Took a test this morning and a pink line came up within the time limit. It was with very concentrated urine thanks to my mild hangover of rosè last night Blush

I did another a FRER work this afternoon after many cups of tea and water and it's a stark BFN.

I wonder if the Superdrug one was an evap.

Any experience or opinions?

Hi silly sausage has AF shown her face? I still have nothing so going out to buy another test!

Sophie- blue dye tests are apparently more susceptible to evaporation lines and is hard to tell the difference between a faint positive and evap because of the colour. Where as a faint pink line is a lot more obvious.

Exactly the same has happened to me this month SillySausage. I got a VERY convincing evap on a Superdrug test yesterday (looks just like yours), so I ran out to get a FRER. Stark white. I'd bought a 2 pack of both and tested again - same thing - evap on the Superdrug, BFN on the FRER.

Hi that's not my bear where are you in your cycle? did you know superdrug early pregnancy tests are more sensitive than first respons? X

thatsnotmybear · 28/03/2017 13:19

Hi holzy, I think I read that somewhere as well, but I'm 12dpo today so would expect to see something on a FRER by now. Expecting AF Thurs/Fri, but will of course update if it turns out I was wrong about the Superdrug tests!

holzyb20 · 28/03/2017 13:29

I too have the same problem at the minute hate not knowing!!

sophiesophie88 · 28/03/2017 13:34

Thank you holzyb, just wanted to know for the next time a bye test, many thanks x x

Well I finally have a definitive answer!

I am now officially CD1.

I honestly don't know what test to trust in future, I've never not experienced an evap.
Perhaps just IC's with a very open mind.

Good luck to the others.

Hi silly sausage if you still have the superfluous packaging email superdrug customer service and they will send you a form fill it out and send the packaging off to them and they will give you a full refund I have alread been emailing them.

holzyb20 · 28/03/2017 14:35

Sorry my spell check is a nightmare if you still have the superdrug pregnancy test packaging

LuckyHappyMummy123 · 28/03/2017 17:23

I had an evap last week with a Superdrug. Did get my hopes up as 3 months ago got a positive on a Superdrug and was indeed pregnant. First response showed up as positive the day after. However this pregnancy turned out to be a chemical.

This month one positive on a Superdrug but not One on a frer or indeed any other Superdrug tests so deffo was an Evap/duff test. Won't be touching them again now. Sorry it's happened to you xx
