I'm tempted by your approach for next month too - its sounds really good when you say it like that ... making out when you want cuz you want and binning off all the things that stress us out.

any OPKs experts able to shed some light on this?

iv had very little of other symptoms such as EWCM, tender breasts etc.

I got three positives at cd3,4,5 and now on a negative at day 9. But it's on the rise getting stronger again. My problem is the tests need a level of 20 or above of LH to register and last month at day 21 my levels were 79 so I think I now can't trust the tests. Are you still sticking to SMEP this month? I'd just keep it rocking till the end if I were you xx

I took a few days away ladies as my PMA slipped! But you ladies give such good support then I will nip in now and then.

Bella I reckon you've ovulated tbf. There not always 100% accurate. Maybe it just missed it! Hold out hope I guess!

So question for all you ladies - how many days do you get AF for and what is your flow like? (Sorry if TMI but I want to get a broad picture of different ppl)

Before mc I was 4 days AF. And terms of flow and days tended to be Heavy, meduim, light, light

Since mc I have a 3 day AF which is H,M,L. Then 4th day spotting which I don't really count. Not enough for tampon basically.

Is a 3 day period normal anyone?! I'm slightly concerned it's quite short. But I do need the green heavy tampons on day 1 and 2. Day 1 they have to be changed quite frequently so I'm thinking that's a good thing? Maybe my body's just destined to get it over with all quickly. I've never had a cycle over 4/5 days since I started them in puberty.

bella I'm no expert in the opk department but if you want to increase ewcm take evening primrose between cd1 up to ovulation next cycle ... I'll email you a link to a good website tomorrow from my work PC if that's ok - remind me as Ive got a memory like a sieve!! Cytoplan is a good brand :)) xxx

anna mine is similar to yours but I use regular tampons all the way through and I wouldn't classify any of my days as heavy ... more like regular, regular, light, light.
I googled this earlier and dr Google said 2-7days bleeding is normal. The soup I posted a while back spinach and watercress builds blood and I've ordered another recipe book to help tTC so when it comes I'll post some more recipes up.

I'm starting to get my PMA back after two major meltdowns and a big fat cry ... and I would say that we are all different - shapes, size, weight, job, stresses, genetic make up etc .... so what's normal for one won't be normal for another .... I think as long as your ovulating, eating fairly clean, not smoking, not overdoing the caffeine, exercising a little, keeping hydrated, taking a pregnancy multivitamin with folic and zinc, and keeping calm .... oh and dtd in fw .... your doing your best xxx

thanks ladies... i'm hoping wee peggy egg popped out some point over the weekend as that's when we've been most active with DTD.

SMEP went out the window when DH didn't see flashing smileys last week. he's had a good talking too and realises that we can't only rely on the OPKs, we have to almost forget about them (i'm trying to take some of the pressure off so want him to disregard them while i'll keep a wee eye on them next cycle).

@Anna2006 i can't really help with AF as i was on bc for 20+ yrs so don't have alot of history to give. from the 2 cycles iv had recently, first was very light for 4 days, the last cycle was 5 days light then heavy x3 days then light again. hope that helps xx

Bella u have totally reminded me that I was dreaming about Jim Carey last night, so random not like I've seen him in anything recently.

I've started spotting now and feeling rough, I didn't use to get any symptoms till the day before AF (due on the 17th) but I suppose it could still go either way as every ruddy af symptom could also be a pregnancy symptom, but pre af spotting is usual for me

@Anna2006 my afs have also reduced annoy and got lighter. We're always a couple of heavy days and a medium and a final light. Now medium, light, light. Bit I've been on and off different types of contraception for years! Have been off all contraception since august though and this is what I've been getting.

@Hippychic79 sorry about the meltdowns. Totes normal though! Still loads of time to make that winter baby though and spring like fertility too xx

@ArchiesMamaBird I started out this month with the intention of opks etc but ended up giving up with that and just having lots of happy sex! Definitely improved my mood and I think dhs too. Even if this month isn't my month,I think we'll continue like that. It's been quite lovely

@BellaMoon so frustrating! Perhaps you're peggy whizzed down your tubes so fast to meet her Doreen that you missed registering her on the cv opk?! No harm in a bit of wishful thinking hun. Fingers crossed the tests were a load of shite and you hit that sweet spot just fine this month!!

Bella, your opks are indeed confusing. As you say, you might already have ovulated. But in case Peggy eggy is just a bit late to the party, you might not want to let dh of the ttc hook just yet....? A delayed smep maybe? I have read that it might take some time for cycles to start working properly post coming off bc.

It seems like all these delayed eggys have inspired my own to the same behavior. So today, finally, the opk has two dark lines at CD 23. The overpriced cb monitor said high this morning, and not peak. I'll go with the two lines on the IC and count tomorrow as ov day. Means that dtd will need to happen tonight, dp has a terrible cold, but we will just have to ignore that. Oh, the joys of ttc

Oh well AF made her appearance tonight ☹️ Lol was half expecting her though!

@hippy I'm not on speaking terms with DH but told him the plan, gave him strict instructions and told him he does things my way. We got a letter today from the fertility dr who has shook him up a bit I think. On CD9 today and starting to get positive opk lines now so if it's going to happen he needs to decide now.

I can be a bitch if I want to be and he knows who runs this house so if I go on strike he'll starve to death with no clean clothes surrounded by toys and mess. 😆

thanks for the OV support ladies. i just did my pre-bed pee and guess what - we're back to flashing smiley faces... WTAF peggy, make your mind up! after the low fertility circle earlier, we DTD anyway, as soon as i orgasmed i got a sharp shooting pain in my right side, so much so that i had to bend over to each the sharpness of the pain. it lasted less than a minute but it was v v painful. anyway, a day in the life waiting, wondering and willing peggy along.

my stats are gonna be all over the place this month as god knows when BFP/AF will be due now that i'm still waiting to OV at CD18!

@notparticularlypatient how long are your cycles. I noticed I got +opk late in this cycle at day 17. I usually get them cd13/14.

I've still got flashing so am hoping I get my static one tomorrow. DH is feeling crappy today so as much as I want to jump his bones I feel this would go badly.

I always struggle with PMA on a Monday, if only life could be Fridays and Saturdays.

@Itsjustaphase84 my cycles can be from 28 to 35ish days. And lp is usually 11. So this is a long one, but not unheard of. Fx for a bfp for you in a couple of days!
