Missed period/negative results

Hello ladies :)

I am new to this so bare with me. This morning I have woken up expecting my period to show up and it hasn't shown (I have had no period symptoms either)

I have been feeling very ill with fever like symptoms (my body was boiling when I got up, then I would be cold and my throats felt very strange)

I was wondering if your period is late by 1 day and my pregnancy test says negative does that mean I am not pregnant or will a positive show up in a few days?

(I have been off cerezette for a few months and had my breakthrough bleed and also had my first proper period, so I don't know we're I am I'm all confused

My period was 2 weeks late before I got a positive test, I'd been using internet cheepies which are obviously rubbish!
So if any of you are still late I'd say test again in a few days with a shop bought test! x

@vicsteur81 I'm always regular. Sometimes 1 day early or 1 day late but never 8. Never missed a period except when i was pregnant with my son. So confused Ive been having period pain type cramps for days but i remember the same thing happening the 1st time round. Other symptoms I'm having are sore boobs, can't stop peeing lol and I don't know about eating for 2 i think I'm eating for about 6 people I'm constantly hungry which really isn't like me. Ive also had some nausea but haven't actually vomited yet. Hopefully when i test monday it will be a bfp. I've tried a couple of different tests. A clear blue one and some cheap ones but none of them even have the faintest of lines

@Vicsteur81 I'm hoping so but I've heard a few people saying they basically ask you to just wait longer. I had phone family planning clinic to ask for a blood test they laughed and told me to go and buy a pound shop test ! I'll let you's know how I get on tomorrow :)

Hi can I join here please. I am now 2 days late and had a negative test too. Iv been nauseous cramping and back pain for the last week and a half. In the last few days my boobs have been agony and pulling sensation at both sides of abdomen. Trying for baby number 3. No idea what's going on

@beckypirie94 I had a scan at 5 weeks with ds2 and there was a heartbeat. Can't hear it but it flutters

@MummyGofboys Did you request a scan that early?

If I'm getting BFN's and when i have my blood test if thats negative too i don't think they'll just give me a scan to put my mind at rest. I've read of people getting BFN's and negative blood tests and still being pregnant and only finding out when they've had a scan thats why i want one just to be sure.

Looks like my wait it over ladies, AF turned up today. Wish I knew why so late? Hey ho, next time.

@beckypirie94 no I was bleeding heavily so they sent me for one. Not sure private scans do them that early?

Sorry to hear that @Vicsteur81 Fingers crossed for you for next month.

@MummyGofboys I've googled and have found a couple places that do early scans from 6/7 weeks but costs about £90

Update: i think AF has arrived .
The reason i say 'i think' is because its not like normal. TMI but its a lot runnier and not as heavy as usual. Also period pains/cramps are a lot worse.
Im totally confused and i don't really know whats going on. Think my bodies just playing tricks on me

AF here too and with a vengeance at that, very painful!

3 days late today. Still cramping, still nauseous, still have sore boobs grrrr. Testing again on Sunday morning as had a negative yesterday. @Icklepickle101 sorry you got Af. Fingers crossed for this cycle xx

Finally got my BFP on my third day of being late. I used a FRER and up it came 😊😊

It's been awful and I had my first ever internal examination today, apparently it's the ideal time to do it but I was so mortified! It will all be worth it when I get my BFP!
