Tested this morning with Tesco and negative again. Aaaaargh this is SO frustrating 😡

mrsjkerry · 28/02/2017 07:57

Tuxie have you ever been 4/5 days late before?

OP posts:
tuxie11 · 28/02/2017 08:10

mrsj no, but then I've only been off the pill for once cycle where I was regular, so I suppose I can't tell. I do think it's just my body regulating, I'm happy for AF to come I think and we can get back to it. At least next cycle I won't be stressing after 28 days!

MistyBxx · 28/02/2017 10:28

Tuxie when I came off the pill end of Aug, I had one period as normal in my week's break, then another one 29 days later, and another one 29 days later again, I thought ooooh lovely, despite coming off, my cycles haven't changed! Then I took pregnacare conception tablets... and had a 38 day cycle! And they've fluctuated between 28 and 31 days since. So don't know if you've been taking any supplements?? That could be messing with your cycle, or if not, it could just be coz your body is settling after the pill. Try not to worry but keep testing coz end of the day, af hasn't arrived so you are technically late 😍

tuxie11 · 28/02/2017 10:45

Thanks misty Flowers I've only been taking folic acid tablets - not sure if that would mess or not? They're only from tescos.

You're right I'm not out yet - I do feel like it might happen today or tomorrow which I'm fine about. The sooner the better, as I'd rather have an early dec DD than late 😉

MistyBxx · 28/02/2017 10:46

Also, got some crampy pains today, very low down, feels almost like a stitch or wind right in the middle of the pelvic area. Feeling pretty grumpy lol af due thurs and although I KNOW we didn't dtd anywhere near enough, or on the right days, I haven't had any symptoms nor have I been spotting any but there's always a teeny bit in the back of your mind when you're ttc of like "what if...?" And now even though I've been fine throughout my whole 2ww coz of our pathetic attempts during fw, now af is actually on its way, can't help feeling a bit down 😔

MistyBxx · 28/02/2017 10:47

No folic acid are fine, I'm on them too :)

tuxie11 · 28/02/2017 11:11

I completely get you! I have the same kinda - little low ache in the middle groin so hoping it's a matter of time!

But completely, there's always that 'oh I hope so!' thought in the back, that somehow it worked! I think I spend more time worrying there is something wrong now which is more stressful. I think I might take a step back from it all and just chill out. I hear that helps some people get it!

Pibbee · 28/02/2017 17:49

Hello can I join your merry band? I've lurked for a little while and have decided it's time to get involved!

Some info about me:

Age 36
Cycle 2 (although really not done it properly this time AT ALL
CD 14 I think

So yeah, we only just started with this whole TTC thing, I came off the pill in Dec so tbh things could still be all over the place cycle-wise. Was symptom spotting like a pro in cycle 1. Haven't done this time as haven't DTD enough at (have pretty much missed all the days this cycle I think, due to illness/tiredness/crazy amounts of work). Am trying to stay chilled out but I have absolutely zero patience!!!

Best of luck to all and lovely to 'meet' you!

tuxie11 · 28/02/2017 18:03

Hi pibbee welcome to the madness. in the same boat here, off the pill in December - I think one of the other ladies are too!Smile

Clacton · 28/02/2017 18:27

I managed to avoid testing this morning and think I've managed to get my head out of thinking I am pregnant this month. I'm annoyed though, I just want AF to turn up now. Think we are all feeling the same aren't we!
Saying all that, my OH went out on his lunch to buy new pregnancy tests! Tesco ones this time - don't say how sensitive they are though. Spent a good ten minutes explaining what that meant to him earlier ha ha. The stuff I've learnt since TTC is crazy. How do people do this by accident??? 😂

mrsjkerry · 28/02/2017 19:10

I don't think I will be able to hold off until AF is due. I've bought some tests and may have to do one tomorrow morning. It's a few days early but you never know...

OP posts:
tuxie11 · 28/02/2017 19:11

Clacton - haha yes we are! Instead of wishing for the BFP's we are wishing for AF! I got tescos ones yesterday - seemed ok! I'm not too bothered about the sensitivity - I'd rather know later then get a positive and then AF turn up.

Getting baby bombed left right and centre today. Might crawl in a hole 😂

Clacton · 28/02/2017 19:38

It's only my first cycle n it's already sending me nuts 😂
I'm definitely going to test tomorrow aren't I......

charl19 · 28/02/2017 20:17

Welcome Pibbee!

Misty and Tuxie - everything you said about symptom spotting, I have been doing exactly the same! Feel like I am more sensitive to smells than normal - but if I was pregnant it would surely be too early for that? Even though we are not actively trying I have definitely been sucked into it all and I am doing everything I promised myself I wouldn't! Blush AF due Thursday so definitely not testing until it doesn't come as think I am getting my hopes up too much - it is only my first month off the pill after all.

When is everyone else's AF due/when will you be testing? x

ttcnovice · 28/02/2017 20:23

Hi Pibbee welcome to the madness Smile

Marie90 · 28/02/2017 20:46

Hi guys, been away with work the last few days so haven't been checking in so much! Sorry to hear you're still on the dark Tuxie11 Fx you get a BFP soon... Or AF so at least you know where you stand!

Welcome Pibbee !

I've been pretty low on stuff to contribute the last few days too.. no real signs..I occasionally feel like I have a heightened sense of smell and the odd twinge but it's so few and far between that I'm pretty convinced AF is imminent on Friday 😔

Surely one of us needs to have some luck this month!!

tuxie11 · 28/02/2017 20:49

charl I think it's impossible NOT to spot! I do feel the same though, I do think that a few days past conception is probably too early to tell!

mrsj fx for a positive in the next few days

misty thanks lovely!

Think I'm gonna step back a bit - will check in and hope you get your BFP's! I feel like I'm stressing myself out by reading about it most days. Think I just need to chill the hell out and have a bit more fun with it Smile

Good luck ladies!

mrsjkerry · 28/02/2017 20:55

Advice needed please. I have two pregnancy tests to use this week. One is clearblue and one is early bird. They are both 25mlU/ml.

What does this actually mean? Does that mean it's particularly sensitive or not?

MistyBxx · 28/02/2017 22:21

Anything under 30 is considered pretty good mrsjkerry :)
