@Pibbee the weird thing was I always brush my tongue every day and have never had that before. Starting to think I may be coming down with something as feeling bit sick after I eat anything today as well

I am not testing, still waiting for proper AF to rock up but it's in the post definitely. I am on CD30 which is a long one for me! But I have the tell tale signing of incoming AF so nowt to get excited about! How you getting on @Misty?

so I got a two pack of Frer from boots on my home with the plan to test tomorrow but clearly that didn't happen I tested already and got bfn. Just thought maybe as feeling sooo nauseous today after eating anything. I'm 11dpo today when should I use my second test? Wait until af due? Hope you're all having a nice day :)

I'm ok thanks pibbee, 6 weeks today 😳 can't see midwife til 8+ weeks so feeling very cautious and still quite unreal. I was a 28 day cycle clockwork and tested on cd31 coz I knew I'm never late. The af symptoms like cramps, sore back and cm weren't af symptoms after all. Good luck!

I would defo recommend waiting til af is a day or two late. I know it's easy to say but I honestly mean it, it's so much more reliable and bfns are heartbreaking xx

Tessa I tested 5 days before period was due and got BFN. I then tested 2 days before period was due and got BFP!

Oh my god ladies, my hormones have gone CRAZY all of a sudden. It's like 12 years of PMT all coming out at once. Work is ridiculously stressful, so that isn't helping, but work stress normally makes me a bit teary, not angry. This is like proper rage! I feel like I'm going to explode! Did anyone get this coming off the pill? I took my last one nearly 2 weeks ago. My poor husband is being very understanding.

Thanks @MistyBxx and @mrsjkerry I think I'll try and wait until Saturday, DH suggested that and said we can always get some more after af is due on Sunday if we need to! Have started randomly burping as well from this afternoon. Need to calm down as feel excited and this is probably nothing!

I've missed the last couple of days (work has been crazy!) so going to read what I've missed now . Had a "high" reading today on the CB OPKs following two days of "low" so going to start DTD tonight, we haven't had a chance so far! Hopefully I'll follow the same pattern as cycle 3 (getting a "peak" after two days of "high") rather than last cycle having endless "high" readings! Fx!

tessa your symptoms sound very promising! I'd probably wait until AF is due to take another test, seeing the glaring white of a BFN is awful! You're definitely not out yet so fx for you!

I'm in my FW now according to ovia & Clue. Got myself some cheapy OPKs (mainly due to it being too close to payday to afford the smiley face expensive ones) 😂 Been religiously peeing on them in work but just faint lines atm.

After last month's pretty poor attempt at DTD lots (OH was ill for the majority of my FW and I'm still only just forgiving him for his poorly timed man flu) I've created our 'challenge box' for this month! He gets to pick a note each day with a different position/place/thing he likes etc and that's how we DTD 🙈 it's a bit of a laugh for us, and takes the pressure off feeling like we're only DTD to get that BFP!!
Anyone else trying to make DTD less stressful when TTC??

On my side there is no news, still bloated and tired, I started waking up earlier so I have a few minutes in bed to deal with nausea before I have to get up in the mornings. Had AF like cramps yesterday and felt wet but when I went toilet to check there was nothing there.

I have to go to a baby shower today of someone who seeming got knocked up by accident. She's not even my friend, she's my husbands friend, and we've never really got on. Initially I was jealous because she's stunning & then I realised they really were just friends but we've just never clicked.

My last bfn/af really got me down & it seems that all of our group have kids now & another friend will be there with her new baby & I'm just in full blown anxiety over going. I'm putting so much pressure on myself to look good & be all "thank god I don't have children yet" when I'm crying on the inside.

I don't know what to do. Do I go & put on a brace face & feel shit or do I stay home & wallow in self pity & feel shit?!

I should point out I do suffer from minor anxiety over social situations, particularly those where I feel inferior.

Any advice?! xx

Jellybean you should really test you know...misty also thought it would be negative but she was also wrong! You never know with nature!

Twisted you sound similar to me. Is your husband also going? If so, I would go to be supportive. If not I'd probably make an excuse.

Thanks MrsJ - I did go & as usuallit wasn't as bad but there were times I felt lonely & sad, times people asked when we were having kids & I was glad to leave. Because of the anxiety I now have a killer headache though.

On the plus side my other friends new baby was a cutie & although I'm jealous on the inside I'm so happy for her & I love new baby cuddles. She said it took her 8 months to conceive which put my 5 in a little perspective.

I'm so glad people on this thread are not judgemental because I've seen some vicious remarks on other threads posting similar to me!!

@Twistedsister7 I am glad you went, it must have been hard but you got through it, well done. I hope your headaches gets better x

@mrsjkerry I am scared to test, I don't want to see that BFN yet. If I am pregnant I would have conceived on the same night my best friend gave birth, which would be awesome lol. I am going to wait until the end of the month to test if AF doesn't come before then.

Also not sure what to make of this but today and yesterday my libido has gone through the roof...as in we DTD 4 times in less than 24 hours I have never felt like this before.

Twisted I hope you're feeling a bit better now? It must be so hard to have to face others (especially those who you never got on with in the first place) at baby showers and have to deal with the endless questions about you and your DH being next to have a baby! It's exhausting putting on a brave face when it is all you have been thinking about/working on for the last few months! Well done for going! And hopefully speaking to your friend who spend 8months TTC helped put your mind at ease... I think it's a lot more common than we first thought when joining MN!!

And ha I know it's a bit weird with the challenge box but it does seem to work... We're already DTD loads more than last month! (I just hope it works or I'll have to think of more places/things to do)!! 🙈

I realised yesterday was first day of fw according to Ovia so hubby & I dtd. Later I had ewcm which seems a little early to me!! My body seems to be doing its utmost to confuse me the last 2 cycle!! I need OPKs but I'm poor!! Lol!!

Twisted sorry you had to go through the endless questions, and at a baby shower of all things! I had the same a few weeks ago so I know exactly how you must have felt. Good to hear about your friend who was TTC for 8 months though, I love hearing stories like that it does put things into perspective . I bet the poundland OPKs would be fine - I think I remember Misty saying she used them? Could be lucky ones if so!

I'm onto day 3 of "high" readings now on the CB OPKs - just hoping it's not going to be the same as last month never getting a peak. The one time I got a peak using these it was after just two days of "high" so I'm feeling rubbish now today! Bloody menstrual cycle, why can't a stalk just bring us some lovely little newborns instead?!
