i have a day planned full of cleaning the house, making a pot of soup and seeing a pg friend for a quick catch up then absolutely nothing... just what i need after a long tiring week! what i'd love to see are some BFPs on here too so let's get them rolling in #comeonedoreens. what you lovely lot up to today?

I have a pregnant friend coming to see me today. She's due in a month so wanted to catch up before the baby comes! Otherwise just having a chill Sunday!

Oh BellaMoon she's a cutie. Here are my lovely two. I'm not sure what to do today, I have a pile of marking but putting that off to this evening. DH has loads to do so going to have a think. Hopefully it stays dry so I can head out somewhere.

my house is like 50shades of grey @Anna2006 (that's actual shades not a red room of pain or luxurious spaces with grand piano!) but must admit, love my carpet too, it's the only place i have carpet on the stairs and landing. that'll change tho, only moved in July last year so slowly working my way around the house.

I admire the huge amount of willpower of the ladies that are gonna wait to test. I'm a nightmare for POAS. I'm now having a mild freak out about testing and getting my BFP so early. I'm (was?!) Due AF today and have next to no symptoms of anything- AF or pregnancy so I'm doing another test this morning when I stop putting it off and just get up - all going well, it should be clearer as it's been 48hrs?
I'll be mad if it's a BFN and I've gone out mt way to avoid drinking this weekend Haha!

aw @Dollydaydream2829 by all means do the other test but that was a BFP! you must be in a "daydream" (see what i did there) and it might take a wee while to sink xx

Haha you're right bella - I thought the obsessive overthinking would stop with a BFP but SHOCK. It's still there.... lol!
As you can see from the attached, my over thinking/worrying wasn't needed, and got a dark line. I think I really am in shock now. Shit just got real! I think that makes me a teeny 4 weeks 0days. So a loooong way to go.
I think the symptom that is stressing me slightly is the constant cramping I have, like AF is away to start. Probs why I'm not letting myself fully believe. DH is now fully on board thankfully as the last test he was kinda like 'I can't really see a line' whereas now he's defo seeing it and getting a little excited!

Burn isn't too bad, thank you all for your concern 😘. Just sore this morning.

Loving all the kitty pictures. Animals are so lovely, I think they provide us with an understanding that humans cannot. Whenever I'm sad I always seek out my two. Not that they enjoy being smothered hah!!!

dolly yes your test should be darker but don't panic if it isn't, all that you need to know is that you've got your BFP no matter what. Not all women have pg symptoms, so don't let that make you feel worried. Will you ring your GP tomorrow and book in with the Midwife?

cakes I really want a NT membership. We had an English Heritage one last year but we live in the arse-end of middle of nowhere, so only went to 6 places!

@cakes I love a National Trust visit, we don't have enough NT properties in NI so we cancelled our membership as we had been round them all. Still a bit regretful of that decision! Enjoy :)

@Dolly please do another test to settle yourself. I'm planning on poas'ing with fmu until at least Friday.

I am meeting 2 uni friends today - we try and meet up every few months. 1 has 2 dc and said last year they would like to have another this year so I'm half expecting an announcement from her. But I'll be keeping my lips sealed for now ;)

Since you asked @hippy :) here are my pee sticks. I was a bit worried yesterday that it wasn't any darker but af was due today / tomorrow so relieved we are definitely darker today! As I said I'm gonna keep going until at least Friday just to make sure.

Thanks salem - I wasn't going to phone my GP til I was about 6 weeks? I thought phoning this week would still be a bit early? But I'm worryingly naive about this whole pregnancy thing so is it advisable to phone the GP as soon as?
Oh moo it makes me feel a lot happier knowing you're feeling the same and testing as well. I think it's because we all wait so long for this moment that we just want to make sure it's really happening?? God knows!

Aww bella thank you! I don't know about moo but those pregnancy boards are still a bit scary for me to join so if you'll have me, I'm more than comfortable to wait with you guys until you get your BFPs and we can go on to create a PMA pregnancy group!!

Bella My black cat is a princess. They don't get on very well. But they are both loved very much and have a nice, safe, happy home and that's what matters!! Sometimes they sniff each other's bums (!!!) and that's the closest they'll ever get!

Dolly Hmmmmmm. If it were me, I'd ring up maybe Tuesday/ Wednesday as I would be a) too excited and b) want to get myself in the system. Some GPS are busy so you might not get your 8 week appt. on time, whereas others are not as busy. Do what feels right for you!

Oh and Moo and Dolly you are more than welcome to stay as graduates! In fact, we all implore you to stay!!!

Thank you ladies! :) I had some questions so I joined an antenatal club on here but I have unfollowed it as they just weren't as friendly or helpful or lovely as you ladies! We've spoilt ourselves! The pma crew = my safety blanket! I was always staying put here - I'm comfortable and feel welcome and get that warm feeling! But im glad you are all happy that we stay - thank you :) and yes as @dolly says when you all get your bfps (ie this month!) we'll set up a pma pregnancy group to share our pregnancy journeys! :) xoxo

Yep back on the PMA today. I get a bit anxious worrying my mc has caused something. You can't help but worry when you fall first time and then after a mc it's takes a while...it's frustrating. Clearly our eggs and swimmers like each other...just hope nothing is wrong preventing us from falling. But I'm sure that's just my overactive brain!
