Confused I know you are right.. I should not have assumed I ovulated so early as this is turning into a 3WW!

Seven0fNine · 04/03/2017 21:52

Well I thought that confused but I'm not that lucky and I don't think it's meant to last that long, this is day 3 now. If it is its only 11dpo so still too early to test and I don't feel pregnant although I have 3 of those spots 😪😪 Haha! Im glad you're going to meet your midwife soon! How are you feeling now? How is our little confused poppy seed? (upgraded from a bubble now right?)

buzzmoon · 05/03/2017 00:10

Welcome cocktails!

I'm currently on the train home, absolutely trashed from my prosecco brunch/cocktails after (and the bottle of wine) Christ deffo going to feel it in the morning!!!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 05/03/2017 03:34

Ladies - we may have something. Not sure if this is a smudge or a line? And of course I've gone and thrown out this mornings wee so can't retest on the clear blue!! Had a smudgy window yesterday so it's hard to tell but looks a little line like to me?

Hmm that looks like a flooded test to me parsnips... try again tomorrow? X

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 05/03/2017 05:48

I think it is a smudge too. These preg n care tests are shite.

Did have a funny moment when I showed DH - he was like OMG that line is so strong and I was like no sweetie that's the control line!!!

Men!

I thought I saw a faint line on my IC earlier this morning but I have just been to the loo and got brown blood when I wiped Sad I'm pretty sure this is the start of AF...

Positives:
• Cycles seem to be regular so far (35 days and 33 days) and getting closer to my pre pill 30 day cycles
• One month closer to my ideal mat leave start date (Feb 2018)
• Can drink next week when boss is here from the US (would have been very obvious)

Thank you all for listening to my crazy for the last two weeks! Next TWW I will not symptom spot or line hunt until AF is late! I promise! What a palaver.

AllTheGlitters · 05/03/2017 08:38

OWH Parsnips I do think that particular line is a little too close to the control line, but I've never seen a test do that some maybe there was something going on to pull the dye that way but it got messed up??? How many DPO are you again? :)

Grumpy sorry to hear about your AF after all your ups and downs, but that is very good news about your cycles becoming nice and regular!

Sorry about your spots too Seven, you're right I think I saw my implantation bleed thinking it was the start of AF and it was literally a streak of pink in my CM, but every woman is different!

Buzz dammit your post has made me realise no more alcohol for what feels like an eternity. No Pimms or Prosecco in summer :'(

HeyJupiter · 05/03/2017 09:21

grumpy sorry about the spotting :( what a rollercoaster you've been on but glad we could do it all together. Excellent list of positives though and in agreement it's reassuring to see your post-pill cycles regulating.

cocktail welcome! I was so interested to read your posts and totally agree that you need all the information before you can make any kind of decision. I hope the appointment goes well and you feel listened to. Sounds like it's been a long journey already!

parsnips hmm, retest tomorrow? I don't know where the positive line is meant to fall on those tests..

buzz hope you had a glorious time - and your head isn't too sore this morning.

So I'm feeling a bit guilty this morning.. despite all my smugness yesterday about not drinking ended up having 3 glasses of wine at friends dinner party last night. Surely that's okay at 2dpo? Won't make a habit of it but you can't totally put your life on hold? Especially as more likely not to be pregnant.

DancingUnicorn · 05/03/2017 09:28

Parsnips how are you doing the tests? I flooded one when I actually physically peed on it, I found it so much easier to control if I collected and then dipped!

Cocktails you're far braver than me. I chickened out of having genetic tests done, even though there's a chance I may have a horrid disease that I could pass on. I still have waves of feeling very guilty about it. But at the same time, if I'd tested and found I had the gene it would essentially be s death sentence for me and my dad (he's also never been tested). I hope you get the answers and the referral you want and don't have to wait for more results to come back!!

Grumpy I'm so sorry if it's AF. We don't think you're crazy! Definitely a proper rollercoaster of a month. Are you using cb opk this month?

confusedat23 · 05/03/2017 09:32

Jupiter you will be fine having 3 glasses at 2dpo... i wouldn't worry too much about it hun!

Sorry for AF Grumpy it must be a bery bittersweet time for you but at least you have CBAFM for next cycle!!

Parsnips those tests are 20mlu so only any good for after AF due tbh... but i also had 2 of those tests (same as they sell in wilkos) give me odd results due to the plastic sheet on the window touching the test!

Glad you had a good evening Buzz! Go all out whilst you can!

So i started my baby blanket yesterday me and DH picked 3 wools:
Mint green (will be colour of cot)
White
Rainbow

I am doing a granny square one and currently 6 squares in but some look very boy and some look very girl lol... i will probably make a more colour dependant one for pram once we know the sex etc

I am also going Maternity Jeans shopping today... i had a meltdown yesterday as my tummy doesnt like my RI specials pushing down on it anymore so just going straight in for some underbump ones!

HeyJupiter · 05/03/2017 09:34

Oh confused forgot to mention how exciting it is that you're going to get your appointment soon. Makes it all so real! Just looked up the cost of the fertility gel you sent - so expensive!! Thank you so much. Wish I could make it up to you. If I don't get through them all I could send them onto the next person? Can start a cross-country lube exchange network :)

HeyJupiter · 05/03/2017 09:35

Oh confused the blanket will be beautiful!!

HeyJupiter · 05/03/2017 09:37

Dancing gosh that must have been such a hard decision.. but also I suppose that any of us could be carrying any number of potential health problems and knowing too much might just stop us all living our lives. I don't think you should feel guilty, totally your call if you want to know Flowers

TheGrumpySquirrel · 05/03/2017 09:38

Thank you lovelies yes I will start using the CBFM from tomorrow if this is indeed AF. I'm not hopeful at all anymore, but if it's real AF if should be in full flow by tonight; I've got the dreaded AF backache so I think it will be. If not, and it goes away, I'll do another IC in the morning. DH is being very sweet and making me breakfast in bed.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 05/03/2017 09:43

Dancing I totally understand why you would decide not to find out. Hugs Brew

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 05/03/2017 09:45

Yeah that's the thing ladies - I was dipping. I collect the FMU in a little pot and then dip just the top bit of test in (careful not to go over the line) for ten seconds as per instructions and then wait. I would understand a flooded test more if I'd wee'd all over stick but anyway. I don't think these ones are the best tbh. And even if/when I get a positive result, I don't think I'll believe it until the digital says the same.

Awk grumpy that really sucks. Glad DH is being sweet.

Confused maternity jeans sounds so exciting!! I can't justify it yet. Though am melting down so easily atm! Yesterday had a full on meltdown in a restaurant..... SO embarrassing!!! I'm dreading having to find maternity clothes for work! I'm too exhausted ATM to think about it. Really need a better bra though! The baby blanket sounds amazing!

Jupiter haha! A cross country lube exchange!

xlaura · 05/03/2017 09:58

Morning ladies, hope we all dtd last night and get increasing those bfps!! I obvs didn't because I'm too scared incase my cramps come back again 👀

Here's an update on the wardrobes so far..excuse the mess and the stripped bed. We haven't finished just yet so I refuse to put clean bedding on for it to be covered in tools and dust 😤

xlaura · 05/03/2017 09:58

May also help if I attach the picture too..been up since 6:50am blame the lack of sleep... 😂

Definitely AF now. CD1!

Cocktails30 · 05/03/2017 10:09

DancingUnicorn it isn't something I would have normally thought about, however my husband's grandad, brother and son with his ex partner all have the condition/disease and it isn't nice and there's no hiding from the fact it can pass on so easily. Now what worries me if they screen is both for anything else as who knows what they could find?! It is such a long journey and I'm a little bit fed up of it now! Half tempted with trying naturally and having CVS but if they say it has the gene there's a 35% it wouldn't show clinical symptoms (just like my oh) so what decision do you make then?!

jupiter you def can't give up drinking just in case. Put it this way how many women keep on drinking for months before they realise they're pregnant. My own mother being one! She didn't think she would fall so soon and got hammered! Then found out she was pregnant!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 05/03/2017 10:13

Oh grumpy I don't even know what to say - I was so sure this was it for you. I hope you are being kind to yourself. You've really been put through your paces this month. At least you have your answer now, albeit I know it's not the one you wanted. 💐
