#2 PMA all the way to BFP xxx

So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

So plug in your stats and off we go xxx

Hippy I think you will ovulate in the next 12-48 hours with those tests. The Boots one made me jump - I thought it was a BFP then!!!! You will be set if you can DTD this weekend.
Cakes I agree!! Your little toenail (discreet area!!!) turns green to let you know you are ovulating!

Ive bought some B6 vitamins from Boots today. Apparently they help lengthen your luteal phase?

I would definitely say that's a positive! I'd definitely get dtd tonight.

Woah - so I've been off the thread for a couple of days because of a horrible head cold sulking about a BFN and there is so much new chat! Are most people in the TWW at the moment? Anyone still holding out for a BFP in Feb?
So, I've had a wobbly couple of days and it's not been helped by my cavalier attitude to TTC which means I don't know for sure when I ovulated etc. But my BFP is still due on the 28th of Feb. Last night I thought AF had arrived because I had a tiny bit of pink on the loo paper. But nothing since. However I've had a BFN on a frer this morning. That and being full of bogeys has made me a bit teary. But DH is on toddler duty and I'm tucked up in bed having some me time scouring the internet for all things TTC

Hi hippy thank you for virtual flowers! Sorry you are having a stress with OPKs. I went for coffee with my best mate yesterday and she came with a stash of unused obviously unused why write that MrsT? OPKs for me in case the witch gets me again this month. So I will no doubt become a total POAS addict - I'm bad enough with the pregnancy tests!
DH owes me on the toddler front because I dealt with an epic poonami tsunami at 3am. Seriously, Mr Teddy will never recover. It was like that scene from train spotting!

I can't believe how many times I've poas today .... I'm exhausted with it all so having a little lie down for an hour .... fx I get my lh surge later when i poas for the last time today ...
Need to conjure up some energy for dtd later ... and need to get my PMA back ... it's disappeared a bit today ... sorry ladies xxx

Oh hippy! Go and have a lie down and that PMA will be back before you know it! Just in case though I've compiled an accurate and scientific list of why you (all) can be feeling very positive about an upcoming BFP.

1. Obvioisly we've all been subconsciously waiting till spring for our BFPs. Spring BFPs mean winter babies. And there's nothing better than snuggling in the warm with that little bundle.
2. Newcastle is getting promoted and Sunderland will be relegated. The significance? Well clearly the universe has gone a bit out of kilter and how could you get pregnant when there has been a glitch in the matrix? This is also the reason that Trump is president. Thankfully it's been put right and normal service (and BFPs) can now resume!

1. Doreen. There was no Doreen before, only sperm. But this is a job for Doreen. Doreen is a woman who gets shit done, and she's getting it done this cycle!
2. I have possibly had too much cold and flu medicine.
3. You're all wicked. This is going to happen for you.

I think you will be absolutely well covered if you dtd tonight hippy. Your opks look
very close to positive, and you'll probably ov tomorrow. When I was obsessing big time about ttc, I actually read a couple of the medical articles on the topic. One of them said highest likelihood of conception if dtd day before or day of ov. Two others said best days were two days and one day before, as well as ov day. I'm not sure how to link to articles, but can try if anyone is interested. Although I guess we already know this it's just nice to see it in a medical journal (at least for nerdy people spending their time on ttc) But back to the point: tap yourself on the shoulder and relax, you nailed it this time, and all you need to do (except for dtd tonight) is to just enjoy not being pregnant because it probably won't last long

Anyway, if we all get upduffed and have babies in the winter, we won't need to spend lots on an expensive maternity winter coat. Also, if one is upduffed throughout summer, all one needs to do is shove on a Maxi dress and be done with it!
