Ugh. I lost it again.

Woke up on Sunday and knew something was wrong. Convinced DH to let me test early and sure enough my line was only a whisper again. Glad I did, meant that I was prepared today when the bleed started at work. Going to the doctors tomorrow morning to explain the situation and see what they suggest.

Numb right now. It'll probably hit me in a few days. CD 01, Cycle 7.

FairyAnn · 08/05/2017 16:57

So sorry to hear Loxy

beautyisfoundwithin · 08/05/2017 17:41

So sorry Loxy Flowers I hope you get some answers from the doctor.

bassetmum · 08/05/2017 17:44

Oh no I am so sorry for you loxy. Try not to beat yourself up over it. Hopefully the drs will give you some answers.

This is going to sound really odd but my af today is medium to heavy flow, a bit clotty and mild cramps. I am actually really happy about this as all my periods up till now have been horrendous cramping and really light bleeding like only one pad a day light even on day 1. Oh the things that please us these days.

Happy birthday beauty. Sounds like you had a great time.

I envy you being able to go to things like that flora. Its still to raw for me to have many dealings with cancer things after my dad passing.

DancingUnicorn · 08/05/2017 18:07

Loxy I'm so sorry. That's so shit. Hope the drs can do something for you. Think they can refer you for more testing. Thinking of you. 💐

KittyKat73 · 08/05/2017 19:33

Loxy I am soo sorry to hear this, i hope that you are ok and the drs are able to help you guys

Basset Sorry to hear AF has caught you, its soo frustrating espcially when we do everything we are suppose to do at the right times and nothing, so frustrating. hope you are ok.Sorry to hear about all the baby bombing too, it really doesnt help when we feel like this.

beauty hope you had a lovely birthday :)

Flora Hopefully this will be your month! can i ask are the tests private or nhs?

Fairyann Sorry to hear it was negative, i havent tempted but have heard other girls say its best to do it at the same time every morning as soon as you wake up and to try not to move while you sleep. its the main reason i havent temped to be honest because i starfish in every position and direction when i sleep haha!

Think im in for another long cycle. Drs said I have to back when we have been trying a year before they do anything else so that will be June. Sad but at least if we go then they can hopefully sort out whatever issues i have, Just feel like im wasting time until then. Was at a party with adorable new born and very heavily pregnant SIL feeling very jealous but was lovely to see how happy the parents are constantly focusing on that will be me one day i honestly dont think ill ever complain of a sleepless night or explosive nappy!

bassetmum · 08/05/2017 19:41

OMG my other half just opened an amazon package and he's bought himself a sperm testing kit to try at home Shock its made by one step so the same as the ic opks and hpts. It might not be completely accurate but wow I'm i shock!!!

Oh no kitty. Im sorry for the long cycle again.

Eva30 · 08/05/2017 19:57

Thanks beauty and flora
flora yeah I was impressed how quick you get in for SA too. I love the phase where you're feeling good and optimistic! I'm now 6dpo and the total opposite, so bloated I feel like I'm a stone heavier! Yeah he said it must have been infection, probably urinary tract.
beauty happy belated birthday! You should have taken a trip up North, it was lovely here at the weekend Smile good to hear you enjoyed it and it took your mind off TTC
loxy I'm so sorry - definitely good idea to See Doc, sounds like you may need progesterone injections or another hormone to make the bean stick. Look after yourself.
kitty ugh nightmare. I know what you mean, for me cycles 9-11 I was just going along with no hope, waiting to hit month 12 and start tests.
basset wow, I didnt even know they did them!!! Let us know how it goes?!

beautyisfoundwithin · 08/05/2017 20:48

Thanks guys Smile

Sorry to hear about your dad basset. That's great about your OH's Amazon purchase though! Good luck with that!

Actually I'm not in the UK Eva. We moved to southern Germany a couple of years ago. We're right in the mountains. Normally I love the weather, hot in the summer and real snow in the winter! Glad you had lovely weather this past weekend though.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 08/05/2017 20:54

Oh lots to catch up on. I'm on my phone so sorry if I get names muddled..
So sorry Loxy, look after yourself.

Sorry AF got you Basset and for negative test Fairy.

Good news re Eva's fiancé's swimmers.

You're right Kitty, I always solemnly promise that I would not moan about pregnancy symptoms or sleepless nights if I could just have them I'd be over the moon.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 08/05/2017 20:58

Oh and a belated happy birthday to Beauty.

I have NHS consultation on Friday. Might be worth making a GP appointment Basset, it's 6 months since I first saw GP and only getting hospital consultation now (it's been 4 months since blood tests and SA all completed).

Loxy4527 · 08/05/2017 21:23

Thanks everybody. I'm really hoping that the doctor can start some investigations into what's going on.

Sorry I vented without acknowledging anyone!

Beauty, Happy belated birthday, sounds like you had a great time.

Kitty Ugh, I understand that the whole waiting a year thing is to save money and all but it really sucks. One twisted upside of all these MCs is maybe I'll get to skip the queue. I think everyone should be able to have a check up when they start trying to rule out any basic problems.

Basset That's adorable that he thought to get one, I had no idea you could buy them. Good luck!

DH is finally home so I can cuddle up to him. Will let y'all know what the doc says.

florafoxtrot · 09/05/2017 10:45

So sorry Loxy - I'm not a Doctor but does sound like there is some sort of hormone deficiency that is hopefully very easily treated and in the circumstances they should now start investigating that. Hope you are OK, so sorry that you are having to go through this.

Hi Kitty - tests are currently through the NHS - (obviously I'm getting totally ahead of myself) but if there are no issues and we are unexplained infertility then we need to have been trying for 2 years before we quality for IVF so I think we'd likely just pay. I know it is a crapload of cash but we are lucky enough to be able to afford it if required. Sorry you are having a tough time at the moment, the long cycles must be so frustrating.

Happy belated birthday to Beauty

I'm CD10 so gearing up for ovulation hopefully but my boobs are sore! What is that all about....?!

KittyKat73 · 09/05/2017 15:09

Basset ooh yeah let us know how your partner gets on with using them!
Baguette hope your appointment goes well on friday
Loxy yeah i would be asking the GP to start some investigations, you have been through more than enough heartbreak they need to make sure that doesnt happen again.
Flora i didnt realise its 2 years for IVF i think we would be the same and save up money to go private

florafoxtrot · 09/05/2017 15:12

It is 2 years here (I'm in Scotland) for unexplained infertility but might be a different set of requirements in another area. Incidentally if there is something wrong you don't have to wait - which sounded like a bit of a double edged sword to me.

Urgh so cannot be bothered with work today!

Loxy4527 · 09/05/2017 19:40

Doctor was lovely and understanding, he's booked me in to have some blood tests. Just looking through the paper work, that's a lot of tests! He's advised against trying again this month to give my body a break which tbh I couldn't agree more with. Def don't feel up to the pressure emotionally. Other than that it's sticking with the folic acid, eating right and getting exercise. A month of looking after myself, no bad thing. Should hear back from tests on the 1st of June, we'll take it from there.

beautyisfoundwithin · 09/05/2017 20:27

Good luck for Friday Baguette.

Glad to hear the appointment went well Loxy. I think taking a break for a month to concentrate on you sounds like a great idea.

KittyKat73 · 09/05/2017 20:38

Flora yeah is it a bit of a double edged sword, Thanks to be honest i hadnt really looked into things like 1 year GP appointments and IVF as i just assumed It would happen as soon as we started trying ( HA!) Hope work went quickly for you today Wine look after yourself :)

Loxy I completely agree with giving yourself a month to concentrate on you Flowers thats great news though that the GP was so understanding hopefully the tests give you some answers

beautyisfoundwithin · 09/05/2017 20:49

Oops accidentally posted too soon! Was going to say that I'm having the usual AF is nearly here symptoms - sore boobs, mild cramps, backache, except that she's not due for another week. Very strange. If this month's cycle is any shorter than 32 days it would literally be the first time ever.

bassetmum · 09/05/2017 21:15

I think your dr is on to something there loxy. At the end of the day out mental and physical health is the most important.

Its amazing how different threads have such differing opinions. Another one I'm on has basically slated the OH tests that he bought on amazon. I know its not a conclusive accurate test like you would get from the drs but it's something my OH feels like he can do.

That's strange beauty. Youll have to keep an eye on it.

Its strange how there can be so many differences in what hoops and time limits you can have within one country flora.

LilSnooze · 09/05/2017 22:57

Hey... Can I join you ladies please?

Snooze
26
Cycle 1!
CD 5

We only decided to start TTC today... I've been waiting for 2 years for us to try so needless to say I'm very excited. Turning 27 in July and hoping for some luck before then. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks 2 years ago, so this is scary as hell too. Hope you don't mind me sneaking in!

pandarific · 09/05/2017 23:43

I'd like to join! Panda, 32 (33 in July). I've got PCOS and my period disappeared in Sept 2016, only to reappear on Thurs 27th April. Smile

pandarific · 09/05/2017 23:44

I think what kickstarted it was my losing some weight for our wedding - we got married on Friday! Have DTD twice since then - have everything crossed - roll on cycle 1!

KittyKat73 · 10/05/2017 09:38

Beauty let us know how you get on, do you know if you ovulated earlier this cycle?

Welcome lilsnooze so sorry to hear about your MC no wonder you feel terrified trying again. Good luck with TTC hopefully you wont have to wait too long and never know could be pregnant before your birthday!

Welcome Pandarific oh wow! that must have drove you crazy waiting that long for your AF to appear! mine disappeared for 3 months at the start of the year and I thought that was bad! Congratulations on your wedding hope your back to shorter cycles now.

big news ladies yesterday i was CD59 today ..... CD1! shes appears ( right bloody before my hotub overnight stay but ill forgive since its means shes actually here) my first proper cycle and AF after provera Grin at least now i know when i get my intense sore nipples i must be ovulating.

Right this month the CB ovulation sticks will be getting used only problem is... when on earth do i start using them! im assuming my cycles will get shorter like they did last time dont want to use them too early but then dont want to miss it!

any suggestions?? ( its been so long i actually forgot how bad the cramps are laying in my self pitying bed with hot water bottle and ibuprofen)

beautyisfoundwithin · 10/05/2017 11:36

It's a shame your OH's tests are being slated on another thread basset. Perhaps they won't be 100% accurate, who knows, but regardless of how efficient the tests turn out to be, I think it's really great that your OH is being so supportive and proactive about TTC Smile

Welcome Snooze & Pandarific!

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage Snooze. Fingers crossed for you this time around.

Congratulations on your wedding Pandarific!!

Yay to AF Kitty (that isn't often said on this thread!!). With the
OPKs, do you have any idea how long your 'normal' cycle might be?? As for me, symptoms still there, although not that strong just lingering in the background if that makes sense. Strange. No idea when/if I ovulated. Was the first month trying OPKs and according to them I didn't ovulate at all... Confused
