Hoping for a BFP in May

I had light brown spotting last night and thought it may have been ovulation as i was 11dpo but nope. AF arrived early this morning! Hopefully May will be my the lucky month!

Hi all, I bought the clear blue dual hormone OPKs today. When is it that I should start testing on a 35 day cycle would you say? I usually ovulate around day 25. Xx

It says it in the little table on the first page of the instructions booklet. I did 8 days after my period for a 28 days cycle.

little it tells me today which is day 12 but I think if I ovulate on the 25th day surely today is too soon? X

Currently 11 days late for AF, tests are BFN. No idea whats going on with my body now :(
Looks like a trip to the drs tomorrow, see if the dr can shed some light on what's going on. I've been stressed this month but no more than usual

Morning everyone.
Tried a CB early response test this morning, not due until Thurs so falls within days of possible testing.
Negative.
So just waiting for AF on Thursday-ish. Feel very sad and I'm assuming if I was it would have showed up.

Do you all test beforehand or just wait?
Have many of you had negative tests and gone on to be pg?

Was so lucky with DD and last pg. Now feel bereft [melodramatic emoticon]

Sorry to hear that Cashmere . Getting early BFN isn't fun ...you feel that it's all over, but theres always that part of you that still feels there is still hope for that BFP. You never know ...it's not over until Aunty F arrives. Keeping everything crossed x

pocket hope you find out and it is a BFP. I've known people to not find out until they are 4 months gone.

Cashmere it could still be too early yet you never know. You're not out until AF arrives. I wouldn't test now though until you are late

@hoping i didnt find out until i was 4 months with DS, but wasnt trying so didnt test.

I chickened out of making drs appointment today. Im 12 days late, no cramps now but didnt want to see/hear another BFN :(

When did you last test pocket? Are you 100% sure you know the day you ovulated? Did you use OPKs or just have a rough idea? 12 days seems like quite a long time. You maybe ovulated later than you thought xx

Tested yesterday morning hun.
No didnt use opk's went off a rough estimate. Did do an opk a few days before AF due as i read it can show pregnancy too and it came up pretty dark. So unsure if i ovulated late or not. Either way i dtd plenty to cover late ovulation or not. But if that was the case id be 12dpo too. So wouldnt a test be showing a BFP too?

Pocket If you ov'd when af was due then you'd probably need a few more days before it would show up on a test. Have you done a frer?

@phoenix no hun not yet. Think i will do though. Its driving me nuts. The 2ww is bad enough, let alone a 4ww!!! X

AF arrived yesterday morning. Was so CONVINCED I was pg and went out to buy a test Sunday evening and everything! Even DH thought I was and he knows me better than anyone

Oh well, I guess I just need to be a bit more relaxed about body changes and symptoms. When you're looking for something...it's amazing how your brain makes you think it's a thing!!

I read on another ttc forum a great piece of advice from another lady: don't read into anything/get too crazy excited over anything that doesn't feel alarmingly different to normal. For example, my only symptoms were sore boobs (get those all the time, they're a rowdy pair of G cups ffs), off alcohol (naturally, have re-wired my thoughts to 'must not harm possible baby') and some really sharp pains on 10dpo. And feeling like I'd been hit by a truck on Sunday .Which in hindsight was just evil AF prepping herself for a rude Monday morning appearance...

I'm due Thurs-ish, new cycle after mc and years of being on pill and no periods. So not sure when I can in fact expect it...

I'm similar to you in that I have almost convinced myself that I am definitely could be, and every twinge and anything is a sign. I tell myself 100 times a day 'I'm not pregnant' and if I am then that's great.
I did actually do another one today but not fmu (excuses excuses) and despite me thinking there could be a tiny line there really wasn't. So will wait till the weekend when I expect af might make an appearance - obviously when we're due to be staying at my in laws for the weekend, because, you know, PERIODS.

So hey. No news.

It could still be too early for your BFP so my fingers remain firmly crossed for you!!

I admit I tested early a few times before AF (10dpo, 11dpo and then even the morning AF arrived!!!! because a tiny part of me wanted to believe it was implantation – I had the test unwrapped and ready to POAS then bham – AF said hi – I said no, I'm testing, you can hold your fire!! #crazywoman). I think it's fine to do so if you are willing to take the knock back of a BFN.

It is so hard to not know whether you have that BFP or not, and the only way to know is to wait whilst driving yourself slowly mad. I woke up on Sunday morning with what I can only describe as a massive hangover, despite having zero alcohol for 3 weeks! I felt like total crap inexplicably all day and even had a 3 hour nap!! DH was like, I'm really worried about you, you must be pg! Er, nah, not that easily...

I have had my bfp. So excited but also nervous due to last mc.
