TWW - anyone else testing in early March?

satsoooma · 20/02/2017 16:24

I'm just starting the dreaded TWW and could use some company. All the other threads on this seem to have reached the testing stage already.

I am 2-3 dpo and planning to test on 4 March. We have been TTC for about 18 months and are getting fertility treatment. I am pretty sure I ovulated this month though, so I have have high hopes for this cycle.

Hi springflower and good luck to you too! You may not have missed your chance though. Doesn't the peak mean you will O in the next 24 - 36 hours?
Haha dangle I'm glad I'm not the only one!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 28/02/2017 10:53

I'm another one who is overweight. By about 2 stone according to the BMI charts. I'm not actually that big tbh but scales don't lie. I was planning on losing a stack of weight before TTC but figured I'd rather just get on with it. Hoping for dire morning sickness so I can vom my way to skinny jeans 👖(I'm kidding of course! Although my auntie did lose a lot of weight while pregs due to nausea so who knows!)

Addtothechaos · 28/02/2017 11:21

Morning ladies

I'm still here hanging out the 2ww! 7 DPO today boobs have become Mega sore and temp risen again. Af due one week today!

Hope all are having a good start to the week? Which one of us is due to test next? !

And spring im sure the peak readings mean ov is 1-2 days away so you probably haven't missed the window and Dtd at right time Smile good luck! Xx

satsoooma · 28/02/2017 11:28

Hi Spring. Ideally, you would want to DTD the day before you get a positive OPK, and then every other day just in case. You basically want the sperm to be already waiting in the fallopian tube when you ovulate and it can take them quite a while to get there. As others have said, ovulation is usually 0-48 hours after a positive OPK. So you might be in with a shot this month!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips (love the username btw), dangle and ethel, maybe it is just another pg symptom. My body could be like: "oh shit, a pregnancy, wake up, it is really important that we think about eating more carrots and going to the gym, immediately!"

Might have slightly sore boobs today too, not sure if I am just imagining that one though.

Parsnips 😂 that made me chuckle! I thought I'd loose weight too but nope I haven't lol! I'm a size 14 but like you say according to the charts I'm well overweight! Angry
God was watching jezza Kyle this morn was making me angry how these people get to have children left right and centre :(

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 13:54

I know dangle
Guy at work - his son and her girlfriend are expecting and they are only 18... he is giving up a glittering career in the RAF and they are going to live on benefits. They've only been together 5 minutes. I wouldnt usually judge as I'm not that type of person but as we are TTC it's hard not to!

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 14:19

Dare I say that I have ever so slightly sore nipples? Not had that before Hmm

dangle90 · 28/02/2017 15:54

I know exactly what you mean Ethel! But like you say it's because we are ttc! Well hopefully that's a sign! I just think I'm well and truly out no symptoms did another test this morn BFN so I suspect AF will be here as normal sat x

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 16:24

Dangle don't say that! You're not out yet my lovely! Most women don't get any symptoms at all don't forget. And the months where I've had all the symptoms I've had a BFN. So they mean nothing 😊

satsoooma · 28/02/2017 16:32

So true Ethel. It seems like everything that is a symptom of pregnancy, is also a sign that you are going to get your period, and vice versa.

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 16:42

Yes just to add to the fun of TTC!!

dangle90 · 28/02/2017 17:14

Hmm we will see! I just think because you see so many people getting faint positives at this time there's no chance! X

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 18:00

Yeah but your little bean might not have even implantated yet! If so the HCG might not be high enough. Put your feet up, relax and text again on Saturday Flowers

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 18:01

That was supposed to say test!

dangle90 · 28/02/2017 18:09

I will thanks Ethel Smile

ImBreakingBad · 28/02/2017 18:30

Hope you all don't mind me joining! I'm 3-4dpo and the TWW is killing me already! This TTC is bloody hard work!!

chocoraisin · 28/02/2017 18:34

OK... drum roll.... AF was due on Friday but clear blue digi just gave me a BFP 1-2 weeks!!!!!

I just knew Grin

Boobs are killing me though.

I hope March is an awesome month for all of us!

ethelfleda · 28/02/2017 18:46

Hi breakingbad - awesome username btwand good luck to you! The 2ww really does drag doesn't it?! I'm only 8dpo and already convincing myself that I am out this month!

Wow, congratulations choco so come on indulge us, any other symptoms we can convince ourselves we've got look out for?

Oysterbabe · 28/02/2017 18:52

Evening all! Congrats Choco!
I've had all manner of symptoms kick in today; queasy, dizzy, headachy. I'm trying not to get too excited as these are all symptoms I remember having in the first couple of months off the pill last time. Still I'm crossing my fingers, 11DPO today.

stuckinny · 28/02/2017 18:55

Congrats choco

Hi breakingbad.

This time round the 2ww feels particularly long. I've been trying to figure out if I can sneak out to the shops to get more sensitive tests so I can test earlier.

boatrace30 · 28/02/2017 19:28

Talking of crazy symptom spotting I've had waves of nausea all day! I'm sure it can't be pregnancy based as only 7dpo. Just my brain playing tricks on me. On top of that I have a cold and bad theorist and no voice after a day teaching!!

Dangle I think it's still less likely than likely to get BFPs before around 12dpo. People on here are just getting lucky!

Congrats choo and welcome breakingbad

chocoraisin · 28/02/2017 19:39

the only symptom I've had this time that convinced me was my boobs going mental. Really, really sore. Not tingly - actually painful. It's not normal for me on my PMT. Unfortunately I can't say anything else is noticeable really. Sorry I can't be more helpful! But I have everything crossed for everyone also on the 2WW. It's horrible not knowing. X

chocoraisin · 28/02/2017 19:40

And thank you for all the congratulations Grin I'm very excited right now!

Andysgirl15 · 28/02/2017 19:42

Congratulations choco 😆.

I second the nausea had it on and off today but it's so not gonna stop me stuffing my face with a kebab though 😂😂. Oh tmi but I'm really windy today and noticed one of my nipples was really sore this afternoon so idk anymore.

For some reason though I'm really excited to test in the morning and I don't know why. I think it might be because I'll be 9dpo and lots of ladies have faint bfps around then so here hoping 😆
