Hi,

This is all very new to me so would like to make some TTC buddies :)

Let me tell you a little about myself:
Been with my SO for 2 years now and we're getting married in 31 days! I'm 26 (nearly 27) and my hubby2b is 35. We bought a house last year and feel like now is a good time to start a family!

This is my first cycle and I'm really excited but trying not to get my hopes up as seen that it's harder than it looks.

Any advice would be appreciated :) xxx

Well my nausea/cramping turned out to be the worst food poisoning I can remember having, and I've had a bit of a night of it! Much better this morning, the AF style cramps have gone too (maybe it was all part of the same thing, who knows?)

mummyg and flamingo have you tested yet? Got everything crossed!

AdrianaWeatherwax · 10/06/2017 08:56

Aaw damn! That's grim. Any idea what the offending food item was?

FrowningFlamingo · 10/06/2017 09:11

Oh no McTufty! I hope you feel better soon. I seem to be quite prone to tummy bugs, they're horrid aren't they.
I have, BFN. Not surprised as it's first cycle and only half of one at that according to clue! No sign of AF yet but I'm pretty sure I'm out. I'm a little disappointed which tbh is good as we were both a bit unsure about TTC. I can't say I'm not pleased I can have a drink with my friends today though. I hope they don't smell a rat anyway though - we usually drink fairly heavily at our meet ups and I'll only have one or two. Might feign a dodgy tummy McTufty!!

MissyEm · 10/06/2017 11:55

Glad you're feeling a bit better Mctufty, hopefully the sun is shining by you and you can relax somewhere.

DrowningFlamingo, sorry to hear about your BFN, a glass of something will help soften the result Smile.

Adriana your plan sounds like a great one!

The B*h came back to visit me today unannounced and 4 days early! How rude Shock

Keep calm and dance on Grin

McTufty · 10/06/2017 12:10

missyem

Sorry AF has come to visit Angry. Is it definitely AF if it's earlier than expected?

flamingo

I'm sorry you had a BFN, but at least it's helped you maybe clarify in your mind how you feel about TTC? When would AF be due, you might it be out yet? Anyway, enjoy a glass of wine and enjoy the perks of not being pregnant!

adriana

Yeah totally swear, Mumsnet sweariest place i've ever seen! Lots of shagging is never a bad plan

I am a lot better this morning, a little tender but such a relief that awful cramping has gone. Don't know what the offending item was, probably fish as I've been making eating that! Anyway it's our last day of honeymoon so we are off for a couple's spa then dinner before flying home tomorrow and I can buy a pregnancy test

FrowningFlamingo · 10/06/2017 12:12

MissyEm I hope your 'DrowningFlamingo' isn't a premonition Grin

MummyGofboys · 10/06/2017 12:20

@McTufty I tested yesterday five days before af is supposed to arrive and it was negative. Four days until official test day. I still feel nauseous, cramps, back pain. I just want to know. I don't think I am this time. We shall see. The neagative tests are getting annoying 😂😂. Sorry you are feeling so grim 😩😩

@AdrianaWeatherwax haha shag away. It's the only god thing about TC

@FrowningFlamingo boo for the negative xx

MissyEm · 10/06/2017 12:30

Whoops! My apologies @FrowningFlamingo! Damn auto text!

@Mctufty have a fabulous last day. Going to relax about the whole thing for a couple of weeks. Well at least a week anyway. Haha!!

MummyGofboys · 10/06/2017 12:32

@MissyEm just seen your post. Boooo about af arriving xx

Mrstobe90 · 10/06/2017 15:31

Hi guys! How are we all doing?

MummyGofboys · 10/06/2017 15:39

@Mrstobe90 hey missy. How are you? I'm on a 12 hour shift today and feeling horrendous. Still got this nausea xx

RSKhan1 · 11/06/2017 01:25

Hiya, im new to the group as well.
Really need some help, actually I'm ttc and have bought sevens seas trying for a baby supplements. Can anyone of you help
Me? When should I start taking it from?

McTufty · 11/06/2017 07:49

Hi rskhan I have never taken them so I'm not sure I'm afraid! I guess if you are trying already you should get going with them now?

FrowningFlamingo · 11/06/2017 08:33

Ideally from three months before rskahn so start now if you're TTC! Your post is reminded me that some people
Still no sign of AF over here. No symptoms of either pregnancy or AF. I have a smear booked on Thursday, hope neither interferes with that!

RSKhan1 · 11/06/2017 08:50

Ohh... I see, I had been taken Tesco's folic acid earlier but seem no luck with it.
Recently, read some good reviews abt seven seas supplement so bought it.
Now I'm confused as the supplement itself has days written on it i.e. Starting from Monday.
And Monday it will be me 3rd day of period!
So shall I wait till tomorrow or I can just start from today?

RSKhan1 · 11/06/2017 08:52

Dont worry, FrowningFlamingo.
Hopefully it will go well.
Keep us updated!

AdrianaWeatherwax · 11/06/2017 10:09

FFS just typed a long thing but mumsnet froze and I lost the bastarding thing.

Khan I've started the seven seas too, just take em every day ☺

Sorry AF has arrived Missy, fucking hate unannounced visitors 🍷.

Bad luck with the BFN MummyG and Flamingo although it's odd you've still got the nausea MummyG?

Hope you enjoyed the last day of your honeymoon McTufty!

How are you Mrstobe?

Still in bed, whisky hangover (yesterday was FIL's birthday). Maybe a BD and cooked breakfast will cure me.

MummyGofboys · 11/06/2017 10:37

@AdrianaWeatherwax I know!!! It's three days until AF is due and my boobs are now really sore. Don't know if it's the rise in progesterone in the leutel stage that's causing it but I don't have these symptoms normally. Going to test after Wednesday if AF hadn't arrived. I'm still trying to remain positive. Sounds like a good night. I have my sons birthday party today at our house, with 21 under 5's. What have I done!!!!

Mrstobe90 · 11/06/2017 10:54

I'm really well thanks :)

RSK welcome! If they're just prenatal vitamins, I'd say start them now :)

MummyG I hope the nausea is a good thing! We both get to test Friday don't we?

Flamingo I hate when you type a big post and lose it aha it happens all the time to me!

Sorry to everyone that got AF!!

MummyGofboys · 11/06/2017 10:59

@Mrstobe90 according to the ovia app it's three days so Wednesday. So I'm guessing that's the day my period is due. No idea lol.

AdrianaWeatherwax · 11/06/2017 11:39

MummyG how many months of entering data until it tells you when to take a pregnancy test? Or is it when you're X days past AF being due?
Here's hoping the nausea is a good sign.
21 under 5s?!? In your own house?! Are you mental?? 😂😂

MummyGofboys · 11/06/2017 11:50

@AdrianaWeatherwax yes I am mental 😂😂 this is the first month Iv used it. You put in the first day of your period and how many days your cycle is normally and it works it out. Every day you put in symptoms. I'm a 26 day cycle so pretty short. The nausea keeps coming in waves, boobs are sore and still cramping. If I'm not pregnant my body and I are having some serious words 😂😂

McTufty · 11/06/2017 11:55

Good luck with the party! It certainly does sound like promising symptoms, fingers crossed...

My ovia, because I can't even put in my last period, is just in a constant state of telling me I'm fertile and 12 days till test! Looking forward to getting it going properly.

I've started reading about blocked tubes and endometriosis etc and have really upset myself - silly as it's only first month of trying and I'm not even officially out yet as AF not here but this whole TTC thing makes you a bit loopy I think!

MummyGofboys · 11/06/2017 11:58

Oh @McTufty don't google things like that. It's the first month so no suggestion that it won't happen. Yiu have just come off the pill haven't you? Xx

McTufty · 11/06/2017 12:17

mummyg

Yes I have, and I haven't even tested this month yet! I'm a healthy BMI with no reason to suppose I'll have problems, I'm just torturing myself. I have just been on the pill so long and never paid attention to my cycles before so no idea if they're regular. It's just so stressful not knowing! I've always wanted to be a mother. You're right not to google, it was stupid of me Confused
