Missed period/negative results

Hello ladies :)

I am new to this so bare with me. This morning I have woken up expecting my period to show up and it hasn't shown (I have had no period symptoms either)

I have been feeling very ill with fever like symptoms (my body was boiling when I got up, then I would be cold and my throats felt very strange)

I was wondering if your period is late by 1 day and my pregnancy test says negative does that mean I am not pregnant or will a positive show up in a few days?

(I have been off cerezette for a few months and had my breakthrough bleed and also had my first proper period, so I don't know we're I am I'm all confused

Hey @toxitears181 I'm in a similar boat, I'm 2 days late and getting bfn's. I've read a lot about people not getting bfp's until a lot later so I'm not giving up hope.

When do you think you'll test again? I'm think it's pointless doing every day but equally I'm ver impatient.

I'm in a very similar boat. I came off the pill at the beginning of May, had a period and was due another last Tuesday. I did a pregnancy test on Thursday and it came up negative. I've still not come on. I'm trying to wait until Wednesday morning to test but may cave and do it tomorrow which will make it a week since my missed period.

I'm 23 days late and bfn. My gp says most women will have at least 1 anovulatry cycle a year which can throw everything out of whack! I hope you know either way soon, the waiting is awful!

@Vicsteur81 I think that I will do another test tomorrow if still negative then I will do one Friday if still negative and no period I will wait 2 weeks and then test again I'm so impatient 🙈

Tell me about it @toxitears181 I just talked myself out of doing one. I just don't feel like AF is coming but maybe I'm just trying to convince myself. Thank goodness I'm busy this week! Fingers and toes are crossed for you.

Im in the same boat. I'm 5 days late. Usually regular cycle. i did test 1 day late, 3 days late and today and they are all negative. i have a doctors app in 2 days (when it will be 7days). could it still be too early or my hcg levels too low? also has anyone ever had a lot of negatives and then eventually a positive? I'm a newby too

Just took a test this morning and still negative!! I am so confused will test again Friday and fingers crossed I get some answers 😊😊

@beckypirie94 it's sooo frustrating honestly I do not know what is going on it sucks :( (I came off cerezette the mini pill a couple of months ago and had my breakthrough bleed and also had a normal period but since then nothing!) I would say wait two weeks before you test again as I read on baby centre if you conceived late this month it won't show until later on in your cycle (fingers crossed for you 👶🏻👶🏻) 😊👍🏻

At least we are in it together ladies. Hope we all get BFP's soon. I think I'll test again tomorrow if no AF. I've got back ache but not the same as I'd expect if AF was on its way. All very odd.

@toxitears181 I've been really thirsty which is unusual for me and my skin and hair are quite greasy. But I guess those could be anything.

@Vicsteur81 fair enough Hun, I have a migraine today every time I move it hurts :( I'm hoping it's a possible symptom x

Tested again this morning, nothing. I'm so baffled I've never missed a period.

I've finally got an answer, 3 weeks later!!

I've got an ovarian cyst which is totally harmless and been given progesterone to kick start my cycle.

You you all know either way very soon!

Hey @Icklepickle101 glad you've got an answer. Did you get given any idea how long it'll take to sort your cycle out? Hope it happens quickly for you, waiting can be so frustrating.

I've got a cycst so maybe that's something to do with it. Know about it for a while though and never missed a period.

My period should start within the next 2 weeks, which seems ages but at least I know it is coming and I've been told once it's started I can start clomid this month so not all bad.

I've had cysts before that haven't caused any issues but this one has grown so might be why I've had problems this time.

Hi ladies ! Anyone had any luck ? Hope you don't mind me joining my AF comes exactly every 28 days and now I'm 6 days late and still BFN. Got a drs app on Friday.

I had my doctors appointment today. She said bfn's can happen even if it should be positive. So I'm 7 days late today and she's told me to wait until monday (when i will be 12 days late) to retest and if still negative I've got to go back for blood test. Im hoping to be able to request a scan to put my mind at rest but I'm not sure they'll allow it. Anyone know how early they'll be able to scan and find a heartbeat or even see if somethings there?

AF got me girls 😢 hopefully I will get my BFP next month xxx wish me luck xxx

Which test are you using. I am still getting a negative on cb digital but faint positive on fr. fr are more sensitive so try that.

@weerabixmom I'm used frer with fmu today and was bfn. I've not even had a hit of a line so far. Well apart from a Superdrug test just before AF was due but I think that one was dodgy.

Almost wish AF would turn up just so I know where I stand. Driving myself a bit mad now.
