We are a bunch of ladies who are either

• humping (TTC)
• by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
• humped (BFP)

And everything in between!

We've had 8 BFPs since January (and counting!) and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Well I got my bfn this morning which is a relief but the weird thing is I'm starting to get a dark line on opk, think it's just the left over hge in my system. Will keep tracking though!

That's good tigger, I'd heard of it sometimes taking a while... do you think you maybe ovulating again or just hormone malfunctions.... did u and DH decide to wait or just go for it asap? x

Tigger glad things are progressing back to normal for you - did they say you could ovulate again before AF? I wonder how it works hormonally. Hope are are feeling ok x

My opks are still negative although my Ovia app says I'm in FW. Told DH about smep and it was fine before the holidays but now and sorry if it's tmi I have to fight him off to keep it to EOD! He says ED won't hurt so abandoning plan and just going for it! There's something about not being at work and being more relaxed. Fx that it works!

Beautiful day here too. Yup you can ovulate before af, apparently some bodies treat the
Mc as a period then ovulate 2 weeks after as per usual... crazy!

We've kind of come to the decision that we'll carry on dtd this month if it happens great but if not we're not putting ourselves under pressure and will try properly after af.

Oh has booked us a few days away at the end of the month which will be lovely to just relax at a spa and not think about ttc!

Just keep your fingers crossed that all the stories are true about being more fertile after a mc!

Heading out for breakfast then reflexology in a bit then we're test driving a new car- an outlander phev although we'll be getting a second hand one. Then back into the garden grand designs and house clear out- joys of having a skip. Btw has anyone else tried the hairy dieters cookbooks.... they're fantastic! I'm 2lbs down this week aiming for another stone and a half ideally 😀

So my period started properly today, CD1. I was okay with that kind of until my friend just text me who started TTC#2 at the same time as me with a positive FRER 😢 I'm happy for her obviously but I absolutely devastated now. I hate this and I know I've only been trying for 5months well now in to cycle 6, which compared to others is nothing but it feels like a life time 😣 Sorry for the gloom especially when there are others here going through a rough time

Tigger I’m so pleased for you regarding the bfn. Does it offer some kind of closure? I know it won’t stop hurting but at least you can think about next steps :) I haven’t tried the cookery book but have heard it’s great.

buzz yay for being baby buddies! I don’t have a scan date yet aghh. So frustrating. I assume I will get it soon after my booking in appointment (a week on monday.) 12 weeks will coincide exactly with when we go on holiday so hoping for just before or just after that. I know people that haven’t been offered scans until after 14 weeks in my area which doesn’t make sense as I thought you couldn’t do the nuchal combined test after 13+6!! Anyway we will see what happens, and if we aren’t able to be seen before 14 weeks then we’re going to go privately. This first trimester is such hard work as don’t even feel 100% convinced there is a viable baby in there. I don’t mean that flippantly, genuinely find this whole ‘unknown’ time quite disconcerting. Not long to go though :)

Cross-post mummy, I'm so sorry you're feeling so rubbish today. It's completely understandable. It feels so unfair and out of control. It will happen for you and you'll be the one with the lovely positive FRER. Are you going to try anything different this month to help feel positive - lube? Be kind to yourself.

jupiter I don't know what else to do this month. We have used the lube a few times for the last two cycles. I OPK with IC and clear blue. I do cervix checking, CM checking. I tried temping which did kind of work but I'm not great at it. I take zinc, vit C, folic acid, vit D and Vit B. We have dtd EOD and ED in fertile week.
I guess I could try temping again, use lube again. I'm just so deflated and my friend keeps texting about how excited she is

It must feel so deflating mummy, especially when you are doing everything right! Is your DH taking any supplements? My DH started taking wellman the same month I got pregnant.

It's lovely for your friend and I know you're happy for her, but doesn't stop it hurting x

So sorry mummy it must feel so deflating if it's any consolation my friend was trying for a year then basically just thought screw it I'm not putting life on hold and went back to drinking and DTD when they felt like it. Then it just happened!

Tigger happy for you - enjoy the spa! And reflexology this morning sounds lovely. And I'm jealous of your skip! I'd give my right arm for one right now so I can chuck out all DH's crap 😬

Otters glad DH is keen 😉 mine cannot keep his hands off me since I got pregnant for some reason (I was worried it would be the opposite). It's so weird because I'm usually the more keen one! Just want to sleep now please

Jupiter I know exactly what you mean about feeling unsure it's a viable baby. My EPU scan report said "unknown viability" which is of course because it was only 5+2. I'm 5+6 today and Ovia says that mini bean could have a heartbeat now! Tomorrow it will be blueberry sized. So strange to think it's so tiny still. DD is getting all excited about telling people but I'm not sure I want everyone knowing if things don't work out. Just over 4 weeks until my harmony test, it's booked for 16 May.

Mummy your AF was late right? Could it have been a chemical? I'm sure there was a line on that FRER you posted. Hugs x

grumpy ha ha must be all the hormones in you that's attracting your DH. I think my DH is also feeling quite desperate and just feels like he doesn't want to miss a chance. I'm not complaining as we're both feeling relaxed and calm at the moment which is a good thing.

grumpy glad I'm not the only one feeling that way. Excellent that you've got the harmony test booked. Think I just need some dates in my diary to work towards - feels a bit out of control (but then I am a control freak, something I need to let go of as doesn't seem to work well alongside pregnancy ha)

Thanks ladies. I had a good cry on OH which has made me feel better. He said we could have a Baby called Brooklyn if we are successful this month 😂 Although fertile week starts the day before we leave new york

jupiter EXACT same worries about what's going on inside... all we've got to go on til the scan is a positive scan & lack of AB, would be so nice to hAve a 6/7/8 week scan as standard!

Hb & Jupiter I had a call from EPU to reschedule my 8wk reassurance scan because I had left them a message saying I was away with work on the appointment date. But they couldn't give me another day /time that I could commit to without taking time off work so I've cancelled it.

Well guys I did it - third flight pregnant and no drugs. Almost took some Valium before take off but decided to wait and see, as usual the anticipation was worse than the reality. Bumpy on the way down but excellent pilot managed a v smooth landing and got a round of applause!

Been greeted by my DH and his lovely best friend (who was best man at our wedding) and DH is driving us all to MIL's house in the French countryside! Feeling very happy and excited to see family and tell them our news.

Penguin your feet are linked to every part of your body so she rubs pressure points on your feet to help other areas! Today she was helping to balance my body out post miscarriage. It was blissful.

jupiter god you are superwoman! I'd be going crazy without a date! I'm sure it will be soon after booking in but absolutely get a private one before your holiday otherwise you'll go mad! For £39 you can't go wrong! You have the patience of a saint though!

I've spent the whole day in the garden and absolutely bloody exhausted but so so pleased with the progress! Today we put up an arch and some fencing did a whole green bin full of weeds! Having a Thai takeaway for dinner and can't wait!
