Karpuz the clear blue should work okay on the day of your period. They aren't great for early testing though. Really hope that glimmer of a line was there.

Ovaries I remember one random cycle when TTC last time and af turned up 2 weeks late, then the next month went back to normal, negative tests and everything. Sometimes our bodies are just exceptionally cruel. I hope you get a bfp but if not then I hope at least af turns up soon because I know limbo is a horrible place to be.

Foniks · 07/08/2017 13:41

Hi all, I haven't been on mn in a little while, so just checking in again.
Hope you're all well. Any new bfp? Will be going back over this thread, and the July one (if I can find it) anyway to catch up on everything.

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 07/08/2017 14:10

Yep Karpuz 3/4 days late now (I'm losing count :( ). I've skipped a period before but I was super stressed at the time. I haven't been particularly stressed this month, it's so weird.

Thanks Mynameis, I want to enjoy all this TTC business but it's so impatient and difficult! I want it to be as easy as last time where it just happened unexpectedly Grin

I've got BHCG bloods tomorrow to try and figure out what's going on. I'm fairly sure they'll be negative too, but at least it'll rule any pregnancy out.

Nubian9454 · 07/08/2017 14:57

Karpuzkiz sorry about Bfn. A faint line is very very hopeful. We are here to support each other so don't feel that you are posting nonsense.

I tend to skip a period when I am very stressed out. But everyone's body reacts difervently.

Karpuzkiz · 07/08/2017 16:57

So the witch arrived today middle of the day at work. Sad I am sad but I'm more angry about my body. I have never been so bloated and that in my life I've been eating no differently and have still been exercising so why the hell have I been feeling like crap for the last two weeks. It's not like me at all.

The couple of friends that know we are TTCing have also sent me comments like there are people worse than me, which I know is true, but it still really hurts when it arrives. I feel I should be allowed to be upset, no?! Think I'm just upset as this would have been the perfect month to fall.

Anyway, hopefully a good sleep tonight might make me feel better.

I'm routing for you all to have the BFP's, I'm not not due until September so won't make posting in this thread - boo hoo!

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 07/08/2017 17:11

Aww Karpuz sorry the witch has arrived :( I can't believe your friends have sent you those messages; of course you have every right to be upset! It's so disappointing when it arrives.

Once AF finally turns up I'll be due a BFP in September too. Is there a TTC #2 September BFPs thread yet?

Nubian9454 · 07/08/2017 18:05

Sorry about af arriving Karpuzkiz. You have every right to feel upset. I have gone through it every month since ttc. I have even cried. It can make me feel very low. But as soon as ovulation come around we become hopeful again at the prospect of conceiving...and so the roller coast ride continue. Hot bath, big chocolate and an even bigger glass of wine...sending you positive vibes and lots of baby dust for next Cycle xx

MynameisJune · 07/08/2017 18:13

Karpuz I'm so sorry af arrived today. You have every right to be upset, just because there are people worse off than us doesn't mean we have to constantly be happy. I often cry at af's arrival as well.

Nubian9454 · 07/08/2017 18:17

We are brave, we are fearless, we are warriors...we endure so much as women and our strength will get us there! Don't give up ladies

Karpuzkiz · 07/08/2017 18:18

You ladies are just the best wish I could hug you all. I'll be sticking around here with you all. Think the worst is you just want to get going with it all again but you can't got another bloody wait haha! I'm going to try with the clear blue sticks this month, anyone else use them? xxx

CaffeineBomb · 07/08/2017 18:47

Karpuz I'm so sorry that really sucks, really hoping for a bfp this cycle for you

ScarletSienna · 07/08/2017 19:32

Sorry Karpuz - it's annoyingly now having to wait when you just want to get on with it!

SquashyMummy · 07/08/2017 19:36

Sorry to hear that Karpuz I've tried the clue blue sticks for the first time this month. Don't think they've helped me conceive this month, but they showed I ovulated earlier than ovia was predicting this month so I think ovulation sticks in general are worth the investment. Think I'll switch to cheaper sticks in a couple of months once I've got the hang of them.

I feel for you ovaries I've been having really long periods and the late period but BFN stage is horrid. A real relief when AF comes.

Who else is in TWW and when is AF due. I'm 8/9DPO and hoping to hold out till the weekend before testing. Ovia predicts my period mid next week, but I think this weekend is more likely. Starting to symptom spot and get twitchy already!

MynameisJune · 07/08/2017 20:00

I'm 12dpo today, first time in months I've got to this point in my cycle. AF due sometime this week, I'm not testing until Friday if I get to that point without af arriving.

If nothing else this cycle I'm pleased that things seem to be getting more normal (hopefully)

Nubian9454 · 07/08/2017 20:23

I use Internet cheapies. Get the combo pack with 30 opk sticks and 10 pregnancy test for £5 from amazon. Well I have an addiction to peeing on a stick so this helps me. Its worth investing in opk stick Karpuzkiz. All the best to the ladies in the tww. I will be starting that next week if I ovulate this week as predicted

KashyKash · 07/08/2017 20:58

Sorry af arrived Karpuz. You have every right to be upset, don't listen to those people saying otherwise. I always feel devastated when it arrives and allow myself a day or two of being miserable.
I'm currently 10dpo, af due on Thursday. So far feeling exactly the same as every other month so not feeling too hopeful!

cautiousoptimist1 · 07/08/2017 21:21

Sorry to hear AF arrived Karpuz, I also can't believe your friends would say that to you. Hopefully they mean it in a keeping positive way but if not I think I'd be sharing less with them.

I think I'm 9 dpo with AF due on Saturday. I've had the tiniest amount of spotting the last 3 days (and I mean tiny!) which I never have so hoping this could be implantation but equally trying not to get my hopes up.

SquashyMummy · 07/08/2017 21:24

equally trying not to get my hopes up

Love that you're living to up to your name cautiousoptimist!

cautiousoptimist1 · 07/08/2017 22:05

Hehe well I'm also waiting for the ridiculously heightened sense of smell!

MynameisJune · 09/08/2017 06:39

Af is still MIA but a Bfn this morning at 14dpo so guess it's just a waiting game now for af to arrive.

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 09/08/2017 06:57

Keep losing my message, but I wanted to say that is horrible of your friends to say that to you karpuzkiz - we haven't told many people irl that we are ttc because I don't think I could bear the added pressure of people knowing and commenting. I hope you are feeling better about things today.

Keeping fingers crossed and baby dust to june and cautiousoptimist

Getting back on the horse here - have got some cheapie ov sticks, but can't seem to get a reading off them. Is there some trick I'm missing? Have been given some leftover Clearblue sticks by a friend, so now waiting for a machine to be delivered so I can use that instead!

Karpuzkiz · 09/08/2017 07:12

Going to order my cheapy ones today and get the clear blue too this month. I found on the cheapies when I tested in the evenings I caught it but in the morning wasn't much! Perhaps test couple times a day around the time you think you are!

According to Ovia my fertile window is when I'm away this month - boo hoo! I go away Friday and come back Monday so I'd get Monday in but not over the weekend! F-ing brilliant! Now I've got to hope that I ovulate late this month so I've got a chance of catching!!

Good luck everyone xx

ScarletSienna · 09/08/2017 08:49

Tiramisu - with the cheap ovulation sticks, each month I'd have nothing, then a faint line which got darker in the fertile window then suddenly (not the same day each month-for me it could be a week or so different!), a really dark positive line. I had to do one a day the who cycle then I was doing two a day around the time I'd expect to be ovulating.

KashyKash · 09/08/2017 09:03

Sorry for the bfn June, fingers crossed it's just a bit early for you.
I'm 12dpo today, none of my usual spotting yet which gives me some hope. Af due tomorrow or Friday. I'm not going to test until I'm a few days late, would rather af than a bfn.
Good luck everyone x

SquashyMummy · 09/08/2017 09:38

I'm 11DPO today and feel a bit nauseous/funny taste in mouth, could be just wishful thinking! Is it too early to have any symptoms? I didn't get any till 6/7 weeks with my DS.
