#2 PMA all the way to BFP xxx

So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

So plug in your stats and off we go xxx

Sarah you've still got time, can you DTD tonight?

Bella and Salem dtd last night, could try tonight but would there be any point?? Was slight line on Friday morning, positive Saturday morning and evening then just slightly less than test line this morning, is there a chance with my positive being yesterday that I'll ovulate today or tomorrow?? Xx

So, I'm not sure if I've mentioned before or not but last month was first month using OPKs and convinced myself that I didn't actually get a positive result. Last night I did one and it was the strongest line I'd had and then did one this morning which is the bottom OPK strip. Is this a positive? Or would you guys suggest doing another one later today?
If you've DTD last night Sarah, that should cover it?

@sarah i'm not entirely sure about ovulation tests. i used the smiley digital CB.

i'd probably DTD anyway and try my best to relax as worrying you've missed it, won't change anything. FX for you xx

That's definitely positive Dolly. I would DTD for the next 3 days, miss a day and then DTD one more time for luck.
Yay for positive OPKS! I had a line like your middle one today, but feeling some cramping, so I am going to do a CB Digi OPK today just for my sad benefit.
Sarah Ovulation usually occurs 24-36hrs after your positive OPK and if you DTD last night, you should be ok. According to your OPK, you would either ovulate today or tomorrow. Have you checked your CM and have you felt any ovulation cramps?

@dolly iv just googled what a positive OPK "should" look like and i'd say that's a pretty big positive!

CB digital ov = BFN. But I can feel ov pain. Argggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!

I'm feeling left out ladies ... cd9 here so haven't poas opk yet ... apparently I should start tomorrow but I usually ovulate on cd14 or 15 so I'm loathed to piss on a quid and a half (I've got cb smiley digi's) when I'm doubtful that it'll be positive till Friday ... I've got 7 of them left from last month tho so I'm thinking just pOas anyway for tracking purposes.

sarah - try not to worry Hun ... i only get to dtd once in fw and I'd be happy dtd on the day of a positive opk ... or even a day before

Salem I've never checked cm?? Had a bit of cramping yesterday so I knew it was on it's way at some point this weekend. Keep going with your opks, the positive will come!!

Hippy I usually start opk on cd11 and this month my positive came cd16 so I'm so glad I do them, even if they're not completely accurate they do give us a good idea!! Xx

Ok my pma is back!! So We were talking about the sperm meets egg plan on here earlier this month and I thought we'd give it a go. We dtd cd8 and cd10 as planned but then missed any more until our first day of positive opk (oops!) so if we dtd tonight, tomorrow, miss a day then dtd Tuesday then we'd hit the plan right? (Apart from the middle bit!! 😳). Xx

@sarah i feel like my brain is mush today because of that IC "is it, is it not a line" this morn.

so between biting my DH head off this morning as he had finger prints on the chrome light switches (how else is he supposed to switch light on/off), throwing soap powder all over the kitchen floor as i tried to pour it into the washing machine drawer without actually opening the bloody drawer and in the latest fuck up is iv just sent a text to my father that was meant for my DH - OMFG!!! shoot me now.

i'm now sat crying because i have my final edit to do on my wedding video - surely sitting still, drinking tea, watching the video and chatting to you ladies will keep me out of causing chaos harms way? x

Reference the recipe - I've sent you a personal message bella with my email address it should flag up in your inbox :). You might not need it anyway ... your line looks promising and I'm not surprised your on tenderhooks ... I would be too.

sarahb those ic opks confused me too much with the line interpretation so I've just gone for cb digital as they give you a definite smiley and you don't need to worry about interpretation... yeah I think I'll start cd 11 too ... cd10 seems too early and I hate seeing negative especially when I know it's gonna be negative ... Tuesday will be cd11 but Tuesday dtd is out for us as dp works late ....
thanks for thinking about how to get my dp into bed bella ... it's all I think about fw or not lol .... he's just having a tough time with work at the mo so getting him to relax and stop thinking about the stupid place is part of the battle ... I like the fact that he's such a thoughtful guy but not when it's about work lol! I'm gonna aim to get him to dtd Thursday and Saturday which will be cd13 and cd15 ... I should get positive opk cd14 but he has to work that night so chance of that is dramatically reduced ... I just hope and pray we do it one time over those important few days ... I'm adamant it only takes one little strong swimmer xxx

On an unrelated note... I just asked dh when he would want to tell people if we were pregnant. He's saying 12 weeks for everyone! I explained I'd want to tell my parents at least and he seems totally confused and against it.... anyone any thoughts?

I have a feeling this isn't going to be my month. I have no symptoms and creamy CM which is not a symptom is it?

I've googled creamy cm to find out if it's a symptom magpie and from what I gather cm offers no assistance in terms of indicating pg or not. Not everyone gets symptoms... none of my friends who've had kids did so fx you're in with a good a chance as any :)))

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you lovely ladies for your kind words and support especially this last wk when I've not been particularly feeling the PMA vibe .... another bleeding baby bomb on facey b today .... maybe I'm just noticing them more these days :)))

Awww charley that's a tough one ... I even contemplated waiting 12 weeks to tell everyone including dp .... except you lovely lot of course ... but in reality that will never happen. As long as your dh let's you tell us lot ... xxx
