So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

So plug in your stats and off we go xxx

Sent dp for a nanny nap as he was working today ... fx he gets some strength up to dtd meanwhile ... in operation tTC this is Stick no.7 ... I don't think it's gonna get any darker today and fx I've got operation preseed to do later so won't be able to poas again today thank fuck .... those cb digitals take five bloody minutes to give a result the pink ones turn in 3 mins !!!

Dp is sparko ATM helly .... I just hope and pray that after all this poas action he is actually in the mood ... I will hit the freaking roof if he's not !!!!!!!
Problem is he doesn't know how hard I'm trying tTC .... he doesn't want to start properly trying yet so it's even more tricky for me .... xxx

mrst excellent stuff! Just the kind of pma I like and need to hear. I'm quite enjoying my time off,so to speak,at the moment. That quiet part at the start of your cycle where nothing is doing. Couple more days and I'll be listening out for that egg being released Grin

cakes - thank you, I've just gone up to nudge him and he's still resting so fx he actually wakes up at all ... if we don't dtd tonight or in the next few days then I won't count this cycle .... but fx he will wake shortly and be ready for action xxx

helly I'm due on the 28th and I should wait until the 29th to test ideally. But I actually prefer the BFN to AF showing up without a warning. Is that weird? I feel more prepared for it. So I'll probably test tomorrow then again on Monday.

mrst I totally get that. Last couple of months I've tested early on the logic that I'll either get a BFP and be delighted or a bfn and settle into the fact that af is on her wicked way. Of course if it's a bfn what I actually do is convince myself I tested too early and I'm actually upduffed after all!! Useless!!

MrsT oooo fingers crossed for tomorrow!!! I think if you've got a BfN, you can be more prepared for The Bitch to arrive.

Hippy they are positive, the test has definitely picked up that LH surge so wake DP up with a nice surprise Wink!!!!

MrsT / Cakes welcome back :) I'm the same with pg tests - would rather have tested and know to expect af than her just arriving - likely at a really bad time since she's such a bitch!

Welcome back to everyone else who has been awol :)

I've had a busy day painting at my parents house (there's a running joke in our family that my sister is the favourite so apparently I earned 1000 brownie points today haha!) Anyway the point I'm getting onto is that while I spent the day physically painting, I actually spent most of it mentally decorating my nursery!! Visualisation is good for the pma and all that Grin Anyone decided on what their nursery theme will be? Most of our house has been painted in shades of grey (cue 50 shades jokes!) so a nice pale but warm grey I'm thinking with maybe wallpaper on one wall ... a white cot and white furniture ... and I really want a nursing / rocking chair.

Also who posted the link a while back to a site where everyone who got their bfp posted their symptoms on each dpo before they got their bfp not obsessing honestly I woke up this morning feeling very dizzy probably due to hunger I haven't really been symptom spotting since I think we missed ov this month but I know there's still a chance and I'm wondering how common dizziness is as an early pg symptom? I'm approx 8 dpo (but could be 6/7/8/9)

Moo I'm glad I'm not the only one doing this, at the mo if I'm online I'm either on here or on Pinterest looking at nursery ideas, was worrying I was getting myself too excited about things that aren't happening!

Oh moo - nursery chat! I really get a bit obsessed about how I would decorate (didn't get to do it with DS as we were flitting between countries and several different homes). But my DH is an artist and I can't wait to finally set him away on something spectacular! I love the idea of grey - I'm also a big fan of clouds and hot air balloons in very delicate shades .... oh dear I'm away to Pinterest!

I'm ashamed to admit I don't use pintrest, I downloaded the app when we got our house as people told me to for decorating ideas but I didn't really get it / understand it :s maybe I should give it another go for baby related ideas!

If you want something visualising it helps you to get it - I truly believe this. Oh is a golfer and we love playing mini golf together. I've had quite a few hole in ones when I concentrate and properly visualise the ball rolling into the hole - crap example but it definitely works! He's always shocked when it happens cos normally I'm a bit crap. Can't make it happen at every hole though ... very like ttc clearly gonna take a bit more practice and a bit more visualising before I get my hole in one!!

Oh moo I've not got to the symptom spotting stage yet but i know it's only a matter of time!! 6dpo tomorrow!
I'm at an engagement party tonight with all my friends who already have babies/kids and they're all so negative when it's coming to their lifestyle - hectic, no sleep, no time to do anything etc etc.
It makes me feel annoyed that they have no idea how much of a blessing they have but at the same time, I feel sympathetic because I understand how difficult it must be at times and I take long lies and relaxation so much for granted. Definitely need to relax and enjoy this TTC malarky a bit more!

dolly I have a sprig and also get annoyed when people spend their free time away from them moaning about how tough it all is. If you ever spot me on a precious night out I'm the one absolutely trollied, dancing like a fool and woohooing at every opportunity!! But so relish your lie in and the ability to be spontaneous if you can, they are to be cherished. But happily sacrificed for having a small person in your life Smile

Good morning .... well after all my posts yesterday I just wanted to give you all a quick update .... good news and bad news .... bad news dp was not up for dtd last night, he was too tired. I was disappointed but as I hadn't got that smiley I wasn't overly bothered. Instead I convinced him to cancel our plans for tonight so we can dtd later... which is excellent because after all that poas action yesterday.... I woke up this morning and finally got my smiley face .... so they'll be no more poas opk action for me now ... thank god ... I couldn't have gone another day holding my wee for 4 hours at a time :)))
