Hello. Im currently 3-4 DPO (days post ovulation) with AF/BFP (Aunt Flo/Big Fat Positive) due 22-25th Feb! Did plenty baby dancing so fingers crossed and have promised myself not to symptom spot or go Google crazy this time. Ive also swore not to test until 18th Feb ... Do i have anyone in similar place so we can support each other and talk (while avoiding google lol) xx

Just checking in. How you all getting on? I got another BFN when i landed myself in A&E the other night, was expected but tonight a family member has announced baby #2 is due and its been like a punch to the gut. 3 months ttc and ive already had enough. 😞 am i being irrational here?

Hello lovely 2ww ladies.. It's really been a while! I've been so busy with work lately I hadn't even had time to think about what's been going on with my body, which has actually been quite refreshing as it turns out time seems to have flown by.

Nature sorry to hear about your BFN, how many dpo's were you when you tested? It could be still very early if we're on similar cycles. It's always a punch to the gut when you hear people are pregnant.. :( I'm having trouble with people asking me when do I plan to have children.. :( 3 months is still very early stages of trying.. As hard as you try not to let it become an all consuming thing.. My friend had been trying for over 2 years and when she was just about to go down the IVF route she became pregnant and is now due next month! :) I keep thinking of the happy, positive stories to get me through it. For me it has been 2 months of trying with 1mc and I still feel I'm just scratching the surface compared to so many. I can imagine my next sentence could be incredibly overrated but staying positive is key :).

I've been diligently doing the OPK's this month and plenty of baby dancing so we shall see.. I'm currently CD 23, 8DPO, had some cramping yesterday and today but not much else. How are you ladies doing? If there's anybody out there..

OnNaturesCourse · 15/03/2017 18:10

apple about 5/6 but was reassured they'd pick it up... Bit confused as it wouldn't have implanted by then! But done a home test about 9dpo and was bfn. I'm about 11dpo now. I'm super confused but apparently not PG!

Hello nature and apple. Hope you're. It's good.

nature so sorry about the bfn but it's still early! I have everything crossed for you. Sorry to hear you were in A&E. Hope you're ok.

You're not being irrational at all. Ttc becomes all consuming and makes it feel a bit like life is segmented into 2 week periods of time involving lots of horrible waiting and hoping! Yes very hard hearing of others getting pregnant - although you're obviously happy for them, it's still tough. apple is right, though, that happy stories keep you going during the ttc craziness.

apple hello lovely! Great to hear that time is flying and even better that you have such a positive attitude, as always. Hope its contagious! Grin

When are you planning on testing? (You are so impressive at not breaking and testing early!). No idea what to say to those asking when you're going to have children! I never perfected a good answer as I was always a bit taken aback when people were brazen enough to raise it. Such a rude thing to ask!
Xxx

teaandbics · 16/03/2017 15:46

Hope you're both good even Confused

AJE84 · 16/03/2017 19:15

Evening ladies! Nice to get the conversation going again!

Well Ovia messed my fertile week up (as per previous post) so I've not got 3 fertility apps on the go 😂 Each is ever so slightly different! Ha! It's been ovulation this week so I've been POAS every day for the last 10 days. Using internet cheapies - getting darker but not quite as dark as the control line.

One app is saying I can test on Saturday but I think I'm gonna wait a week until the other 2 apps suggest I should be expecting AF!

How's everyone doing?!

OnNaturesCourse · 16/03/2017 22:33

I just about fell off the loo. 12dpo. Am I seeing things? Pray for a sticky bean

Ah nature that's very confusing and I agree too, it seems way too early for even an implantation at 5/6dpo.. Hmmm.. I'd wait it out.. as I've mentioned before I had the faintest line on the day I was due AF and retested 2 days after AF was due and got a fast dark positive.Though I'm always an avid wait-it-outer! ps. So sorry to hear you were in A&E! I hope you're doing better xx

Teaandbics! How are you darling? Lovely to see that you're still with us :) If my positivity helps anyone else that would be wonderful ❤️. I'm planning on testing either next Tuesday morning (day AF is due) or Wednesday (AF 1 day late) It's sweet that you think I'm this zen like buddhist monk that has the ability to not break but in all honesty I'm just tight or in other words 'being frugal' hehehe! No but in all honesty the despair of getting a negative AND then on top of that the added layer of 'bloody hell I just pissed away another £5/10' I can do without!

AND!! Talking of BEING BRAZEN WHEN ASKING WHEN WE ARE PLANNING TO HAVE CHILDREN!?! (Sorry about the capslock but I am SOOOO infuriated!!) This happened yesterday AFTER I had posted about people asking.. I bumped into one of my mother in law's friend's in the super market, she's very sweet but she proceeded to rub my belly and ask 'Any plans??' I just gently laughed and said 'not yet' but inside I was saying.. EXCUSEEEME?!! GET YOUR WANDERING HANDS OFF ME WOMAN!!.. yeah so that happened..

AJE84 I feel so basic with just 1 app! I've found it's definitely best tracking the ovulation day with OPK's. I've been actually doing my OPK's around 3-8pm each day and when I think it's getting nearer/getting darker I do then twice a day as opposed to once a day as I worry that I might miss my 'peak'. Then again if you're DTD everyday/every other day this isn't really an issue but I just like knowing exactly when it happened! I'll have my fingers crossed for you for Saturday!! xx

Today's symptoms, I had light cramping in the morning and now just gone back to normal. I almost started wondering if my period was about to start yesterday but it's way too early for that! Hmmm I wonder if it could have been implantation cramps?.. meh! We shall see :)

appleseedpip · 16/03/2017 22:43

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!! NATURE!!!! I YOU'RE PREGNANNNTTTT!!!!

appleseedpip · 16/03/2017 22:43

Ps. Nails have their game on gurl!

OnNaturesCourse · 16/03/2017 22:44

😂 it's too early... DP refusing to get excited until I'm past what would have been AF due date.

Thanks, love my nails! All my own too!

appleseedpip · 16/03/2017 22:48

Oh nature I'm so so pleased for you!!!! Lets hope it's a sticky little bean Grin Yay!! (starts doing a celebration dance). Will your AF be due in 2 days time? Have you ever had a BFP before? (starts rummaging around for a graduation hat).

OnNaturesCourse · 16/03/2017 22:54

No. First time so I'm super nervous. There's a battle of wills going on between my heart being super excited, and my head saying behave and wait. AF according to my app is another 7 days away but I ovulated early.. About CD10 ... So I guess it could be due anywhere from 2-6 days.

Omg is this actually happening?

Nature that's very disciplined and thoughtful of you to not get too carried away. It's hard not to but I totally understand why you would. I'll wait with you too for the next 6 days passes :) But for the mean time a huge congratulations ❤️ xx

OnNaturesCourse · 16/03/2017 23:34

Thank you. I've got a super stressful week coming up at work so will need to try to take it easy!

Ahhhh nature, congratulations lovely!! I was so happy when I saw this. Totally understand you staying calm for now (but looking forward to saying woo hoo properly very soon!) xxx

teaandbics · 17/03/2017 07:14

apple I'm ok thanks lovely. Yes still here - keen to see how everyone is doing. (I owe you a message, I'm so sorry!). And yes your positivity is wonderful (has helped me loads). You're resolve is impressive, whatever the motivation! Smile

My god. How rude was that woman?! She rubbed your tummy?? I'm so sorry. That really isn't on!

I also found opks best for tracking ovulation. Will be thinking of you on Tuesday and AJ tomorrow.

Still smiling about nature's post xxx

PingusMistress · 17/03/2017 07:37

Congratulations nature, how exciting! Make sure you have plenty of sticks in the house, you will probably be peeing on them every day just to check you haven't imagined it Smile

I can't believe the cheek of the tummy rubbing woman, I couldn't stand someone invading my personal space like that, let alone the insensitive comments that went with it!

I'm still lurking between the conception and pregnancy boards, 7+5 but still cautious as things have gone wrong at this stage before.

OnNaturesCourse · 17/03/2017 08:12

Thank you ladies, feels like I dreamt it. Getting horrible cramps though so trying to remain calm.
