Just had the scan... apparently all looking ok for just under 5 weeks. There is a small yolk sack and a good sized gestational sack.

I have to come back for a repeat scan in 2 weeks to see the heartbeat hopefully.

Oh durez I'm so pleased all is looking ok. Quite a difficult scan at 5 weeks my midwife friend says as lots of mums expect more than they can see. We just would like to fast forward to 20 weeks when scans are more clear visually.

Checked cervix and it's not high it's kinda in the middle. So not conclusive either way! Are u testing again?

Tee oooh excited for your testing. My temp only 36:32 today so it's kind of middle been pretty consistent around this mark for over a week! Yes going to wait til after the weekend. I don't want to throw any good chances away or have AF whilst away. So now hoping AF stays away..

Please God it is. I just can't bear it much longer. We couldn't have DTD more than we did over FW. Just feel like I must be the problem, DH's SA was good, and I know I'm ovulating regularly... just feel like my body is not interested in progressing pregnancies. App with GP on the 30th to discuss concerns and see if I can be referred back to the assisted conception unit. I'm seriously thinking about private ivf if it's still not happening at the back end of 2017. Feeling pretty depressed right now.

Oh @Tee4me I know what you are going through because a very good friend has been through it and I saw how difficult it has been for them.

Stocked up on ginger biscuits. Testing with my digi tomorrow as I will officially be late. Though I'm thinking it might be better not to - what if it's negative and so a chemical is coming? Do I want to know and be devastated before work??

Great news on the scan durez!! I know yours wasn't quite for this reason... but I am thinking maybe an early scan around 8 weeks as I would hate to not know until 12 weeks that there was a major problem!!!

DH is being a bit quiet but I thought he was really sweet... well I always do! He's even made excuses so we avoid going to his parents' house for a boozy weekend this weekend! He's a keeper...

Can you do a Digi tonight @physicskate ? I have done all mine in the late afternoon / early evening as think once you get a positive it doesn't matter what time you do it. I did an IC last night that I found in the bottom of a drawer and the test line came up before the control line.

I have told a few people now about my pregnancy due to my job.

It's the one with the weeks counter thingy so I think I would freak out if I used a dilute sample and it came up with fewer weeks than it should! If I saw 1-2 I would completely panic! I'm debating not doing it at all...

I beliege I am on cd 7 now and we've dtd 2 times since coming off after.
Plan is to just dtd as and when but when Fw arrives I'm gonna not tell dp so there's no pressure and just casually look alot more foxy hahahahaha

@physicskate mine came up at 1-2 weeks the afternoon AF was due.

Sounds like a great start @Mamabooksbabynumber2! Good to keep pressure off DH if you can and are feeling relaxed enough about timings.
After 15 cycles DH and I pretty much check out our diaries when AF lands to check we've got enough time together during FW! Luckily it hasn't gotten too much of a chore, and we agree it's the only positive to ttc dragging. FW definitely brings us closer together these days.

@Tee4me I think you have a very positive attitude to TTC and I find that it suggests your husband / partner have a strong and supportive relationship which you should be very proud of.

Here's a positive story for you. Some people we know tried for 2 years, followed by 3 cycles of IVF which were unsuccessful. They started the adoption process and just before the panel she felt really sick and couldn't understand why she kept going light headed. Then she realised that she had missed a period... she was pregnant, naturally, and now have a beautiful 2 year old son!

kate remember CBD measures from date of conception not from date of last menstrual period (which is was medics will use) so it'll be earlier than the "usual" scale. It explains on the instructions though.

There was a lady on tv who conceived triplets with ivf, then fell naturally a year later, so ended up with x4 tots in the space of 2 years! Talk about going from one extreme to the other!
You have a 5 year old DD don't you? My DS is 4 and will definitely be at least 5 when next DC arrives. I was stressing about the age gap at first, but I'm coming round to the idea of having a helpful older sibling now. Plus I'll have lots of time with baby as DS will be at school too, although I don't want him to feel he's being replaced. He's desperate for a sibling. He talks a lot about babies these days. When will you tell DD your news?!

So mine's also showed 1-2 weeks around missed period date then few days later test showed 2-3 weeks and one week after first test it read 3+. There's a conversion chart in the box.

Oh no so sorry tee that AF showed. You must feel really disappointed. Come on we can do another cycle and get our bfp soon.

Bought a pineapple 🍍 today! Getting back on eating properly. Diet went out of window with the metformin as could only eat brown bread and porridge. Body slowly getting use to it now but still can't eat a lot of meats or sugar. Not a bad thing I guess.

@Tee4me my daughter is 5 so she will be almost 6 when this one arrives. I had decided I just wanted one but my husband has siblings (I am an only child) and he really wanted my DD to have a brother or sister.

We have actually already told her. I know it's very early but with my job I have had to tell people and I hated the thought of other people knowing before her.

I've also just done the Digi hoping it would be 3+ (should have waited til sat when I did the last one) and it still said 2-3!

Have you tested with anything other than the Digi?

Not for three days. The regular cb and frer came up within the the time. The cb was very clear! So I only have an ic in and haven't tested with that... might try it tomorrow. Feeling cramps and inconsolable.

Kate if no bleed then it shouldn't be a chemical. A frer is much earlier to test with than the cb ones. And two tests before can't be both wrong? Maybe you implanted late? For peace of mind I'd get another frer.
So sorry Kate that this has now stolen your joy and replaced with worry. Have faith that it's just the silly cb tests. Keep rubbing those boobs if it reassures you that they still hurt. Xxx

Oh Kate how confusing and upsetting. Try to stay positive and relaxed (easier said I know). Got everything crossed for you that this this is a sticky one.
DuRez you're still a couple of days away from being a week later that your last CB, I'm sure all is progressing well as per your early scan.

kate sorry for the stress you're going through. I would buy a cbd normal that you got a clear result on and do that to see what's going on. Once period is late there is no need to use FMU but even then you could not go to the loo until lunchtime so it's still concentrated. The cbd weeks inductor hcg chart states it starts at 10 HCG not sure what the cbd pregnant/not pregnant one is
