Sorry to hear that Mother Don't they say it can take a healthy couple up to a year to conceive? It's hard to accept when it happened easily the first time (same for us) but it's unlikely anything is physically wrong.
Are there other things you can focus on in the months ahead? I'm trying to but am struggling because my plan for this year was basically to have a baby!
Big hugs Flowers
P.s. It's not over quite yet for this month Wink

MynameisJune · 06/08/2017 07:13

Sorry for the BFN mother but it could still be too early yet. It's not over until the witch arrives. Things to improve sperm can be taking a supplement like wellman vitamins and wearing loose boxer shorts. Eating right and cutting out alcohol as well but you're doing that.

Karpuzkiz · 06/08/2017 07:42

So another BFN which was hard this morning I don't know why my body is playing such cruel tricks.

I also wiped this morning and got a browny yellow discharge. I never spot or anything before a period so I've no idea what that is.

MotherofBoy · 06/08/2017 07:52

Thanks all. squashy we are in process of moving house and I am due to qualify in my profession this week but still focused on the baby stuff! Just don't understand why it takes so long or so quickly when there don't seem many variables!

MynameisJune · 06/08/2017 08:15

Sorry for the BFN Karpuz, our bodies can be so cruel 😔 No advice just a hug from me.

I'm 11dpo but daren't test. I've just decided to wait until af turns up as I'm sure she will. My cycles have been around 22 days the last couple so I'm expecting it any time. At the minute I'd just be happy to have a longer cycle so the egg has a chance of implanting.

Nubian9454 · 06/08/2017 09:09

Sorry for the Bfn Mother. I think we all know too well how seeing that bfn feels. You still have a couple of days left so I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Karpuzkiz could that be a positive sign? To be honest I have given up on looking at symptoms because mu body has tricked me sooo many times. I'm still hoping for your Bfps to arrive this month ladies.

June you ate strong. I always succumb to testing multiple times from dpo 9! So admire your will power.

Sending lots of baby dust to you all xx

CaffeineBomb · 06/08/2017 09:47

Karpuz could it be an implantation bleed? With DC1 I had light brown bleeding for two full days with thos pregnancy I had literally one spot of blood 5 days before af another 2 days before and another on the day i was due. It's not over until AF arrives

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 06/08/2017 11:59

My period is 2 days late, still no sign of AF, still no sign of a BFP :( so frustrating!

Sorry Karpuz maybe it's implantation bleeding though? Test again in a couple of days, fingers crossed for you!

Nubian9454 · 06/08/2017 12:15

Hope your late Af is a good sign Ovaries

Impatientmummy36 · 06/08/2017 13:53

As I'm sat here googling early scans and booking in appointments, I wondered if anyone else who has their bfp on here has booked either yet?

Started a new thread (link below) in case anyone else might like to carry on chat occasionally- Bit like an online antenatal group!

I really hope to see you lovely ladies I've been chatting to this last couple of threads over there very soon too. Lots of love and luck ... x

Baby #2 due around April 2018?!

I can't keep up with the other threads would love to carry this group on to antenatal if I ever get there haha!

MynameisJune · 06/08/2017 17:02

My 2015 antenatal group has been amazing, would love to join another one if I ever manage to get a bfp again.

Nubian, I strangely find af arriving a lot less upsetting than seeing negative tests. I quite like the Schrödinger's cat feel to it 😂

MotherofBoy · 06/08/2017 17:27

Mine too june, we still all chat daily two years later! The female bond is a strong one :)

MynameisJune · 06/08/2017 18:32

Same here, we've had regular meet ups of locals and a huge meet up this year. They've saved my sanity and made me a better parent.

Karpuzkiz · 06/08/2017 19:29

impatient what's the deal when you find out your pregnant these days I can't remember! Do we just call up the doctors and wait for an appointment to be booked in with midwife?!

Here's hoping for a positive week for us all! Sunday squishes xx

Nubian9454 · 06/08/2017 19:48

Will join new thread if ever get my bfp Impatient

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 06/08/2017 20:02

My 2015 antenatal group has been equally amazing - didn't join until after DS was born (he was premature and I was slowly losing my mind as I didn't know anyone who had just had a baby). Genuinely saved my mind and helped with so much stuff beyond parenting.

Hoping to join that thread very soon impatient if I get my bfp on the next cycle, my due date will be May 5 (how sad am I that I counted!), so maybe I can sneak onto an April thread.

karpuzkiz here you ring the midwife directly to book the booking in appointment. Much preferred arranging those to my GP ones, as they weren't prebookable - very stressful!

Much positivity to you all for a new week! Have stocked up on vitamins and will be trying out my cheapie opk sticks once AF finishes (hopefully tomorrow)

Nubian9454 · 06/08/2017 20:40

Tiramisu my Af finished yesterday . Think we will be braving the tww together. Let's hope we get out bfp this august. Af due again 29th or 30th. But for now lots of bd this week as Wednesday is indicated as start of FW. All the best and lots of baby dust xx

tiramisualwaystiramisu · 06/08/2017 20:58

Think we will nubian - af is also due 30th! Although it has been turning up a day early recently, which is just mean. All the baby dust to you Grin

Impatientmummy36 · 07/08/2017 07:27

I really do have everything crossed for you all, you all deserve your bfps hopefully very soon xxx

Hi tiramisu, please do! I only put due around April as a marker, it doesn't matter when you get your bfp/due date, you should still come over to chat :)

Karpuzkiz, I'm going to ring this morn. Sure I booked in for around 8 weeks point last time ? X

OP posts:
MynameisJune · 07/08/2017 09:34

Impatient, our midwives see you between 8-10 weeks here. I know it's less appointments once you're on subsequent pregnancies but I think the 1st one stays the same.

Karpuzkiz · 07/08/2017 10:48

BFN again this morning although there was a glimmer of a line but I'm talking hardly there at all, potentially eyes making it up! AF is due tomorrow - I'm never late often early but not late so what are the chances this will be the time I'm late! I'm tempted just go and buy the cheapest tests and see if they show anything because this is just driving me nuts! But then I'm like it won't be FMU so just ride today out and test again tomorrow morning Sad I have one cheapy internet test at home and a CB digital don't know whether to use the digital tomorrow or to save it?!

All this moaning over nothing really I'm sorry for posting nonsense Sad

OvariesBeforeBrovaries · 07/08/2017 10:55

Still no AF, still no BFP. I had period-type pains and a tiny bit of spotting the day before yesterday, and now nothing. I wonder if I'm skipping my period this month?

Karpuzkiz · 07/08/2017 11:18

Youre AF is late now isn't it ovaries if I remember rightly?! Bloody load of bonkers stuff this! Have you tried a different brand of test? Is it possible to skip a period?! How does that work?!
