Hello. Im currently 3-4 DPO (days post ovulation) with AF/BFP (Aunt Flo/Big Fat Positive) due 22-25th Feb! Did plenty baby dancing so fingers crossed and have promised myself not to symptom spot or go Google crazy this time. Ive also swore not to test until 18th Feb ... Do i have anyone in similar place so we can support each other and talk (while avoiding google lol) xx

Nature if it makes you feel any better my lines were fainter the second day after my BFP. And I always found that ICs give fainter lines than branded tests. Also this early on, even though HCG is doubling each day it is still really low so lots of other factors (like what you ate and drank) could affect the strength of the line. Try not to worry so much! Says the girl who was peeing on sticks twice a day and obsessively comparing lines

Thanks Pingus, my brand test was a super strong line yesterday and came up right away so I'm hoping that's a good thing. AF not due for 1-5 days yet (I stopped tracking etc) so I'm a nervous nellie

Exciting news Nature!

One app says AF will arrive today & the other 2 apps say it's next weekend. I normally have about 4 days of spotting before she arrives in full force but nothing yet. No twinges or sore boobs yet which I normally get in the week leading up. Just needing to pee constantly this morning, and a very quick digestive system the last few days! Trying not to symptom spot but literally every itch could be a sign!

I had the quick digestive system for two days before testing. I actually thought I had a tummy bug which was zapping my energy and bloating me. It wasn't until someone kindly pointed out my greasy, sweaty skin that I added everything together and tested.

How are you doing today

Still very quick to get to the loo! TMI! And I very very rarely have that. It might be anxiety as I've had quite a difficult week too. Tempted to get a test today though just to check it out. Plus I've got a big party for my mums 60th this Sat and I will either be drinking lots, or preparing to defend my current state of childlessness to nosy people! If I'm not pregnant then I want to have as much time to process it before the party rather than find out on the day that I'm not. I'm surprised I've not started spotting yet though which is my definite sign AF is imminent. I usually have a week of that before she arrives. X

Could you test maybe Monday / Tuesday with a early detection test? Most of them can be used 5-6 days which would tie in with AF being due next weekend? I've got my fingers crossed for you! Do you have any other symptoms?

Not yet I don't think. More an absence of symptoms that I normally have with AF! I'm gonna get an early detection test for mid week!!! Eek!

So.. I cracked.. I'm 12 dpo today and I felt sorry for myself (I was meant to wait till Tuesday/wednesday morning) I didn't even wait till tomorrow's FMU but...... There was 2 lines [shocked] I honestly thought I was out this month (hence feeling sorry for myself..) I had no real symptoms like the last time I was pregnant, fingers crossed it's a sticky bean :S I must admit although I'm thrilled.. I feel terrified things will go wrong again too..

According to my 3 apps I'm anywhere between 7 & 14 DPO! 🤔 I seem to have a cycles that vary between 30 & 34 days and although I've tried to be consistent with OPK this month, the cheapies have shown they're getting progressively darker but never seem to quite get as dark as the control line. So I assumed I just missed the LH surge. But for some reason, the tests are still showing rather dark lines which I didn't expect as I had assumed I had ovulated a while back & just missed it. So not sure what that's about. Tonight I've started feeling the usual stirrings in my abs which I'm guessing means I can expect AF. But not out until that fat lady sings!

Ooo apple fingers crossed it sticks! I'll with hold the congratulations so not to jinx it! Will you keep testing for reassurance?

AJ they can pick up PG hormones... Do you think you could be? Would explain why it's still dark lines?

Update on me. Ten tests later and I'm still PG. 3+5 according to my apps but I had blood when I wiped tonight 😟 I'm hoping we were just a little too rough in our dirty dancing earlier but I certainly didn't feel anything wrong at the time? Can pregnancy make you more sensitive down there? I'm cramping pretty bad too but read that can be normal. I'm also stupidly bloated, I actually look like I have a bump already 😑 think it's just a waiting game for me now, I just want to hide and sleep until I hit 3 months...

I know it probably gets super-dull but would someone please tell me if I'm seeing things. AF now two days late and I had some brown discharge 3 days ago, which I never get but.

I'm. OK, done another IC this morning lol and it's calmed my nerves down. I think the bleeding was external last night but I'll keep a close eye on it. I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. Planning on telling DPs parents at the weekend. Mine already know so I could get some emotion support either way. When should I tell my work?

Congratulations Chaotickatie I can definitely see a faint line there. Retest again a few days and hopefully it'll be nice and dark xx.

Thank you AJ84 and Nature, though I'm still not convinced/trusting it.. I'm going to test again on Friday morning.. and go from there. Take each day as it comes and what will be will be.

Nature I'm glad you've had some reassurance about your bleed, definitely keep an eye on things but I have a feeling you'll be ok. I think I've got the exact dates as you or a day apart! 😀 I'm 4 weeks tomorrow (Tuesday 21st March) and I ovulated on the 7th of March. Hehe I hope all of our pregnancies are a happy healthy ones. xx

I'm not sure when you're legally meant to tell your work really? I was going to tell them after my 12 week scan before and I'm so glad I didn't any earlier as I think I would have found it all too difficult and awkward at work when the pregnancy didn't continue.. but that's just me. I've been feeling bloated and cramping too (which is what I've had previously) but I am so paranoid AF is going to start.. Technically due tomorrow.. I feel exactly the same as you.. I want to hide for the next 3 months! It gets tough socialising and trying to hide that you're pregnant/not drinking!

AJE84 that sounds confusing! If you're more towards 7 dpo and have a cycle of 30-34 days I think you've still got quite a while to wait till anything shows up on HPT BUT the fact that your OPK's are showing positive I agree with nature it could be a possibility that it's picking up on some HCG?
