So we've maxed out our first thread, the positivity is building up nicely and we're joyfully moving on to a brand new thread...

This thread is for anyone TTC and is bursting with positivity, love and support as we cruise towards our BFP's.

New rules instead of saying AF due we say BFP due ...
Also you do not have to add your age or what cycle number you're on if you don't want to ...

The ultimate aim is to get everyone to destination BFP ASAP...
however the bus ride may take a little longer for some of us ...
it doesn't matter if you take the scenic route ...
as long you get there.

So plug in your stats and off we go xxx

@Bella LOL at radio gaga on the booze! I have a busy day on Saturday so think I'll use that as my excuse not to go too crazy! I may cave and test on Friday night before I go...although I probably think it'll be better not to!

sarahboro1 · 20/02/2017 20:24

Thanks Archies that's really useful info esp re dtd timings and opks!! Great news that you're bloods were fine too!! Xx

Moo31 · 20/02/2017 20:27

Hello all!

I caught up earlier but didn't have a chance to reply.

Bella - I def thought I saw something on your 1st pic ....

Salem - interested to hear about these ov cramps. Do you get them before / during / after ov? I've never really thought about it but I had af like sharp pains yesterday, very brief.

I'm on cd 18 today so i think i must have ov'd yesterday and we missed it cos I was away. Wasn't able to opk Thurs, Friday's didn't work and Sat evening was a faint line as was Sunday morning but I did one last night then this morning and this afternoon and they were negative. I'm gutted. A lost opportunity which means my bfp is now 6/7weeks away rather than 2 weeks away :(:(:( we're only in Feb and my bfp isn't now due until April. I know I should put this into perspective and there's nothing I could've done but I am so annoyed at missing it!

Speaking of putting things into perspective I had a meltdown tonight as the plumber didn't put the freestanding bathtap where I wanted it. There might be a logical plumbing related reason but I had a meltdown as it doesn't match my diagram or instructions ... there were tears! I'm now sulking and not sure I can see past it! (I don't think this point and the missing ov point are unrelated ...) I was thinking I might post in AIBU to show oh I am absolutely not being unreasonable but the people who comment on those posts are fierce and might say I am being unreasonable and I'm not sure I could take the mean comments!!

I just want to scream / punch things / eat chocolate / drink wine

Not a very pma post - sorry! Flowers

Ps [diamond]
Pps I'm from Northern Ireland. Anyone here from my neck of the woods?

Moo31 · 20/02/2017 20:31

Archies - that's really helpful advice thanks for sharing!
Sarah - lol at your outburst. It is a bit stressful though so maybe your poor oh was feeling the pressure! :(
Dolly - that's great you're into the 2ww I'm going to follow yours since I won't have my own and i have fx you get your bfp this cycle!!

ArchiesMamaBird · 20/02/2017 20:33

Oh moo we all have days like that! Some days I can overreact at the simplest thing, when the majority of the time I'm super laid back!

Oh and I'm from the West Midlands, a town just outside Birmingham

Dollydaydream2829 · 20/02/2017 20:37

Awch Moo sorry to hear you've missed your positive surge but did you manage to DTD at all?? Even if you've missed a positive reading doesn't necessarily mean you're out this month?? Also, keep testing just incase you've not O'd yet??
I'm a Scottish Burd as well!

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 20:40

thanks all for the luteal phase advice. i was partly right (ok completely wrong but in a right kinda way), in that it is the same but only for yourself so every cycle luteal phase is the same.

i don't have previous cycle to compare as my first and only cycle in donkies years came on sat 28th jan and i ovulated approx 12/13 days later.

will be glad to get this cycle out the way so i can stop assuming and know for sure.

thanks again y'all xx

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 20:41

och aye the noo @dolly 😂

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 20:42

@archies so pleased you had all positive news at the docs and thanks for the DTD advice. 🙈 we DTD every day during FW ooopsie

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 20:44

@sarah you're bitch fit sounds acceptable to me. i'd have been temped to wake him up every 2 hours to ask how his sore head was 😂

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 20:46

@moo did you DTD in FW tho? i'm sure you mentioned you did so, unless it's going to help you relax and enjoy the TWW then i wouldn't count you out at all xx

bakingmad83 · 20/02/2017 20:48

Ladies, I can't keep up with this thread! Trying not to use technology much in the evening to spend proper time with DH and can't really get on computer in day with DS about. Tried to restart ttc when breastfeeding thread, but it's a bit more negative the chat.

Thanks for sharing the info Archies!

hellybellyjellybean · 20/02/2017 20:51

@bella fingers crossed later this week is a bfp for you! Ha ha @sarah I can't believe he fell asleep, def give him an elbow 'by accident' to wake him up!

About 4 miles outside of Manchester (but from Middlesbrough!)

Moo31 · 20/02/2017 20:54

We dtd last Tuesday (cd12) and last night (cd17). My cycles have been 30/31days so the ov calculator says ov today or tomorrow ... we'll dtd tomorrow night and I'll keep opk'ing. I am hoping the raspberry leaf tea might have made my cycle longer somehow ... clutching at straws!!

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 21:00

@moo i wouldn't say clutching at all, i think you're in as much as the rest of us chic xx

sarahboro1 · 20/02/2017 21:06

Lol thanks moo, Bella and jelly!! I kept huffing and flapping the duvet so he woke up frequently!! 😂

Good to meet a Boro girl on here helly!! 👍🏻 Xx

BellaMoon · 20/02/2017 21:16

think this describes a few of us today hehehe

hellybellyjellybean · 20/02/2017 21:19

I had wondered if you were a Middlesbrough 'boro'! Give him a bit of a kick Grin do ppl drink during their 2ww??x

mrsbarnettsbaby · 20/02/2017 21:23

Hi all. I'm in Lincolnshire. We dtd every Fri, sat and sun as we don't see each other during the week generally speaking. Hence I don't bother with opks as there's not much point really. Maybe we should just do Fri and Sun though to give his sperm chance to rejuvenate. He does have a wank during the week to get rid of old sperm.

sarahboro1 · 20/02/2017 21:24

Just outside helly!! 😁

Ha ha Bella there must be something in the air!! Xx

hellybellyjellybean · 20/02/2017 21:30

I'm yarn but for the sake of mn said boro as no one ever knows yarm!

sarahboro1 · 20/02/2017 21:32

Know what you mean, love Yarm!! Xx

Moo31 · 20/02/2017 22:25

Bella - thank you! And that picture is def me today!! Xo

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 20/02/2017 22:33

Archies I am from the West Midlands too!

I think I have a short luteal phase. It's CD14 and no sign of ovulation on an opk. If I do ovulate on CD18, that only gives me 9-10 days for luteal - that's not good is it?

Charley2016 · 20/02/2017 22:35

Well just got another dtd in. OPKs starting to show a little something so hopefully positive tomorrow or Wednesday. Although.... I keep snapping with dh too haha so there definitely must be something in the air. He keeps trying to be funny (I think to relax me from thinking about dtd etc) but I'm just finding it irritating so he's been sent off to the living room to play the computer while I watch trash to in bed like a starfish Smile
