#2 PMA all the way to BFP xxx

So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

Morning ladies, been a bit MIA this weekend. Decided to have a bit of a fuck it one! So DH took me for lunch yesterday and then brought me home wine for the evening so we got the duvet through and watched movies all night totally chilled! Haven't used conceive plus, no EPO, no grapefruit, no checking CM.....

I will try and stick to the SMEP though. I don't normally ov until day 14 or 15 but dtd last night at cd10 and will start testing with OPK probably day 13.

Moo hope you've had a lovely time away! I'm sure you won't have missed your ov and it's just waiting for you to come home

Hippy and Salem, huge well done on the not smoking, I can't imagine what it's like to crave something and not have it. Must take huge willpower so congrats! Also thank you again for the quotes and the list! So many BFPs to look forward too!

Archie well done on the CM!! I tried EPO last month and still didn't get any! I'd say you're in with a good chance this month with the 3days dtd!

Dolly I totally get you with the comfort eating! I've put on nearly 3 stone since the wedding and TTC! Luckily I'm over 6foot and had lost weight before for the wedding but I swear everyone thinks I'm pregnant and that's why they all keep asking lol!

Comfort eater here too Dolly & Charley. I binge when I'm stressed because I don't eat anything in the day time. Not good .

Do you find ppl assume you're trying and so everything you do is a bit under scrutiny?! Going out in a few weeks and the taxi looks to be really expensive so I'll offer to drive but I know I'll get all the girls (wrongly!) assuming I'm pregnant!! Don't know I just don't bother to offer so I don't have to have the 'no im not' chats

@sarah i know what you mean, i thought men were just "always raring to go". we were super active during our honeymoon, i almost went off him lol. but now that we're TTC it's like he's putting himself under pressure and it's taking a little longer to finish (sorry if that's TMI). he actually told me that when we were DTD during FW he was
the least horny he's felt. i might not tell
him when FW or peak ovulation is next month to avoid him feeling so under pressure xx

Charley a walk along the river sounds lovely . It is half term this week so I am spending the day doing sweet F. A. with the log fire turned up to full ! I might visit some family later, as well.
Helly all the time. If I need to ask someone to cover my class for 5 minutes because I need a wee, people assume I am pg. I had to go home last week because of a trapped nerve and people also assumed I was pg. Flipping' bonkers!

Tomorrow, DH and I are hoping to go to Oxford - anyone from there/been there and can recommend things for us to do?

Loving the slogan bella .... so tempted to set up a tTC online shop ... cheap branded opks, cheap pg tests branded too, supplements, pineapple, selection of tell you dp gifts, cds with songs that only contain the words baby, cute tell your friends and family cards, bella's branded slogan t shirts and free tampax when af arrives xxxxx

@salem just don't know if it's an evap line, bleed line or i'm needing my eyes tested! i thought i'd get BFN even just because it's too early but that has screwed with my already obsessed brain!

i went to a works even in heythrop crown plaza in oxford a few months ago - it's a lovely big estate with nice walks. although i was a little hungover for the walk with colleagues that morning 🙈 🍷

Bella what was weird about your result?? Fx it's weird in a good way!! I purposely don't tell my hubby what stage of my cycle I'm at so that he doesn't feel as much pressure. The only bit I let him know is when af is here so don't touch me!! I'm sure he can work it out from that if he wanted!!

Helly yeh I've had it for years to be honest (family all have babies super young, I've been with dp 8yrs, he's 10yrs older and I work in early years). So everyone always assumes and grandparents always want the next generation as I'm oldest. But definitely since we got married it's constant. I was off with a sickness bug in January and my boss actually asked in front of the whole office if she needed to put down pregnancy symptoms as my reason I'm trying to be healthy and not drink but it's more hassle than it's worth when I'm out. I have 3 weekends of nights out with family in March including a girls weekend away to Edinburgh and a cocktail class. Be my luck I'll get BFP this month and it will be impossible to hide

Salem our half term was last week. I was still working but it was nice and quiet as all my staff were off so got caught up with stuff. Have you got any plans for the week or are you going to enjoy the peace?

Hippy it would be so much easier if we could buy everything in one place wouldn't it! You could totally set up monthly packs to be delivered....

DH is totally confused as to why it's FW and there's no daily sex or conceive plus. He kept trying to get me to put my legs up last night after dtd and realising it was FW and seems quite concerned we're not dtd again this morning. Bless him!

Charley we are just going to have a relaxing week. I need to get my car washed, it hasn't been washed since December and I don't want my lovely shiny paint to rot because my car is my stand-in baby at the moment !!

i initially rubbed my eyes and looked again but i'm still at the stage of being in shock that i even ovulated so ill maybe get my head around any BFP by the time said child starts school lol - ill try wait now til mid week cos iv given myself a sore head thinking about it!

@charley i had my hen weekend in edinburgh and part of that was a cocktail masterclass - it was brilliant but you do end up quite tipsy (btw they do ask if there are any non alcoholic drinks to be made - they ask whoever organised it so if maybe give the heads up when you get your BFP this month)

Just done an opk and the line was slightly lighter than the test line so now I'm pretty sad as I'm thinking we've missed this month again!! Esp if we're dealing with slow swimmers here!! 😔 Xx

Bella that's probably the best idea! I just wouldn't have the willpower to not poas haha! But at least you will get a clear answer either way by mid week hopefully! FX!

I also did a cocktail class in Edinburgh for my hen weekend haha! Was it revolution by any chance? If I'm not drinking I plan on telling them so they don't make me drink in front of everyone and then I'll just pretend to sip the cocktails and slyly slide the shots to my mum haha!

Salem, I'm counting down the six weeks until Easter! I don't even think I'll take time off but be nice to have a few weeks of quiet to just work from home! Enjoy your quiet week! X

yes @charley same place! was such a laugh. those bar men have their work cut out for them don't they? well i hope you get your BFP and can go into full covert operations sipping away but stay sober! 1 of my bridesmaids was 8mths pg at my hen, she said we were a fucking nightmare delight to deal with whilst drunk but her sober 🙈
