So in the absence of our lovely founder Hippy, I've set up thread #6 to help us keep up the motivation and PMA.

Congratulations to all our grads, the rest of us may be slacking behind but we'll be there soon!

Loa I totally know where you're coming from, me and DH have argued so much the last 6 months that I'm like "Why the hell do I want another baby with him again?!?" But in all honesty I think ttc puts such a strain on a relationship and that causes a lot of arguments. And I totally agree with Cakes that you'll have much more to argue about once you have a baby And yes Hippy, make-up sex definitely helps to make babies, worked for us last time

Hi Amanda, hope you're doing ok . We are DEFINITELY overdue some BFP's!

ahh thanks all that makes me feel loads better :)! You know when you just assume grown up life will be perfect the anxious side of me is like arghhhh and then you just have to be realistic! All is good now anyway but it's just in the moment a part of me is like 'omg nooooo!'

YES! we deffo need some BFPs again!! xx

Sorry for keeping you all in suspense! I didn't need to test, AF arrived in full force on Tuesday. Onwards and upwards. This obviously just wasn't my month. But the Agnus Castus gave me a 13 day LP and only 4 days of spotting so this will give it an extra month at least to do it's magic. It means I can enjoy lots of wine and cheese on my holiday in France next week too!

sorry about af hippy, but well done on your positivity. I would also love to be married, but would rather not have a wedding (it sounds so incredibly stressful) so I am totally with you on enjoying the engagement!

Af turned up here yesterday at 10 dpo, slightly too early for my liking. So then I'm about to start a medicated cycle. I'm taking femara and it could possibly lengthen the lp, so I guess I should cross my fingers and hope it does. It should also move forward ovulation, which clearly is an advantage for me (this month I ov on day 26). If lp is still super short this cycle it is agnus castus for me the next. Thanks for sharing your experience flash and sorry af got you too!

Tomorrow is my due date for the pregnancy I lost in January. I really had hoped that I would be pregnant again by now. I am not looking forward to it I have to say. I know this is not the right pma spirit, and I promise I will
pick myself back up soon. It probably doesn't help that I have to go back to work on Monday...

Anyway, sorry for being a bit down, but I am full of pma for my cycle buddy archie! Surely some of us should fall this cycle???

Patient so sorry that AF turned up. And I can only begin to imagine what you are going through with regards to tomorrow. I think you've done amazingly well with keeping up the PMA so far, so you're allowed a bit of time to feel down. Do whatever you need to over the next few days to make you feel better hopefully you'll crack it next cycle after starting your medication. I think sometimes just handing over a bit of control to the medical professionals can work wonders for your state of mind whist ttc xx

Massive congratulations to you Magpie. This one has to be a sticky. Here's to an uneventful and boring 8months for you.

Patient, that sounds really difficult. Take some time to be gentle with yourself. Due dates are a big deal after a loss.

I got another uti around ovulation, this happened in may too, which pushed back ovulation and left my hormones all messed up. So I have no idea when AF is due, any time from now until the middle of next week, I think. Not feeling hopeful as not much dtd due to the uti.

Fingers crossed for those in the 2ww.

Chips how annoying about the uti! I hate it when something stops you DTD during FW and it feels like you've just wasted a month 😫 we were the same, only DTD the day before OV so I'm not too hopeful either.

If you didn't manage to get pg this month then I hope AF comes for you soon so that you can crack on with the next cycle ☺️ is there anything you can do to try and avoid getting a uti at all?

Unfortunately not much I can do. I am prone to utis. Got my first age five!
To keep them away we have to use condoms and I take dmanose but can't use that will ttc nor condoms, for obvious reasons!

Crampy and sore boobs, so hopefully af will arrive soon and can get it over with.

Fingers crossed your one time will have worked, it only takes once!

chips sorry to hear about uti, I empathise on the feelings of wasting a cycle, but try and see it as one month closer to Bfp. I'm keeping it all crossed for you that af doesn't show and you too archies

Ah sorry to hear that @Chipsahoy. Clean break for the next cycle though. So sorry it got you too @notparticularlypatient but hopefully moving to a medicated cycle will do the trick for you. We are well overdue some more bfps!

I feel like I've had an odd cycle, just doesn't feel like normal,I can usually almost tell where I'm at in my cycle without checking dates, just go with how I feel. But I feel all over the place this month! No idea if that's a good or a bad thing?!

So sorry she got you Chips

12dpo over here and had a little temp drop this morning so I'm pretty sure AF will be here in a couple of days, right on cue. This is when it's annoying having a 14 day LP, I just wish she'd show up so we can get onto the next cycle!

archies I hear ya ... my cycle was slightly longer this month too but I kind of knew I was out and wanted af to rock up asap - although I don't temp so every day past cd26 my hopes get higher and higher so when it gets to cd29 as it did this cycle I was starting to convince myself that maybe I was upduffed ... and when af came there were a few tears. Fx the dip is anomaly failing that I hope she hurries up so you can crack on with the next cycle.

Thanks all for the kind words, today have not been the best of days, but not as bad as anticipated. I guess I had a reaction upfront when af hormones were on their worst. Anyway, now the day is over, and tomorrow I'll try to think about something else - clearly a good plan given that I'm back at work

Archies and cakes I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you! And sorry about af arriving chips. It really is rubbish. Hope the next cycle brings better news for us all!

Aaaaaaand AF is in the building! So I must have OV a day earlier than I thought. So we DTD the same day that I OV but not for the 5 days before that. So I was definitely out this month!

On to the next cycle
