#2 PMA all the way to BFP xxx

So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

So plug in your stats and off we go xxx

moo good productive day for you then - not just painting your dad's room but participating in some visualisation.... love it :)) I haven't even thought about the nursery yet or even the buggie ... but I do look at baby clothes :))) and have to stop myself buying them

dolly I get upset when people with dcs complain too ... they don't realise how lucky they are to have them ... at least we will appreciate being woken up in the middle of the night :)))

moo she was 2 in November. And very easily conceived. Hence my frustrations this time around and need for support!

Morning ladies, catching up on this, this morning made me properly smile! Hippy you completely reminded me of myself the other day with all the sticks! Why can't our bodies just be simple? So glad you got your positive now though? How long is your normal LP?

MrsT you properly made me laugh with your post too! Especially the Doreen's part! Again, why can't things just be simple? Sorry about your bfn, but as you say, you still have a few days before you are due so still plenty home for our first BFP.

Moo love nursery chat! My house is also mainly 50 shades of grey 😂 I don't home to be here much longer as we will hopefully buy something in the later half of the year. But when it is nursery I'm thinking probably all white with some soft grey and pastel yellow. Quite simple with cot, chest of drawers and a huge comfy chair. On symptom front I read a thread the other day where everyone said that dizziness was their first sign so FX! When are you testing?

I was schooling my niece last night by watching mean girls. Burst out laughing at the gym instructors 'if you have sex, you will get pregnant, and did.' I swear everything and everyone told us in our younger years it was easy as pie!

Got another DTD in last night. So three days in a row,fx it's enough. Think I ovulated yesterday with the cramps but I guess could still be today!

I had already chosen the stuff for the nursery with the first pregnancy. I guess I should of held of in looking until after the 13 week scan in hindsight but you can't help yourself. But I've pushed all that aside. I can't visual yet because it reminds me of what we lost. I won't get too excited this time until way into the pregnancy which seems terrible. But it's just protection mode!

I have two baby grows hanging in the spare wardrobe ☹️☹️

hippy that's the problem. I don't know because we were sort of free styling! But if I did conceive ovulation was likely to have taken place on the 14th. Then I had a very tiny pink bleed on Friday which would have been 10 DPO - so today is 12 DPO. In theory. And basically just guess work!

Morning charley - thank you for reassuring me that I'm not the only poas opk addict 😘 In the past 3 months I've only ever tested with first morning pee and only once a day which has meant I've only ever used 3-4 pee sticks in any given cycle .... but because I've been late ovulating this month I started to panic clearly and spent the best part of yesterday peeing on sticks and driving myself and you guys insane for which I profusely apologise. My lp is usually 12-14 days. I'm just praying to god that dp is up for dtd later so at least then I'll be in with a chance as I think Thursday (last time we dtd) was just a tad too early.

anna completely understand why you'd be cautious protection is crucial but I'm sure all will go well next bean will stick ... our PMA energy will have built up nicely by then and we will all be here for you every step of the way xxx

Hippy don't worry! Nobody is driving anyone crazy! We all know how you feel and I was exactly the same when mine was late 2 months ago. Thankfully last cycle and this cycle were back to positives on day 14 so I don't think it messes up future cycles. Hope your dh is in the mood later for you.

Anna so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how difficult it must be but I totally understand why you would go in to survival mode. I really hope you get your BFP soon lovely.

anna I miscarried at 9 weeks with my first pregnancy (I'd had some bleeding so got an early scan which showed a pregnancy sack and no baby,it had died very early on) and the next time we got a BFP we just went into survival mode. Didn't believe it or get excited until much later on in the pregnancy and I didn't buy anything until about 30 weeks! Really hope you get your BFP soon hun. Those first weeks are a worrying time but all fade into nothing once things start to progress. Same with all this TTC. We'll read back on this once all the spring bfps have occurred and wonder what all the fuss was about!! xxx

Loving the Nursery chat! Unfortunately, we do not have any spare rooms to turn into a Nursery so I can't even set up a Pinterest board . We really need to move to a bigger house but moving costs are so much and I love our location.

Charley - love the combination white/grey/yellow that will be lovely :) lol at mean girls, great film. You set your neice straight so she doesn't have unrealistic expectations like we all did! I think my bfp is due on Saturday 4th (although my last few cycles have been 30 or 31 days which would be Sunday or Monday). I will try and hold out to Sat but will probably be poas from Wed!!

Anna so sorry for your loss and completely understandable that you would go into protection mode. Were you doing smep this month? I've lost track of who was and who wasn't but the 3 days in a row thing is smep so I'm thinking you were? In any case it sounds like you have done as much as you can so fx for you bfp this month :) also hope u feel better soon!

Cakes - so sorry for your loss too0. Fx for your bfp soon too - a 2/3 year age gap between your dd and new baby will be perfect - the sort of age gap i would like in an ideal world. Fx we're reading this back and wondering what the fuss was about very soon! :)

Salem - enjoy the last day of half term. Doing nothing is standard for a Sunday for us (easy like Sunday morning and all that!) so enjoy! :)

Sorry bfp 4/3

Yes we gave SMEP a go this month but I altered it slightly. So DTD every other day from CD5. But I started my 3 days of bonking when I noticed my EWCM. As normally that's a couple of days before my
OPK. Figured that it's your body best sign of when your most fertile so for me that made sense. An when I get my positive OPK sometimes I have ovulation pains the same day so sometimes my happens not far apart. So would rather get some Doreen's up their bit earlier!

So we DTD

CD5, CD7, CD9, CD11

EWCM appeared on CD13 so then we DTD CD13, CD14 and CD15.

CD15 being yesterday that tested with my positive OPK. But I was crampy yesterday so think I actually ovulated CD15 same day as OPK. Don't feel anything today.

Will follow SMEP though and DTD again tomorrow for one lucky last shot. Too tired to think about that today 😂😂

Thank you charley i did my own head in yesterday so I know I must have annoyed you guys! Fxls later ... it's so touch and go whether he's in the mood as he works so much it's ridiculous. I've asked him to stop doing it but it's not really getting through as much as I'd like! I need to relax today and get rid of all the stress from yesterday .... it's so hard to relax when you've got a finite time window and your dp isn't fully on same page xxx

salem no flash for me either straight to smiley which is kind of irritating as you pay extra for the dual testing and then you get the same result as the pink ones ... oh well at least i know I'm gonna ovulate this month that's the main thing. Let's just hope his Doreen's are gonna find the egg ... I can't make it any easier for them than I am already .... if only I could give them google maps ... love that :)))
