TWW - anyone else testing in early March?

satsoooma · 20/02/2017 16:24

I'm just starting the dreaded TWW and could use some company. All the other threads on this seem to have reached the testing stage already.

I am 2-3 dpo and planning to test on 4 March. We have been TTC for about 18 months and are getting fertility treatment. I am pretty sure I ovulated this month though, so I have have high hopes for this cycle.

I've got some internet cheapies burning a hole in my draw Ethel 😂

ethelfleda · 02/03/2017 07:38

Hi actino
I'm definitely not an expert as it is only my first month temping but I'd have thought the spotting was a positive sign?? When is AF due?

dangle how many dpo are you?

dangle90 · 02/03/2017 07:42

If I ovulated when I think I did (tried using opks but didn't catch my surge so may be wrong) I'm 13dpo

dangle90 · 02/03/2017 08:01

I caved.... surprise surprise BFN. I think I'd deffo be seeing a sniff of a line by now wouldn't I surely

B1gRabbit · 02/03/2017 08:12

actino Re: your chart; are you temping orally or vaginally? Sorry to be personal! Just I found when temping they were more stable up the vaj.

My temp has dipped this morning Sad Off to the fertility clinic today, hopefully will have results of biopsy on ovarian cyst, endo removal and OH's swimmers so will have a better idea of how to proceed from here...

Oysterbabe · 02/03/2017 08:13

You do hear of people not getting a bfp until they're about a week late so still crossing my fingers for you.

stephylou87 · 02/03/2017 08:14

Morning everyone. So AF is now 5 days late and today's test looks like this. It's really faint but it looks pinky to me 🤞🏻 what do you all think??

Congrats stephy! Grin** is that a frer too? Flowers

stephylou87 · 02/03/2017 08:20

Thank you 😊 not it's a cheap Answer test from savers. I was saving my CB digital xx

actino · 02/03/2017 08:23

Rabbit, I temp orally. There is definitely a general upward trend, but I was hoping it would be more obvious. AF due monday so I might test this weekend.

Steph, I see the faint pink line!

boatrace30 · 02/03/2017 08:50

Definitely a faint line Steph. Congrats!
My temp dipped a lot today which possibly confirms my feeling of AF being round the corner. On the other hand I did sleep well last night and didn't wake up tossing and turning so hoping that my temp was artificially high the last few days. You're not out till you're out I guess.

I temp vaginally - just heard its a lot more accurate!

I also have fully fledged laryngitis with next to no voice. (And I am a teacher haha!) so now feeling like tiredness and feeling rubbish is down to that!

Atypicalmother · 02/03/2017 09:18

Morning all! If I've calculated right, I'm on 7/8dpo and it's all about the symptom spotting with me today.

Symptoms include:
-tender breasts
-bloated and quite gassy feeling Blush

  • slightly nauseous
  • very, very high cervix which I can only just reach

I'm trying to not test until af due because of my chemical so that means 7 days of sitting on my hands!

satsoooma · 02/03/2017 09:31

AF turned up this morning Sad, so that is it for me this cycle.

I have PCOS and am on clomid, so I will start my next round of pills to encourage an egg to mature tomorrow I think. I am on round 5 of a total 6 clomid cycles that I am allowed. After that I get a single cycle of IVF. So that is only three more shots at getting this right. I am beginning to worry that it just won't happen for us.

On the other hand, AF turned up right on time, which is a really good sign, and means that I almost certainly ovulated, which is half the battle.

Sorry to hear that, satsooma, big virtual hug. Try to keep your head up and stay positive.

NotQuiteJustYet · 02/03/2017 10:25

I'm 9DPO today and itching to start testing but trying to hold off to avoid the disappointment when they'll only come back negative.

Symptoms: Migraines, sensitive nipples since 5DPO, sore boobs since 8DPO and some mild cramps.

I think AF might be on the way, my temp took a 0.13 dip this morning and my boobs normally start getting sore about now when she's due.

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 02/03/2017 10:27

Oh satsooma sorry about AF. Maybe your body is just taking its time to regulate itself. Fingers crossed for you for next month! FlowersFlowersFlowers

boatrace30 · 02/03/2017 10:31

Really really sorry to hear that satsooma. Big hug to you. At least AF is on time so fingers crossed for next month. Xxx

Andysgirl15 · 02/03/2017 10:50

Sorry to hear af got you satsoooma 💐

Got some cramping today. Been on and off for a couple of hours. I only usually cramp about 30 mins before af arrives and I'm only 9/10dpo so I doubt it's af yet. Had sore boobs this morning as well, they didn't hurt to touch it was more of a sensation. Oh how I hate the TWW 😡

Banania · 02/03/2017 11:08

I'm out too - AF arrived as expected this morning. Sorry to everyone feeling disappointed and congrats to stephy!

For everyone symptom spotting, the big signs for me last time (with DC2) were the blue veins on chest, itchy nipples, dizziness, and a weird gurgling in my stomach! Had none of that this time around so kind of knew.

satsooma I'll keep an eye on you on these boards, seems like we're starting a new cycle together. Hang in there.

Beckyb4591 · 02/03/2017 11:10

Sorry to hear AF arrived satsoooma. Very good news though that it arrived on time as that's a step in the right direction at least. Keeping my fingers crossed for you xxxx

Beckyb4591 · 02/03/2017 11:13

stephylou87 · 02/03/2017 11:26

Sorry for the AF and I wish you all the luck and best for next month xx

Firsttimeandclueless · 02/03/2017 11:33

Sorry to hear Satsoooma and Banania
If AF shows up for me, starting to suspect she will because of cramping this morning, we should start another thred for def.

Huge huge congrats Stephy Make sure you pop back and let us know how you get on!

Atypical You're my cycle twin! Still sooo long to go! I have roughly five days to AF but she has been known to turn up early :/
