Ahhhhh ok. Thank you ladies. We've been DTD every day/ every other day if we have a minute. In other words it's not been very scientific we just start from when AF buggers off and fit it in around when the midget is asleep 😆

@lala i live about 15 miles outside glasgow city centre. the ayrshire coast is lovely. i'm love a wee day trip to Edinburgh too.

bella ask away!! I always used to love when people would give tips or info about what they did in the month they conceived! Gave me hope and new ideas!
This cycle, I used OPKs as I did the previous cycle. I'd been following the SMEP plan but didn't start until CD9 instead of 8 so DTD CD9, 11, 13, got my positive line on CD 14 in the evening so made sure I DTD in the morning of CD15 and then again at nighttime of CD16 so we did do it two days on the trot but cos of the timings of the day, it was almost like every second day still? Which I fully believe is better than every day (for us!)
I also used the preseed on CD13, 15, & 16. 2mls and lay in my bed for 20mins afterwards. Still leaked like hell afterwards and next morning sorry TMI
We didn't DTD after CD16 for ages, prob until CD 20!
Symptoms wise, I'd been cramping since ovulation really, became really bloated as I was so constipated! Felt slightly nauseous at times but nowhere near as much as I have done before AF. Increased creamy CM and no spotting at all. My boobs have never hurt or enlarged and I haven't been too tired or too moody. So far....
I can almost convince myself that BFP was a fluke....

Sarah no no no! I thought we would get a hat trick on 3/3! :( Salem sorry to hear your news too :( but one month closer ladies :)

We did loads of new stuff this month (and said if we got our bfp we wouldn't know which one it was lol!):

• started smep and dtd cd8,10,12 then missed 14 and 16 cos I was away but did 17,18 (and 19 I think). I think this definitely kept the doreens turning over and looking at the calculators I think I ov on day 17 so i tbink we just caught it!
• oh read somewhere that I need to orgasm twice as this helps the doreens (wasn't new this month but we made sure we got them in before the doreens were released!)
• I drank 2 x raspberry leaf tea every day from cd3 to cd14 (1 1st thing and 1 after dinner) - helps the egg stick apparently
• we started taking the tesco conception support duo vitamins
• we used conceive plus

Oh thinks is was the conceive plus. I think it was a combination! He's also convinced that the number 23 has something to do with it - he lives by this number (we nearly didn't buy our house as it wasn't no23!) So today's date 3+3+17=23 and our due date is 12 November so 12+11=23.

Also we dtd last thing at night, probably averages about 20 mins (haven't got the stamina for any longer haha!) and then I put bum up under 4 x pillows probably for at least half an hour (sometimes more depending on what time it was / how tired I was) then ease them out and go to sleep (without going to the loo - bit icky but it was a sacrifice I was willing to make!)

Regarding SMEP... and day counts...

I've never been late before really so does everything shift along from when af arrives? Tomorrow should be CD4 but will be either CD1 or CD30 so does that make ovulation later too like normal and do I reset the calendar?

I've not been late like this before so don't know how it works. Considering how long we've been ttc I'm rubbish 😂

Hi lala yes cd1 is the first day of af then start counting your cycle again from there
