulation test left an stupidly used it 😂 Of course there wasn't a strong line just had to use it, I've ordered some cheap pregnancy tests off line so will probs use them when they get delivered on Sat at 11days Po.
I have have mad much more cm than usual but I think this is due to the fact that I stopped taking my daily antihistamines this month as I read that they dry up your cm and must be true as have noticed a massive difference .
What test did you use today? :)

Sazwest · 17/08/2017 11:37

@Poppy012 every other month I start at like 7-8 dpo but this month I'm been strong and waiting till day af is actually due x x

MissMars · 17/08/2017 11:52

Hello I am just new and this is my first attempt.

I think I ovulated on Monday.

Also this may be a stupid question but can you aerobic exercise and go to body pump during your 2ww or should you take it easy?

Poppy012 · 17/08/2017 12:04

Best thing to do I think @sazwest, be sure to let us know how you get on tomorrow! If it's not my month this time I think I am going to stop charting and using opk's and try be a little more relaxed about it (Who am I kidding) 😂
Welcome @missmars I would say just carry on as normal you can't put your life on hold, also exercise is good so I would keep up with it! Good luck to you!

Littleredwagon2308 · 17/08/2017 12:06

@Poppy012 I've had symptoms, but I know they can be caused by something else so I'm being realistic.
I had a very painful hip (more front of) which came on in the afternoon and then had all but gone by the next morning. Could be I pulled something when carrying something.
I've had diarrhoea, but that could be my IBS or something I ate.
A little bit of cramping.
AF due 23

Littleredwagon2308 · 17/08/2017 12:12

@MissMars no question is a stupid question.
I was wondering something similar myself. I've not done regular higher impact sport for a couple of years now (moving, prolapsed disc), but wanting to get back to the gym.

Good luck @Sazwest and well done for holding out.

Sazwest · 17/08/2017 12:29

@Poppy012 I've been doing the relaxed approach this month and last month doing no opks but going by my own body signs x x
