These are my cycle lengths for the last year... I'm right to test now and a bfn must be more than accurate at cd30. I'm obsessing. Taking a week off after seeing the fertility dr on Monday. 😂

Hippychic79 · 04/03/2017 07:14

lala your cycle lengths look normal to me. I've heard that it is possible that we can miss a period and I've definitely had a few that have been a good week or so late for whatever reason. But equally like you said on previous post - sometimes the pg hormone is not always high enough to detect in very early pg ... I would sit it out for a few more days. Are you seeing the doctor Monday or have you seen him already? Xxx

BF fucking N.

Hmmmm. 9DPO. Is that too early? AF due Monday. Should I still hold out hope? .

Have had sore boobs (never get that), constant left ovary pain, bled pinky spotting after DTD last night. Wtffffff Sad.

lalathebear · 04/03/2017 08:00

Hippy we have had loads of tests and seeing the infertility consultant on Monday as I'm getting on in age and we've been trying almost two years. They can't help us conceive but can tell us if there's anything wrong that might be stopping it. My gp referred us because I didn't realise at my age 70% of people suffer secondary infertility after their 1st baby.

BellaMoon · 04/03/2017 08:06

yes yes YES @salem hold out hope as you're never out til AF shows!

i can't tell anyone what's too early to test, remember i was the crazy cat lady who POAS from 4dpo i knew it was pointless but i had fun doing it

and i'm also the weird symptom spotter, sore elbow? yip you're preggers!

please keep your #PMA going strong, we're all rooting for ya x

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 04/03/2017 08:18

Thanks Bella that made me feel better. I just feel frustrated as all of my irl friends/ relatives/ neighbours/ colleagues/ pets etc. are getting upduffed and I think, hmmm why me.

DH is going to the GP on Wednesday to enquiry about getting his Doreens (Wink) tested. He had an operation on his testes when he was 2 and there was a small chance he'd encounter problems when TTC.

We just chatted about it and he asked if I wanted to divorce him and marry someone fertile Confused!!! This journey is so bloody crazy.

BUT you are right, PMA. I'm not out until the bitch shows her face. Love this group, it's so helpful to talk through these things with people who are going through the same thing Flowers xxx

Dollydaydream2829 · 04/03/2017 08:26

Aw Salem, sorry about your BFN but you are only 9dpo and usually they say the faintest line is usually only visible from 10dpo? So I reckon you should try again tomorrow or Monday and watch for your BFP!
Funny you should say that about DH, when I told mine about the BFP, that was one of the first things he said after- 'I was beginning to think I had no swimmers and you'd be better off finding someone who did' ..... Bloody mental eh?!
Sorry about your BFN as well lala - how long have you been trying?

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 04/03/2017 08:30

Thank you for the kind words Dolly. How did you tell DH in the end? Sorry if I missed you talking about this, have had a mad week!!!

BellaMoon · 04/03/2017 08:31

@salem aww your DH must be feeling down about the TTC journey, it's so easy to just focus on ourselves isn't it. do you k ow Boots do a sperm fertility test thingy? my DH bought 1 when i got my OPKs but we'd just DTD and he decided to do his test right after, he's as impatient as me, and the test was a dud as his doreen's were too new! x

BellaMoon · 04/03/2017 08:33

@lala sorry about your BFN, cd30 of a normal 24/28 day cycle is strange so don't count yourself out til AF arrived. sorry to be rude if you'd rather not say but what age are you? i once heard a 26yo say "i'm hardly a spring chicken" #swiftthroatpunch xx

lalathebear · 04/03/2017 08:33

Dolly we are on cycle 20 of trying so nearly two years with the bitch laughing at us. At first I put it down to ebf but now DS is over 2 and I've been told that it won't make a difference now. Yes he's still bf Confused

lalathebear · 04/03/2017 08:36

Bella I'm 35 but had serious eating disorders 6/7yrs ago and they said I would never have children. I had one without trying (first time my boyfriend and I slept together 😬) and so decided after he was born to start trying again just in case. 20mths on and we are still waiting.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 04/03/2017 08:46

Sorry to hear about cycle 20 lala. You are such a strong person to be keeping your PMA!

Bella ooo I am going to have a look at that! Do they have to have 'brewed' (sorry!!!) for a few days?

Roseandbee · 04/03/2017 08:49

Morning allFlowers

Salem 9dpo is super early you may have only just implanted which would explain the spotting.
www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test/dpo-chart.php?dpo=9
I wouldn't count any negatives till at least 12dpo and then I'd still have hope as you could be one of the lucky ones that get tortured getting bfns for another week after their missed period :-/

Lala have you had the hycosy yet? Or do you mean just the blood tests? I had my first appointment last month with the fertility consultant

lalathebear · 04/03/2017 08:52

Roseandbee this will be our first appt. we've only had blood tests, scans, some horrific smear test with a needle, and Doreen tests.

BellaMoon · 04/03/2017 08:53

@salem here it is. i can't remember what the instructions are as i was ordered out the room once my services were no longer required 🙈 but we had only DTD about 3 hours before so DH mumbled something about day old doreen's.

@lala you are not getting on a bit in age at all. i know that eating disorders can affect fertility BUT you've proved you can as you have a DC so who's to say you're not fertile? you're age is just fine my dear 👍🏼 have you been tracking ovulation with OPKs? x

#comeondoreen #pma3allthewaytobfp
Anna2006 · 04/03/2017 08:53

Boo about BFN @Salem

Agree with the others though. Hold out and test again maybe Monday morning. Could just be too early!

lala does seems like your cycles are fairly regular. Could just be a random slighter longer month which normally happens cos you ovulate a bit later than usual.

6DPO here today...bored of this waiting game. Just implant already egg! AF due to appear a week today. Nothing exciting or different to report though. I feel 'normal'

Xxx

Roseandbee · 04/03/2017 09:20

Lala Im not worried about you, the fact you have DS suggest everything is in order and I'm presuming all your tests have come back fine so far. The whole infertility classifications are a bit BS in my opinion. They need to think of a better word, all it mean is that you've been trying for long enough for the NHS to be willing to spend some money on you. Until they look inside you and are like "oh you don't have any ovaries" it doesn't count. It's all just about odds, if you've only got a 20% chance each month(if you've timed everything perfectly) it isn't surprising that some people have to wait a lot longer for their winning ticket

BellaMoon · 04/03/2017 09:23

@rose here here i'll 2nd that 👏🏼👏🏼

@anna isn't the 2ww just the pits 😫

veegstez · 04/03/2017 09:25

Good morning everyone :) congratulations on the bfps both! Fingers crossed there are more to come!

Ttc #1
34
C1
Cycles 24-29 days
Bfp due maybe 21-25/3

I bought some opks so going to use them this month.

Moo31 · 04/03/2017 09:29

Aw Salem no :( 9dpo might be a bit early though. If you look up "bfp strips dpo" on Google people have only started to track from 10 dpo. You're not out til your out - stay positive! Smile

notparticularlypatient · 04/03/2017 09:58

Having a busy week at work and we are already far into a new thread! Ant two bfps, hurrah and congrats! Salem, agree with others that 9 dpo is too early, a negative doesn't mean much. Fx for a bfp for you in a couple of days!

Stats: ttc #3
Cycle 5ish
Bfp due approx. 22.3 (long and varying cycles)

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 04/03/2017 10:03

Thank you Moo, the dpo BFP images are helpful. How many dpo were you?

Thank you as well patient. Your username is so apt for me right now 😂.

DH has just been on the phone to his DM quizzing her about his OP. She said the medical advice was that it would not stop fertility but it could have an effect. So that's a bit of positivity Smile.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 04/03/2017 10:03

Ps I'm off to do the food shop, list will be here this afternoon including a new GRADUATES section!!!!

BellaMoon · 04/03/2017 10:22

@moo which RLT did you drink? i would normally go to holland & barrett but just wondered if that's too commercial and there's a more organic/wholesome place to get it? i hadn't read it was a fertility aid, only ever read about it being good in later stages of pregnancy. thanks for this tip 👍🏼

so far on my shopping list for today is:-

RLT
preseed
conception boosting vitamins for DH and I
pineapple 🍍
prosecco (for watching boxing tonight) 🍾

Happy saturday you sexy bunch of babes - it's new hair cut/colour for me today #newme #shorthairdontcare #loveya
