Just did. Negative? Was a cheapie Tesco blue dye. There was a bit of a horizontal line but positive is a vertical line.

No sore boobs and everything smells normal (two of my main symptoms.

Really not sure what to do. I feel so nauseous and light headed.

physicskate · 19/03/2017 15:26

Oh and curiously my bbt is still above cover line.

Footy1 · 19/03/2017 15:42

Don't want to worry u kate but is it not worth going to A&E to get checked? Just worried for you that it might be an ectopic pregnancy. I've not heard of cp's to be like that before. I've had one and it went unnoticed. Maybe other ladies might know?

Great news durez well done

On route back from weekend away so will reply properly later x

physicskate · 19/03/2017 16:08

Even when I did have positive tests that then turned negative?? I hate to cause bother for no reason... especially if it just turns out I have tummy bug or something. And I know how pressed A & E is... and that I wouldn't probably get back home til midnight... and then I wouldn't be ready for work tomorrow....

Bleeding has stopped?? So it lasted about 48 hours. Normal period doesn't last much longer (maybe a day more), but at the beginning it was so heavy I went through a pad in an hour... sorry tmi. I was thinking the blood loss might be causing the dizziness/ faintness but I took a couple of iron tablets yesterday to help...

I don't want to waste anyone's time! Including all of yours! Arg! I feel like such a lame drama queen. I am normally a hypochondriac so I'm a bit worried this is me being that!

Kiki18 · 19/03/2017 16:33

Kate - why don't you ring 111 and get some advice, they will direct you on to a+e if that's what is needed. Do this k you should get yourself checked out especially feeling so unwell alongside the previous bleeding xx

physicskate · 19/03/2017 18:26

Thanks for that advice Kiki. They advised me to see my GP tomorrow. So I feel better that this is not too serious... maybe just a tad peculiar... I guess I just needed someone to say 'this is not just all in your head, but it's not serious enough for something drastic like A & E". Which, at the weekends, what other option is there?

Kiki18 · 19/03/2017 18:54

Glad you got some reassurance - it's only through working for the NHS I've learnt what's about. I don't know if it's the same in your area but down south there are quite a few minor injury units, urgent care centres or walk in centres and you can always go to these places they are similar to an a+e but for the not so serious stuff. 111 know them all so I'd always advise as a back up to call them xx

DuRezidal · 19/03/2017 18:55

I would probably go to urgent care tomorrow morning @physicskate as they can usually take bloods etc.

physicskate · 19/03/2017 19:07

The nearest urgent care is nearly 15 miles away... so a bit of a hike! A & E is a lot closer... But I think I'm just going to see what the GP says tomorrow. I don't feel well at all... but it doesn't feel like an emergency either (though that is something I really really want to avoid).

Footy1 · 19/03/2017 20:15

Kate don't worry you are not wasting our time. It's totally normal to worry. I'm so sorry this has happened to you. It's really not nice, especially feeling ill on top of it. Look after yourself and rest up if u can xx

Mama AF still not here for me. Cd38! My goodness I almost lost track. Ridiculous that my body is refusing to ovulate! Just want to start a fresh cycle.

Hoping it will be soon.. had a lovely romantic weekend away with lots of sperm shooting Blush so just need the egg to arrive!! LolGrin

Londonjam · 19/03/2017 21:29

Kate your not being dramatic at all. Best to err on side of caution when you know you've experienced a very recent mc. Please make sure your oh is keeping a close eye on you. Let us know how you get on tomorrow

MotherOfBeagles · 19/03/2017 22:17

Sorry been silent so long ladies! Just spent ages catching up sounds like there's been a right rollercoaster going on!

I'm so sorry kate that you're going through this. When I had my cp I had all the same symptoms you're having for days. I remember vividly because it was the weekend of my brothers wedding and it was just awful. Make sure you are looking after yourself and if still no better go get checked!

jam sounds like a great improvement for your dh I really hope it gets going soon Wink. I know everyone has these stories but one of my closest friends went for ivf with all three of her daughters and found out she was pregnant a week or day before they implanted each time. Her eldest has just found out she's pregnant the week before she had her first scheduled ivf appointment. So it definitely does happen!

Sorry for those with bfps I really really am sending happy thoughts your way for them to change around.

Hope all the grads are doing well. Someone suggested setting up a square one grads antenatal group do we want to? Not that want to move away from you ladies just an extra space.

I'm doing ok. Had an early scan that confirmed me at 7+1 with a lovely fat sticky bean with a beating heart last Monday so now at 8. The technician laughed and said that bean is already big for the stage which was great lol now I'm having nightmares of giant babies - I was 10lb 8 for my mums first Blush Not been sick but definite nausea and food aversions. The fatigue is killing me. Been in bed by 8 every night. Not feeling as bad today (obviously as still awake) but feeling very detached and numb - is that normal?

OP posts:
physicskate · 20/03/2017 10:16

That is quite reassuring mob.

Just got back from the GP. He said it was normal to feel dizzy nauseous etc even though it's all over. Take it easy for a couple of days.

He also said they won't do any tests (or jack shit) until I have another miscarriage or we try for ANOTHER 12 months (even though we have been trying for 12 months). Life is feeling really shit today. I wish this chemical hadn't happened!!!!!!!!!!!

radderss · 20/03/2017 10:44

Hi Kate, sorry to hear about your chemical. It's a horrible feeling when that happens.

I had a chemical and fell pregnant a couple of months later so don't lose faith. When I was reading all about it I had read it's your body preparing to carry a baby. Who knows if that's true but I just tried to think about that and have hope for the next few cycles.

Watching this thread and being part of it has made me realise how many people have miscarriages. It's quite shocking. They need more support for it I think xx

physicskate · 20/03/2017 10:50

It's the whole fact that they won't even do a blood test to see if low progesterone has caused it... it took 12 months for two chemicals. I just want feel like the last year has been worth it. It hasn't been.

MotherOfBeagles · 20/03/2017 12:00

That's really shit kate that have to wait another year! Pretty much what the doc said to me about investigations into the cp though it's so frustrating. Hope things are easing a bit, really do look after yourself it takes a toll. I ended up stealing some of my mums pain meds (she has the good stuff lol).

Also yes definitely need more support for miscarriages! It's far more common than people think I'm sure.

OP posts:
physicskate · 20/03/2017 12:08

So im literally back to square one. It's like we haven't been trying for a year which is the frustrating part. I feel like an absolute failure... and the gps just sweep it under the carpet...

And then there's the cp, which I was feeling a bit sad but ok about. My head is a massive mindfuck right now...

MotherOfBeagles · 20/03/2017 12:24

You're not a failure, I know it's not easy to stop those thoughts but really you aren't. Just keep telling yourself that something worked and maybe it wasn't right his time but you know now that it can. New job, trying new things it's helping! Also ignore the gp in my experience they're usually either fab or shit and in the end stick to their tick boxes. I am surprised that they've essentially put you back to square one again. When you're feeling more yourself might be worth going back and seeing another and challenging that?

OP posts:
Footy1 · 20/03/2017 13:04

Kate, so sorry to hear what you are going through. I don't have a good experience with gps either. Not very helpful at times.
If you would like bloods done, I know a website that do them online. It costs £25.
Self finger test. They send u the test, you send them the blood and they then send u results. Think it's next day delivery on kit and about a week for test results. It is a legitimate company. Loads from the clomid thread use them.. you can also buy clomid & other stuff on there. If you want details I'll send it to you in a private message.
I haven't used them, but lots have. One lady on there did the test online and then got a form from her gp also so she ended up doing both (good way to check it was accurate) and it was. So proof it works.

Either that or you go private. I only got mine done as I told them i wasn't ovulating and worried I was in menopause - they did it 3 times then to check!

Footy1 · 20/03/2017 13:06

Nice to hear from you beagles, glad to hear your bean is doing well. Let's hope u don't have a 10/11lb baby! Might hurt a tad Wink
Yes I never puked with my boys just felt dreadful. Hopefully will ease in a few weeks. You will feel like u never will feel normal again but you will. Look after yourself.. are u going to find out the sex? Xx

Footy1 · 20/03/2017 13:08

Oh and radders hello! Hope I are your little boy are doing well. Yes I agree I never really thought about miscarriages until being online. Scary.. and not enough support from the healthcare system.

Tee4me · 20/03/2017 13:12

Kate I'm so with you there. This time last year I'd had my first miscarriage. I was gutted but remember expecting I'd fall quickly again and have a baby or at least a very large bump a year on... little did I know I'd be absolutely no further on, it's so depressing.
I'm going back to my GP next week, but I'm not particularly hopefully of any help. We did the SA privately. If they can't refer me to a specialist on NHS, I will do that privately too. I can't face waiting much longer.

physicskate · 20/03/2017 13:21

And he wouldn't even look me in the eye as he was telling me to just give it another 12 months or to wait for another miscarriage. But I didn't let him see me cry.

Foot - I would really like to take you up on your offer. I know I won't do it right away... but I would like to check progesterone after ov to see if it's on the low side (as I am pretty sure that I do ov with all the checks I do.

Maybe I'll just get another cat.

MotherOfBeagles · 20/03/2017 13:42

kate when you are feeling more yourself go back and see another gp. This guy sounds useless. At least then you can tell yourself that you're doing all you can. Also that blood test thing sounds good footy. Do you take evening primrose oil? Just been reading about it and it sounds very similar to what I used to get a lot after ovulation. Epo helps thicken lining and all that shiz. Something cheap and easy can pick up and try.

tee I'm really sorry you're having to wait =[ hope your gp is helpful!

footy what support from the healthcare system? Seriously I haven't seen anyone I know get any help for mc it's disgusting. Hoping the no puking thing lasts the nausea is definitely worse when I'm working or after work - think the tiredness kicks in and makes it worse. Definitely going to find out the sex but have a lot of witchy women in my friends and family. Three of them dreamt when I'd get my bfp down to the right week and they keep dreaming boys. They also get phantom pregnancies and labour pains when a woman in the family is pregnant so creepy but handy lol. They've never got the sex wrong yet!

Sorry for what you are going through @kate .hope you are at least feeling better physically. Some of these doctors are outright cruel. they don't seem to have a human side in them . you got to be hopeful though.
