Hoping for a BFP in May

I had light brown spotting last night and thought it may have been ovulation as i was 11dpo but nope. AF arrived early this morning! Hopefully May will be my the lucky month!

I am considering whether to have a glass of wine. I'm only 4dpo so it wouldn't even have implanted yet even if this is my month but then i feel guilty knowing i could be! Might stick to juice!

So I think AF is easing off. Very light now almost spotting. My whole period was quite light to be honest and now it's got even lighter. Maybe TMI but when I go to change my tampons they aren't even full. Just half if that. I didn't sleep with one in at all last night and didn't even leak once which is odd because before pregnancy and the coil my periods were very heavy I had to use super plus tampons and change them every 2 hours!! Plus they lasted 5 days now it's only been 2 xx

young if you don't mind me asking, how long have you been off bc? Could it be your body adjusting or do you think it's just an anomaly?

Imo I had my coil removed in Feb but I only had it in since June/July. It could be though. Hopefully it gets sorted so that my cycles are back to normal. Although I'm not complaining about short and light periods lol xx

I tested this morning and nothing, but I'm still 7 days away from AF. I think last time I had a positive by now though. I used an early sign acutest one, cheapie from coop.
I can't seem to find if they're any good or not? Does anyone know?
It's difficult isn't it user, I'm trying to be a bit cautious in case I am (especially after 2 MC), but I feel I can't live my life too differently during the 2ww as il drive myself mad!

My af has just arrived and boy is she back with a vengeance I forgot what non pill af's are all about💔 Better luck next month

young I hope your cycles get back to normal for you too Although I wouldn't be complaining about a lighter AF too, the last two months it's felt like there's a boxing match going on in there. Haha

pinki You're not out until your out! You still have lots of time (although that won't make the tww go any quicker, sorry!)

I misread my calendar - AF is due 4th May. I've tested (I couldn't control myself ) and got a BFN.

scruff it's still early. Some women don't get a BFP until after their period was due. My boobs have been hurting whenever they're touched (nothing sexy, my toddler has been accidentally bashing them!). They wouldn't normally hurt like this so I'm wondering if I am... but then I wonder if I'm just exaggerating the symptoms!

To the ladies on their AF or just off it, May is a new month, and a month won't make much difference (that's what I'm telling myself in case I get a negative next week)

How is everyone else doing today? I've been getting lots of mild twinges/cramps and my boobs feel a bit sore but not sure how much of that is in my head!! Best of luck to everyone who is still in this month and to those who will get a bfp next cycle instead

Han Aww but you're halfway through the tww. When do you think you'll test? Or will you wait until you're late?

If I didn't get my surprise early AF, I would be symptom spotting like crazy, been nauseas since Wednesday night, with low appetite, food aversions and acid reflux. All unusual for me!

Thanks everyone! I hope I'm not just seeing what I want to see or it be an evap! I'll test again midweek, still won't get my hopes up until I've passed the day af is due and it doesn't show.
