See I knew it, we have people from all over the country!
I would love to visit wales @misty but it's quite a trek for us! I speak to a lot of people at work from wales and they think I'm Scottish 🙈😂

Sooooo, this may be TMI but we've shared so much on here..... OH and I are finding it difficult to stop TTC as the sex is so good at the mo when he's y'know, finishing inside, rather than pulling out like we were. I've told him we need to stop it and put our sensible hats on like we agreed which he also said yes too but it just feels soooooo good we keep getting carried away 🙈

@crumpledhoodie I was yes, for 11 years and I came off to see what my periods were like which turns out not great! Not gonna bother as it's only gonna be around 6-9m before we start again and I don't wanna mess my body up even more than it already is

MistyBxx · 10/05/2017 09:33

I lived with a Newcastle girlie when I was a holiday rep! Love her! Love the accent. Everyone thought we sounded so alike, I think it's because south Welsh and Newcastle are both "singy songy" kind of accents see 😂 she came down for my wedding in September and it WAS a huge trek! Do it if you can though, it is beautiful here 😍

That made me LOL about the dtd... it is sooooo much better isn't it 😂🙈
My af is finished today. Literally spotting. So gonna start opk Sunday (cd10) and see how it goes... again 😳xx

Pibbee · 10/05/2017 09:41

I love the Geordie accent! Mine is dead boring.....Just Southern-sounding. I went to uni up north and loads of people said I was "well-spoken"....I dislike the fact that I don't really have an accent!

Back to the pee-sticks then @Misty.... I am not gonna do them this month but that's mostly cos I am away for the vital days so no bloody point! Grin

DP tried to jump me this morning but i had to fend him off cos it's full on AF....Feel a bit bad now cos I hate it when I'm up for it and he isn't. Oh well.

My really good mate is having IVF and is having embryoes put in today, so I have got everything crossed for her!

Pibbee · 10/05/2017 11:25

I have just downloaded the Ovia app as I have seen it mentioned in a lot of threads on here. Yay another means to obsess about all this! Grin. It's already telling me totally different FW days compared to Fertility Friend! Great!

ttcnovice · 10/05/2017 12:57

Hi everyone just catching up! You've all been chatting away so much yesterday Grin.

Twisted you look stunning in that photo! Your dress and bouquet are beautiful 😍.

Misty good luck OPK'ing! I know you love an excuse to POAS Grin.

Pibbee sorry AF arrived Flowers. Fingers crossed for your friend, that must be so hard for them!

Emma I'm a strong believer in things happening for a reason! So at the end of the day if you did conceive earlier than you planned, then there's a reason for it happening then! And you would make it work I'm sure Smile.

CD31 here and another BFN this morning, so don't know what's going on (as usual!). I'm only using IC's so I think I'll have to buy a FRER if AF still doesn't arrive tomorrow. The IC's are supposed to be the sensitive type but it won't do any harm to use a FRER apart from to my bank balance Grin.

Pibbee · 10/05/2017 14:22

@ttc thats annoying! But I had a random 30-day cycle a couple of months ago. Keep us posted!

Yeah i think it is very hard for my friend - her and her DH were trying for ages and nothing was happening, went for tests and it turns out that her tubes were destroyed by her appendix bursting when she was about 11!

Two more months for me and then I'll be off to the docs myself ( its recommended to go after 6 months not 12 if you are 35 or over....)

Flatwhite31 · 10/05/2017 16:59

I'd tell my DH where to go in the morning on a week day, LOL! I get up at 6am every day so I can get to school early to prepare for the day, do marking etc. Weekends are different though Wink. I'm not it at the moment with the spotting and sore throat (and work stress), but I reckon it'll be different in my FW. I was wanting it loads last month during that time! Apparently our bodies are designed to do that? So clever, although frustrating when it doesn't work!

Flatwhite31 · 10/05/2017 17:00

That should say I'm not into it!

Millie1994 · 10/05/2017 20:54

Hi everyone! Haven't been on for a little while as holidaying down in Cornwall at the moment 😄

I'm on CD29 but have got a pad on as feeling the early signs of AF starting, don't think this would be our month as we haven't really been trying as much as usual.

Love all the wedding dresses so gorgeous!

@Misty - I now read all your posts in a Welsh accent 🙈 Love it!

I'm from Folkestone in Kent, so right down South! So awesome how we are all spread round the place!

Forevertimes · 10/05/2017 21:30

I'm loving the wedding dress pictures!! You look lovely!

Well I moved from the West Midlands 2 years ago and I now live in the Middle East. So a long way from all of you and 2 hours ahead.

@flatwhite I'm also a primary teacher- we have 3 more teaching weeks left of this year and my voice is just about holding up at the moment!

Forevertimes · 10/05/2017 21:36

School starts at 6.30am here because of the heat so definitely not time to DTD in the morning, even though it's my favourite! Getting DH to wake up on time to drive me to school is hard enough haha

I'm cd25 and ovia says 9 more days until I can POAS but I'm not feeling overly hopeful this month, with the medication I was taking which said it makes conceiving more difficult. But we will see.

littleemma1 · 10/05/2017 22:12

@forever oh my goodness, you have to start work everyday at 6.30am?! 😱😱😱 I'd be dead. I do not do early mornings. Just don't speak to me before 8am, and especially don't speak to me if I haven't had breakfast!
@millie I was thinking that about @misty too!! Lol.
How long are your cycles normally? Could still be your month, when you think you've tried the least too!!
@pibbee, I do like that I have a strong accent actually. I work in a call centre (it's actually a good place to work! 😊) and it's the first thing people pick up on which is quite a good conversation starter.

Pibbee · 10/05/2017 23:19

@forevertimes where are you that starts school so early?

@emma hmm I wonder who you work for! Whenever I call my mortgage company I se to get a geordie at the end of the line...mI love it!

As for me, Im just back home after a work night out and my cat is attacking me...always does after being home alone all day bless him! He's my fur baby :) :)

Pibbee · 10/05/2017 23:20

*seem to get, that was meant to say!

Flatwhite31 · 11/05/2017 07:22

@forevertimes, 3 weeks! I finish on July 21st, and am already done in! Are you in Dubai? My parents used to live there, so I have been there loads.

We have been together for 3 years today, so hoping to have a nice evening Wink if I'm not too done in from school. We'll have to see!

charl19 · 11/05/2017 08:16

Wow we really are all over!! I'm from Gloucester so quite near to you twisted but now I live in Cardiff since about August last year ☺️

Forevertimes · 11/05/2017 21:13

@emma and @pibee
Yeah, I'm pretty much dead at 6.30am too! The children come into my class straight away and are there until 2pm. It's the norm here because there is a 'siesta' culture here. Even offices/banks etc all close between 1pm and 4pm here. It definitely takes some getting used to.

I'm in the gulf about 1 hour flight from Dubai.

It's the weekend here now and I am so tired!!! It's 11pm and I just woke up from my 'siesta'.

How's everyone else today?

MistyBxx · 11/05/2017 21:50

Wow forever 😍 love the idea of a siesta culture! I used to be a holiday rep (only in Menorca, nowhere exotic lol) but I'd work 9-1 then 4-8, I loved it! I wish they'd do that here! But not til 8 at night lol, want the best of both worlds see! 😂
Nothing to report with me girlies. Just waiting to start peeing on sticks and timing my baby-dancing... god I actually hate that phrase lol 😂

Pibbee · 11/05/2017 22:08

Hahahah @misty I hate that phrase too!! Makes me cringe! Grin

MistyBxx · 12/05/2017 00:33

Ok let's all agree it's totally cringe and won't say it again... makes me think of this... bleughhh 😂😂🙈🙈🤢🤢😷

Flatwhite31 · 12/05/2017 07:19

Haha @Misty, I hate the term BD too! I'm going to pee on sticks this month too, then try and keep DTD every few days thereafter. Every other day is just too much for me in term time. I work ten hours a day in school alone, then there's more in the evenings and weekends, so I'm often shattered. Got my OPKs ready! According to Ovia, I should start on Sun. What's the best time of day to do OPKs? My fear is never getting a positive!

Pibbee · 12/05/2017 10:11

Omg @misty that dancing baby!!!!!!!!Shock

Happy Friday all!

@flatwhite I am new to the OPK lark but i think once the line starts getting darker you should do them 2 or 3 times a day so you don't miss the positive one. Morning and evening should be fine if you can't pee on sticks at work!!

I am in the boring limbo stage at the moment, AF has buggered off and it will be FW in about 10 days! Meh i have grown to hate FW, is that bad!? HmmConfusedGrin

MistyBxx · 12/05/2017 10:38

I've heard that opks are like opposite to pg tests, coz we always have LH in our systems, if we test first thing, coz we haven't drunk anything overnight, we may get a higher reading just because it's concentrated, so I think you're meant to test afternoon and evening so you've drunk plenty and if the LH level is high even when diluted, that's the way to get a truer reading. I THINK I don't swear by this lol.
I know what you mean pibbee I'm feeling under pressure already and my FW isn't even til next weekend 🙈
