@Footy1 is he a Dalmatian?

Footy1 · 04/05/2017 14:19

Yes a Dalmatian 8 weeks old @durezidal
How u doing? Apparently they are good with horses!? He's adorable and very playful. I'm exhausted!Confused

Hey mama I'm good, glad in a way that af is here. At least I know what day I'm on.
Fingers crossed for you, keep us posted.

DuRezidal · 04/05/2017 22:16

He is gorgeous, it makes me all broody.

I have a year old pointer and we hope to breed from her in the next few years. I had her great aunt who we unfortunately had to say goodbye to last year so this little girl is very special to me. She comes everywhere with me, we are hardly ever apart! And she adores my daughter too.

I am ok thanks. Finally the exhaustion has eased and I am back in the gym! I had my 12 weeks scan and so far all looks normal, which is good, and they rough my EDD to 11th November. We are still awaiting the blood results from the combined screening so still a little nervous even though the nuchal was absolutely fine.

physicskate · 04/05/2017 22:24

Durez that's amazing, especially given all the uncertainty so early on... very pleased for you.

So I crashed my car first thing this morning and feel a total muppet. It was all downhill from there. Knees hurt a bit from hitting the steering column... then I got in trouble at work for something that I didn't actually mess up. It's been a bad day...

Fw starts in a few days...

Footy1 · 04/05/2017 22:58

Durez that's so lovely with your pointer, lovely dog too. Love the scan picture also. I'm so relieved it's all going well.
My boys make him a bit hyper but he's only a puppy so he has that playful energy.

Kate - oh dear, sounds like that's a pretty bad day!! Tomorrow's a new day, and hope you have a good weekend to make up for it. Hope you are feeling ok about ttc. Such a long journey this has become for all of us. Confused

Hope you are ok Tee, jam, Mimi, nim & mama and anyone else I've missed off xx

Tee4me · 05/05/2017 08:06

Hey everybody,
Footy he is absolutely adorable!! Definitely a good distraction from ttc.
I will 100% drop the aspirin if not successful again. Just hope if there were negative effects that all goes back to normal when I stop it... I have dropped down to every other day as they say you shouldn't stop suddenly. Due AF on Monday and have been feeling moody and crampy.
DuRez so lovely to see a healthy scan! Will you be finding out the sex?
Kate hope you have a better day today, it has to be, it's Friday!!!

Tee4me · 05/05/2017 08:16

PS. I've heard good things about nettle tea, so have started to drink that as frequently as possible!

physicskate · 05/05/2017 20:59

Maybe I should get a dog too...

Just got a text saying my SIL is in labour... the one who missed two pills and already has two kids. She's my age. I had a chemical about the same time (three weeks before) she fell. So I'm kinda a mess. MIL doesn't know we've been ttc. I knew it was coming, but I feel like I've had the breath knocked out of my. I'm a mess.

Was also on FaceTime with my sisters son who's two and he was calling me mummy because I look and sound like my sister. I feel like the earth could just swallow me up...

Foot I think I'm going to follow your plan and throw everything at this next cycle. This was meant to be my relaxed cycle. Hell haven't even Dtd yet!

Footy1 · 07/05/2017 02:41

Tee how u feeling? Any Pre- AF signs? Are you testing tomorrow or going to ride it out and be late. Sounds like you are in for a good chance this cycle. Def think wean off the aspirin though. You don't want to unnecessarily be taking stuff long term if it's not helping. Maybe just cut down.
Any nose bleeds?

Oh Kate, sorry this is all happening now around you and I know it's the last thing you need but all this is going to make you stronger to fight. It will happen for you, you have been almost there.. so you can do what u can do right now. I know you must be feeling really low about it all and at times it hits us all. It's really helped me having a distraction so maybe it's what u need too: it's not going to help your cycle being upset, so maybe focus attention on something else. Let it just all carry on in the background. How are you and Dh? Has he supported u much through the cp? Does he know you are so upset.

This will all be a distant memory soon, and you will have your geek hat on again working out probability of a boy or girl pretty soon! Big smiles Grin big hug Smileand a big glass of wineWine take care my friend.

Hey jam how's things your end? Where are u at? Did u look into clomid?

Mimi hope u are well. My boys are lovin the pup. It really has brought back that feeling of being a new mum adjusting to nor much sleep and constantly on the go. Dh been a bit stressed with work recently so feel like I've got a big child to look after also. We are fine, but I'm running around like a headless chicken trying to do this and that so the house is still functioning! Puppy training is hard going.. hats off to anyone who's done this! Love him to bits though!

Cd6Star my program of dtd kicks in soon.. has a couple weeks off so Dh is very hungry for it Wink. I'm still rattling, and the pomegranate juice quite nice! Really fancy some Brazil nuts too so must remember to buy some, I use to really like the yoghurt ones.

Tee4me · 07/05/2017 08:44

Morning Footy! Sounds like you've been keeping very busy! That was a late/early post, couldn't you sleep?! Good to keep DH in suspense, make sure he delivers when it matters! So many pregnancies and new babies around at the moment! A friend of mine who is now 11 weeks revealed they only DTD CD14 & CD15. Kate hope you can just zone them all out. It's so hard coping with ttc difficulties when there are so many 'successes' around. You will have your own success story to tell eventually.
Spent yesterday with my 3month old nephew, God he makes me broody. Doesn't help that my DS really adores him too, I desperately want to give him a sibling.
I'm really focusing on the aspirin factor being the key to my success, it helps me to feel like I have an answer!! Have to stay positive.
I've been feeling horrendously crampy since Thursday. It's not usually this bad. Constant knicker watch, feeling very much like it'll come any minute. Having said that, I may be tempted to test with FMU tomorrow because we're swimming in the afternoon.

Footy1 · 07/05/2017 13:14

Fingers crossed if u do tee. I slept on sofa last night as the puppy has been needing a wee every few hours! So was standing in my pyjamas in the garden with him and thought I'd write that post. Ha ha I'm so tired! Popped out today for a couple of hours and came home to two half eaten homework folders! Ooops

physicskate · 07/05/2017 14:41

'My dog ate my homework' the oldest trick in the book! Haha foot!!

Cd 13 so fw should be approaching... not doing bbt or opks this cycle to get a bit of a break. Trying to figure out what I'm going to do about next cycle... weight watchers has been a wonderful distraction/ new obsession for me! Feeling a bit like I've given up which strangely makes me more positive... it's never gonna happen and that sucks but is not the end of the world - lots of others have it worse. I think it's one of the stages of grief??

Footy1 · 08/05/2017 15:18

Seriously he did! KateGrinI think you are doing very well. W/w a good thing, you can also get the app on your phone. Do u have a Fitbit? I use that and give myself a daily target of steps per day. Keeps me on my toes.
*
Tee,* did u test??

Tee4me · 08/05/2017 21:34

I use the app MyFitnessPal to keep on top of calories, find it really helpful!
Yes I tested which I HATE! BFN of corse, but no AF yet, so now I'm torturing myself thinking about late implantation blah blah blah! Having said that, if I hadn't tested I'd really have my hopes up by now, as my cramps have died down and it's very unusual for me not to start on time, especially as I started cramping last Thursday. I'm 14dpo tho and used a clear blue digital (can test 5 days early), so really have to expect AF any minute. Expect a CD1 post from me tomorrow!!
How is everyone?

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 09/05/2017 07:00

CD 1 (again) which is now cycle 4. Plus all the previous months we were trying last year.
On a posi5ive note it means I can drink Lucozade when I'm studying Today!

Tee4me · 09/05/2017 07:35

I'm with you Mama! CD1 here, losing track of cycles now, think 18 in total, but 6 since my last MC. Saying goodbye to aspirin and epo, I've decided they are not my friends!

Mamabooksbabynumber2 · 09/05/2017 17:07

Sorry to hear that tee

It's crazy that we gave so much u protected sex and not be pregnant BrewSad

Footy1 · 09/05/2017 20:44

Oh no sorry mama & tee. FlowersWineBrew
Xx

Tee4me · 09/05/2017 21:00

I've said it before but I'll say it again; I'm never going back on contraception!! IF we ever manage to conceive DC#2, fate can decide if we'll get a DC#3! As you say Mama, soooooo much unprotected sex (at the right time!!) but still waiting 😩

Footy1 · 10/05/2017 07:51

I know, I kick myself too time and time again. There should be a tv documentary to show the trials and tribulations of ttc after contraception. It's definitely not explained properly.

Cd9Star EWCM last night. So hoping body is gearing up. Still no twinges or cramps? Wondering if this a good thing that things are getting back to normal or not? Before my boys I never felt ovulation.. whereas the last year I've had horrendous cramping every few weeks trying to ovulate. Just don't know.. maybe I have no eggs left?

Tee4me · 10/05/2017 22:19

There should be much more awareness. Alex Jones did a documentary about ttc, but there should more of this kind of thing exploring fertility issues and also highlighting about secondary infertility. I have a friend who only had one child and could never conceive again, i feel scared about this happening for me. I think it's overlooked because people assume if it's happened once it can happen again, and also that you should be grateful/satisfied that you at least have a child/children. I do understand the latter point, especially from those suffering with primary infertility.

I'm so annoyed with myself for not trying again sooner.
I've started following Izzy Judd (Harry from McFly's wife) on Facebook. She faced fertility issues and has written a book and does some Facebook live talks. Keep seeing interviews on daytime TV with celebrities who have faced multiple miscarriages and infertility, definitely plenty of material out there for more documentaries.

Footy have you been scanned for fibroids or cysts on ovaries? My friend took a year to conceive while she was experiencing cysts, but then fell first month trying for DC#2, I guess they can come and go?

Londonjam · 11/05/2017 10:40

Hi girls how are you all doing?

I'm fine. I had my HSG on Tuesday and tubes were clear. Got my positive OPK yesterday and DTD! We had been banned from sex before the HSG so we both really quite enjoyed it Wink

Will see what happens.

Tee I think primary and secondary infertility are probably equally painful. I don't feel envy that some of you guys have children already and I know that I want more than one. It must be really hard knowing the age gap grows the longer it takes too. I think having one though is probably a good distraction! I only have the cat. And DH lol

Londonjam · 11/05/2017 10:42

Kate Sadsorry things are so tough at the moment. I would really struggle if any of my siblings fell pregnant

Footy your puppy sounds adorable! Have you shared any pics?

Footy1 · 11/05/2017 12:53

Yes been tested for a lot of things tee including cysts and fibroids but was clear. They gave me a scan last May.
Cd10, Still no twinges? Really odd.

Glad it went well jam tubes are clear. They were going to do an hcg on me but I had a chemical so they said tubes must be fine.
What's your next step? Did u consider trying clomid? The pomegranate juice has good reviews, it's rather nice. Tried it with soda too and yummy!
