So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

So plug in your stats and off we go xxx

Hippy that soup looks fabulous! Do you have a soup machine maker thing? (I am not domesticated in any way). Cd13 and cd15 should stand you in good stead for getting upduffed. All it takes is only sperm!

Sarah CM should be stretchy and clear, like egg whites before cooked, when you are fertile. That's always a good indicator.

Bella Should I poaopk (lol!) for the 3rd time today? The ov pains are very noticeable!!! It is a DTD day anyway (part of SMEP) so even if I am ovulating, I shouldn't miss it. It is the smiley face one. I have got 15 ic tests left and 4 digital ones.

Dolly I am obsessed with POAS. It is honestly the best feeling when you get a positive OPK Smile.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 19/02/2017 17:48

Sorry I seemed to have missed a few posts when I was posting!

Charley my DH has said he would like to wait until 12 weeks to tell people. I am definitely telling my Mum & I will have to tell my teaching assistant because I can't be leaving 33 8 year olds in my classroom alone whilst I go to throw up! I would also tell everyone on here!!!!!

Hippy your PMA is amazing, we should all be thanking you! Star

Charley2016 · 19/02/2017 17:51

Aw hippy everyone's allowed a bad week now and again! I'm sure once you ovulate you'll get back in to the swing of things and be full of PMA at the thought you could be pregnant Smile

I originally didn't think I would want to tell anyone but my dad lives abroad and I don't see my mum often! With me having a lot of nights out coming up, I would hate someone else to click on I was pregnant and know before my parents. I know they wouldn't tell anyone and at least then I'd have someone to talk to. Dh works evenings all week so I'm on my own pretty much all week and I know I'll want to talk about it all the time haha! Will definitely be telling you guys of course Wink

sarahboro1 · 19/02/2017 18:24

I've thought about this quite a lot (as we do!!) and I think I'd like to wait until the 12week scan before telling everyone (hubby and you ladies excepted!!) but I think my mum would notice/guess before that anyway.

Keep your chin up hippy!! We all have wobbles (mine was earlier!) but thanks to you lovely lot who reassured me this cycle should be covered!! Let it all out, I'm not sure what I'd do without you ladies to ask questions to!!!

Thanks Salem, I might have a look at cm 🙈 I'm off to poas opk so I'll check!! Xx

Moo31 · 19/02/2017 18:24

Hi ladies I've missed lots today!
Bella that looks exciting ....
Charley I would definitely tell our mum's and our sisters I think but like you I imagine some of my friends would twig on it I don't drink at social events!
Hippy I love soup - it looks yummy!
That crazy opk pic someone posted is crazy - makes me feel a little less crazy haha! I poas in the airport toilet but didn't have time to wait so shoved it back in the wrapper and back in my back and am now waiting to board and dying to know whether there are 2 lines or not haha! The last of my covert ops before poas'ing
in the comfort and safety of my own bathroom haha!

Roseandbee · 19/02/2017 18:36

Just catching up on the thread. Not much update from me as I'm cd 3 my boobs are still bugging me though, can't find a bra to fit :-/ not sure what's happened there

Salem thanks for doing the list:)

Charley I think I'd tell parents, I'd feel bad keeping it a secret and if the worse happened then I'd prob want to tell my mum anyway. Not sure about DHs parents, they have a lot on their plate as dhs dad is doing chemo at the mo so I'd be scared to tell them something that's turns out to not be good news but at the same time want to cheer them up asap.

Bella that looks very promising! Everything crossed for you!

Sorry about the bfp she mrsbarett and eccentric

Hippy I've just been cleaning out my fountain today and it made me think of your soup. Sorry! :P but yes definitely dedicated!

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 18:40

@salem if you have the IC tests then i'd defo POAOPKS lol. keep the clear blue smilies for confirmation of a positive IC Smile

mush brain seems to have continued as DH and i just argued in front of my bestie. he left the room and she said it was my fault - have since apologised. what is wrong with me? he's really annoying me today Confused

@magpie see attached image - i also had a lot of creamy white yuckiness yesterday so looked it up. i'm sure it's one of these symptoms that's either a pregnancy or AF sign bit with PMA the order of the day, lets go with the attached xx

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 18:42

@magpie sorry that posted too soon! i know think i'm irritable but that could be AF also. have needed to pee a lot today despite not drinking a lot. boobies and flower appear fine, not sensitive or achy as yet.

you? x

Somethingtotalkabout1982 · 19/02/2017 18:47

Thanks for doing the list Salem. Sorry to read and run but DS has had a sickness and diarrhoea bug since Thursday night, it's been a bit hectic. I've not had my mind on symptom spotting though, every cloud I suppose!

Charley2016 · 19/02/2017 18:51

Glad there are a few others who would tell their parents! I don't think I'd tell them as soon as I poas but I'd probably get an early scan around 8-9 weeks and tell them then. Everyone else can wait until after 12 weeks though haha!!

Moo you gave me a proper giggle there about your OPK! Seems there are lots of us due to ovulate soon! Let's hope our TWW goes nice and quick Smile

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 19:17

job well done agent @moo hehe x

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 19:22

@charley you've made me think about the who to tell & when subject. DH would know straight away cos half the bloody time he runs away with the stick and i don't get to see it til i'm out of the bathroom! selfish big bugger!

my mum has passed and i'm not that close to my dad so that sorts my parents out. i am extremely close to my bestie, aunt and cousin so i reckon those 3 would know before the 12wk scan. DH has said we would "need to wait til after the 16wk scan" 🤔🙄 he's so on point eh?!

my dear MIL is fab and i love her BUT she throws money at everything. i can already hear "please go private for this/that/the other" so i might wait as long as i can to tell her. she means well but it comes from snobbery rather than anything else x

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 19:23

FX for a lot of positive Opks/smiley faces ladies 😉😉

Charley2016 · 19/02/2017 20:02

Oh Bella sorry about your mum. My DHs mum lives abroad now but when his sister was pregnant she made her have an early scan and a gender scan with her when she didn't really even want to find out! No chance I'll be telling her early haha! I get worried about work too! I would want them to be the last to know but I don't know how people cope if there is morning sickness etc involved. I have 16 staff so I'm sure at least one would click on to something if I was ill.

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 20:32

@charley thank you, that's sweet of you x

well let's PMA the ass out of morning sickness too - i cosmically order you to have none of that nonsense 😘

i have a work issue too. i would need to tell certain colleagues as we work in a fairly unpredictabley aggressive/potentially violence hospital so if need to be forgiven for staying off ward. and i have a girl who works in my office who is about to commence IVF so id want to be careful of baby bombing her. xx

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 20:53

i caved 🙈

Itsjustaphase84 · 19/02/2017 21:00

There's a line!!!! Congratulations!!!

MissMagpie · 19/02/2017 21:03

Thanks Bella. PMA until my body tells me otherwise! I am also irritable but the in laws could also be to blame for that!!

We told my parents fairly early on when I was pregnant with my DS. I had a bleed at 7 weeks and had a scan and told a few more people close to us when that was all ok. We didn't do a Facebook announcement or anything like that until after 20 weeks when we knew everything was OK.
Let's hope a pregnancy announcement is something we all have to think about soon!

MissMagpie · 19/02/2017 21:04

Gosh Bella. There is something there for sure!! Eeeek!

Roseandbee · 19/02/2017 21:12

Bella Eeeek!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 19/02/2017 21:15

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 21:21

Blondienut · 19/02/2017 21:24

Exciting Bella! Are you going to do another one with early morning wee? !

Blondienut · 19/02/2017 21:25

Well I thought I saw a very faint line - what day are you?

BellaMoon · 19/02/2017 21:26
