TTC - First Time! (2)

Hi all. Reconvene here!

@MistyBxx I never thought I'd be someone who revelled in her wedding day, but OMG it was magical! Ours wasn't a plush do. It was in a quirky, 3 star hotel where all the furniture is from India. I absolutely loved everything, and my dress was 50s vintage style. It honestly is the best day ever!

As for TTC, my period dried up, but today I've had some heavy-ish brown spotting. Lovely! DTD will have to wait, as I'm really not keen on DTD when there is blood (or anything resembling it!) down there. Lol!

@emma I cracked up at "waffling down the aisle"! Comedy images of a giant potato waffle in a wedding dress.....

I'm only 4ft 11 so don't think I'll suit that sort of dress, and I'll work damn hard to get into one so I want a "figure hugging" (basically I've worked my arse off for the curves so I'm bloody well showing them off dress!)

I worked in a 4* hotel as a wedding planner so I can't wait to be the bride on the other side of it 😬😬

It was very flattering... hid a multitude of sins and was pulled so tight I could barely breathe. Plus I was so stressed I lived on coffee and fags practically alone for the last fortnight before... needless to say I do NOT look like this any more!!
I'm sat here watching made in Chelsea looking down at a pouch that could easy be a 20 week bump but is in fact full of Burger King.
Need to get back to the gym and start really being careful about what I'm putting in my mouth, I'm not exaggerating, I have put on so much weight and more than looks, it's so unhealthy for ttc 😭xx

Hubs plays on his phone the whole time it's on and insists on showing me stupid snap chat filters right when there's an argument or something (ps how much of a knob is harry barren!!!😡😡 Ella is absolutely stupid though) but he craves attention too coz he just walked past me with his jeans round his butt 😂😂🤣

@Misty mine just goes on and on about how boooorrriing it is, dances about in front of the telly too I usually only watch it while he is out tbh!

Yes Harry is a nob but i would totally have fancied him if I were a youngster. Used to love that whole arrogant bad boy thing....Eventually saw sense though! I have tonight's episode to watch (was catching up this eve on previous one) and as DP is out tomorrow eve I am already looking forward to it (sad or wot ). I like Olivia and can't stand that Mimi chick.

Feeling pretty crampy now so reckon AF will be here properly tomorrow. Is it wrong that I am already not looking forward to FW? I just get so stressed out by it....

Wow Misty that photo is stunning! Your dress was beautiful ❤️. I've put loads of weight on since our wedding in September too, so we're all in the same boat . Definitely going to concentrate hard on losing it again over the next few months!

I'm on CD30 today and still no sign of AF . It was due on Saturday/Sunday so about two days late now. Didn't have the chance to test this morning as I was in a rush but I will definitely do it tomorrow if AF still stays away. I'm going to apologise in advance to Misty for saying this () but I just know it will be BFN so I haven't been eager to re-test!

Awww @ttc you dont definitely know it'll be a BFN!

I am on CD30 today too and think AF will be properly here today. Onwards and upwards!

Update: AF is indeed now here! So my last cycle was 29 days, April was 24, March was 30 and Feb 25 days (wasn't tracking prior to that). I don't think they have been irregular before (not that they are all that irregular now tbh), unless they were pre-Pill and I just didn't notice as wasn't paying attention. They seem to alternate between slightly shorter and slightly longer. Does any of this mean anything ie do I need to care about this? Tbh am already using up way too much brain energy stressing about all things TTC, feel like I can't be arsed adding another thing to worry about!

I'm feeling so weddingy 😂 I need a new laptop coz my old one is broken and it's hard to blog on my iPad, so I think a trip down to pc world is in order, I need to get my wedding blog published!!
Oh pibbee it finally arrived properly then. TBH 24,25,29 and 30 are not massively different, were you on pill before? When I started tracking, mine were 28, 32, 39, 30, 29, 28, 28, 28... bfp lol. Honestly don't worry, your body is getting into routine, and a difference of 1 to 7 days can be normal, take that off your worry list chick! And harry barren is defo a bad boy who I also totally would have fancied... why do we do that to ourselves in our youth? If I ever have a daughter I swear I will die when her heart gets broken like mine did in my teens and early 20s... I LOVED a bad boy lol. Still do if I'm honest. Hubs is NOT a cheater/nasty or anything like that, but he's not overly romantic and deep, he makes me work hard for his affection... but it keeps me on my toes 😂

@pibbee like the others have said, slight variation is normal, I don't think you'd ever find a woman who a to the day and date every time.
Bad boys are my guilty pleasure and still get me hot under the collar but it's only fantasy 💁 I like to look but they'd irritate me so much 😂 Same as @misty really, OH is amazing but by god I have to work had for his attention some days!

The beach the horse is galloping on at the end is Rhosilli beach, best beach in uk (so they say lol) 20 mins from me. My claim to fame. A bank advert 😂😂😂
