TWW - anyone else testing in early March?

satsoooma · 20/02/2017 16:24

I'm just starting the dreaded TWW and could use some company. All the other threads on this seem to have reached the testing stage already.

I am 2-3 dpo and planning to test on 4 March. We have been TTC for about 18 months and are getting fertility treatment. I am pretty sure I ovulated this month though, so I have have high hopes for this cycle.

I'm trying not to symptom spot but I've had a few sharp pains on my right side - again, hoping they were signs of implantation. So far I haven't wee'd on any sticks!

dangle90 · 22/02/2017 19:50

I've been the same today with right side pains and the odd abdominal twinge! Prob be nothing! Hopefully we can all stay away from poas too early! I've got a while yet, 9/10 says... not that I'm counting Wink

ethelfleda · 22/02/2017 20:57

Hi stephy Smile

I'm good thanks dangle and you?
Symptom spotting yes but still trying to figure out if I've ovulated! Lol
I've had to step away from DR Google to try and chill myself out! Lol
Time will tell 😊

dangle90 · 22/02/2017 20:59

If only we could switch off eh Ethel! But like you say only time will tell! X

ethelfleda · 22/02/2017 21:18

If only! So frustrating that we are supposed to just relax and let nature take its course as it's so difficult to do!

Andysgirl15 · 22/02/2017 21:21

Oooh can I join. I'm 2dpo due to test on the 2nd when I'll be 10dpo. First month ttc #3 got a clear + with DS on 10dpo so hoping it goes the same way this time.

Been cramping all day long today (secretly hoping it's from the fallopian tube pushing the egg) yesterday morning was even worse, really sharp stabbing pains in left and right ovary...weird...... and shooting pains ..... Tmi .. . up my butt and hoohaa lol

Got some stuff happening over this next week to keep me busy, house hunting, driving test, in laws visiting etc so a pretty busy week for me. Should keep me from obsessing over POAS :-)

MegsMog · 22/02/2017 21:26

Room for one more? CD18 here. AF due March 4th.

We're not officially TTC #2 yet (will start using OPKs March / April if nothing happens before then) but DTD unprotected on CDs 8 and 13 so obviously I'm now symptom spotting 😒

I've also been feeling nauseous since CD13 which is not helping!! I know it's far too early for actual pregnancy symptoms but I can't think for the life of me what would be causing it.

Unthoughtknown · 22/02/2017 21:27

I'll join 2ww/symptom spotting band wagon. I'm thinking I ovulated either Sat/Sun or Mon, will probably test if no AF by 8 March. (I hate hate POAS so no temptation for me to do it before). This is cycle 2 TTC #2. This is the cycle that would give us an exactly 2 year age gap, so I will be upset when AF turns up

Andysgirl15 · 22/02/2017 21:35

Unthoughtknown I think your probably the only woman ttc that hates POAS . I have hundreds of cheapies and it's so hard not to POAS even though I know it's far too early. There's 2 years between my DD and DS and its really great, she adores him so much and tries to do everything such as feeding, nappies, burping etc lol. We involved her in everything when I was pregnant like scans and midwife apps to try and 'tone down' the sibling jealousy but looks like we didn't need to as she's really took to him.

Megsmog- your not the only one symptom spotting. I've been doing it since about 2 hours after ovulation haha I kid of course but I'm so excited as I'm sure you are too :-)

Bull3116 · 22/02/2017 21:38

Can I join?

I'm 30, TTC1, Cycle 6 and now CD13.

I ovulated today so just starting the 2ww. Already symptom spotting which is utterly ridiculous but I can't help it Confused

Ommletta35 · 22/02/2017 21:57

Waving hi to everyone,
We have been trying to decide whether to go for our last baby or not and made the decision to go for it. I'm 35 and we already have 3 DC.
Ovulation due today or tomorrow but I am pretty sure I felt ovulation pains earlier this afternoon.
Best of luck to everyone.

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 06:47

Hello everyone 👋🏼! Laughing at us all symptom spotting, asif you only starting symptom spotting 2 hours after ovulation mine was more like 30 seconds WinkGrin even though I've been getting pains I think my minds probably playing tricks and it will be BFN again next weekend!

ethelfleda · 23/02/2017 06:54

Hello everyone and good luck to you all! dangle I reckon this month might be your month Smile

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 09:48

Morning ladies. How are we all. So I'm now 3dpo and I tested (no judging haha) obviously BFN but I couldn't resist. New symptom this morning, weird Pulling sensation near left ovary so hoping it's a good sign :-)

doodledragon · 23/02/2017 10:17

I've had stabby pains on and off for a couple of days - but that could be wind!

Quite a high temp change today so definitely into the tww.

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 10:42

I hope so Ethel, hopefully yours too! I do sometimes think we probably always had these symptoms but now we're more aware of our bodies and always watching for new symptoms, we are crazy ladies Grin

satsoooma · 23/02/2017 10:55

Now I wish I had tested this morning AndysGirl, just for fun. I have a bag of about 50 cheapies, so why the hell not. FMU is long gone now though :(

No way I am going to make it the whole 9 days without POAS.

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 11:40

Noooo it's way to early to test ladies 😂! I'm going to try hold out until thurs/fri xx

satsoooma · 23/02/2017 12:23

Haha, i know! But they are so cheap, they are basically free. For me it just makes me feel more relaxed.

Me before test: well I know I didn't ovulate until late, but maybe i imagined it and actually ovulated much earlier than i thought. Should i test just incase? No, maybe, definetely not, but wouldn't it be amazing if it was positive? It is very stressful.

Me after test: see, told you it was too early. That proves it. Now go get on with your day.

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 13:42

Haha I have exactly the same conversation with myself satsoooma.

I have an array of PT,s including, Internet cheapies, home bargains, pound shop, and a couple from savers called answer which are identical to first response. I also have many OPKS and later when I go for DD at childcare I'm picking up some first response, clearblue and might get some cheap ones from wilko. I really can't help myself haha Grin

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 13:46

Wanna hear something freaky.....

Last night DD came up to me when I was sat on the sofa, she lifted my top, rubbed my belly at the bottom and said 'aww baby' kissed my belly pulled my top back down and walked away. She's been really clingy and wanting to lie on my belly all the time since then. The last time she did things like that was when I was PG with DS

Really freaked me out. Me and OH just stared at each other like 'Is she tryna tell us sonething"

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 14:03

I get them free from work lol! When I test early I tell myself it won't bother me if it's negative because I know it's too early but deep down I think it does make me feel a bit crappy lol!

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 14:04

Hopefully she's right Andysgirl! I feel like my dog is more protective over me since we've been ttc dunno if that's my imagination hahaha

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 14:18

Probably isn't dangle as dogs have a sixth sense just like children so hopefully it's a good sign.

I'd really hate to go through all these symptoms and my DD doing that just to end up with AF. It would be really disheartening Confused

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 14:20

Same here but wouldn't surprise me! So true what they say we spend our lives trying not to get pregnant then when it comes to it it's like that hardest task ever!!
