I'm having a bad month of it. Currently in fw but as I've got a lot of very stressful and annoyingly important exams next week we've not even managed to dtd once. If I'm not at work, I'm in the library and when I finally get home I'm so stressed I just want to cry.

Think I'm just going to chalk this month up as a fail.

The earliest I can pick up a test is tomorrow afternoon. But I'm having stomach cramps since Saturday and like some sort of vaginal cramp too (TMI). Really really trying not to get my hopes up here!

So am 36 today - not overjoyed as really thought I'd be pg by now, but oh well! DH just came in with a muffin and a candle singing happy birthday, gave me a nice necklace, is taking me out for dinner tonight and a show tomorrow night - I'm being spoiled! Avoiding the 🍷 though as I don't want to pick a fight while memories of the last one are still a bit fresh.

FW kicked off yesterday and we've beed dtd since EOD since Sunday - I so hope this is our month!

Blanket so sorry you are getting stressed out. I know ttc is hard but life can definitely get in the way.

AF got me this morning guys! Feeling rubbish but need to go to work! I just don't get it, me and hubby are both 24/25, healthy lifestyles, AF shows up like clockwork but yet this is now cycle 13!!!

Zohz im sorry that af got you hugs to you. Have you got in contact with your gp now you've had 12 cycles?

I went to the GP just yesterday for a cough, and was going to mention it, but I decided not to at the last minute..

So sorry zohz! Definitely mr toon to your GP now you're over 12 months, there may be something easily fixable and they should do all the basic tests straight away for you.

Blanket that does sound incredibly stressful! Maybe having the month off to concentrate on your exams is a good idea, then you can give TTC your all next month? GL with your exams too

baguette I'm having exactly the same as you, spotting for up to 4/5 days before period, and LP is only 10 days normally. Have had 2? Cycles in last 6 months with no spotting before 10dpo, soo frustrating!!

pj's please be careful not to tiptoe on eggshells too much, I know in reality it's necessary to keep the peace but don't compromise yourself, you did nothing wrong and it's worth just being aware that you need to be vigilant of changing your behaviour totally to appease him. Happy birthday, hope you're able to relax properly and enjoy

Eva fingers tentatively crossed for you..

I'm spotting at 2 and 3dpo this month, so I'm out and onto cycle 10, had smear and pelvic on Tuesday, Dr I saw was absolutely f-ing useless and said they don't start investigations for people my age for 2 years which is not what NHS website says. She said for early spotting before period they'd normally put me on pill to regulate hormones but not as I'm wanting "this baby"... Treated like a silly little girl with no clue. Told me weird spotting issue would likely be fine after pregnancy but if I'm bleeding starting from 2-6dpo most months how am I going to get pregnant? She has referred me for another pelvic scan (had one in Dec for ruptured cyst) refused to do bloods as they "wouldn't show anything useful". She's not my usual gp so hopefully mine may be more receptive to doing something.. Just wish I didn't want kids as that would be so much easier!

So fed up!

Sorry zohz book in with the GP to start mithering them, the earlier the better imo- they stopped saying no to me eventually!

blanket argh bad timing for fw. Focus on the exams like you are, at least them you'll have no regrets when the results come out, and I know it's frustrating to miss a cycle but sometimes it can't be helped. Don't be too hard on yourself - you sound like you're up against it at the mo!

pie wow, I'm gobsmacked at how useless that person was. What a fucking rude thing to say "this baby", they are supposed to help us get "this baby" when we are up against it, jeez. I really hope your usual gp comes back soon and is more helpful!! That has made me really mad!

I'm on cd28 and no sign of AF. I'm trying really really hard to not think about it because I'm worried about getting my hopes up and then BAM af will strike. I fly on Tues so if no sign by Monday I'll test then. Thanks all for the fx

zohz definitely get booked in with gp, start everything going and hopefully it'll help to feel like you're doing something. The lack of control is so difficult

Pjs hope you have a lovely birthday sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down. would think that surely you would be allowed a glass of wine since its your birthday but totally understand you dont want to rock the boat too much so soon after the incident.

Zohz Sorry AF got you i agree i would book with your GP and let them do their usual tests just to make sure everything is ok, if they all come back fine then at least you know your doing everything you can.

Blanket Good luck with your exams! I agree with Eva and Kaydee maybe focus on your exams this month at least when they are all out the way next month you can focus and enjoy DTD more instead of trying to squeeze it in and getting stressed.

Pie sorry to hear you had a horrible time with the Dr! infuriates me when i hear how some Drs can totally lack empathy! your obviously concerned about it all so why arent they trying to reassure and support you. Are you able to make another appointment with your usual GP?

CD6 Going out tonight for a friends 30th Birthday and planning on having a relaxed weekend. I have no idea what my cycle length will be this month so just going to start my CB ovulation testing tomorrow probably if AF has completely gone.

Hey everybody! Thought I'd pop in, I'd decided to take a week break from ruminating on TTC so I'll have a good read and catch up on everyone when I get home.

FW starts tomorrow, I spoke with DH and decided I do still want to give this month my best effort so I've got a new supply of OPKs, I figure that worked last month so hopefully it will again not charting, can't be bothered yet. No preggo tests in the house anymore though, I've decided it's just not helpful. Might not stop me panic buying them at 13dpo But I think it'll be better for me to not have them

Hope everyone is doing okay and getting ready for a nice weekend :)

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes 😃 Was a lovely day in the end - dinner and a couple of drinks with DH, it was like we had our lives back annoy and we just relaxed! Dinner and a show tonight, and dtd before - signs pointing to Ov over the next day or two which is right on time for where I am on CD11. You're right pie about walking on eggshells - we needed to just be normal around each other yesterday and it's done us the world of good.

Thanks ladies, I have been so snappy at poor DH, and god awful pains and backache, so haven't done much today except put a beef and bean bake in the oven, a slimming world special!

pjs I go through phases of that, I feel like that from about cd5-cd10. From cd1-4 it tends to be "I'm broken and can't have babies", from cd10-15 it's "ooo nearly fw, let's give it a good go" and from cd15-cd30 it's "am I, aren't I, no I'm not, never will be" and then it all begins again lol. My simplified life of TTC.
