Buggery do dah! AF is coming, I know it! I can feel her waiting in the wings Angry

Kaydee2017 · 12/03/2017 13:28

Sorry zohz! But you're not out until she arrives!!

Just posted this on another thread I'm on, so telling you ladies too;

Tentatively adding that I got my positive this morning.

Very very aware of what can happen, so we had a minute or 2 of excitement but I'd very much like to remain here for the time being if that's ok with you ladies?

KittyKat73 · 12/03/2017 15:20

Hey everyone!

Again due to my shifts i have hardly been on here but im nightshift this week so should be able to make more regular appearances on here :)

I feel like I have won an oscar because ..... AF appeared this morning :) Grin Wine . Finished Provera on Tuesday and AF has appeared today i went 102 days since my last Period (After a few cycles post pill were everything was normal) so happy to finally have AF appear to i can start tracking and get a move on to TTC. I have my CB Ovulation sticks ready and the dust blown off them since i bought them in decemeber thinking i would use them in january.... HA!. I have never used ovulation sticks before but since my cycles have been messed up i Think ill just start using them after my last day of AF lets see how long this cycle decides to last!

pjs My heart is honestly broken that you have had to go through all that this week. From reading what you have written on here and the other posts, the affect your DH actions have had on you it and his behaviour during and afterwards makes me so worried but glad that you have said he appears more remorseful and im really hoping once you have both have a proper chat and he has read your letter and realised how he has made you feel he apologises and never ever acts like this again! your both stressed but that doesnt excuse his behaviour. I hope this situation makes you both stronger as a couple and never repeats itself Flowers Flowers

Kaydee aaahh!! thats brilliant news you got your BFP!! congratulations :):)

Basset Zohz got my FX for you that she stays away! :)

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend

Kaydee2017 · 12/03/2017 15:45

Thank you! & so glad the provera has worked for you kitty Grin

JeNeBaguetteRien · 12/03/2017 15:52

Well I haven't really posted this month, had to take a step back and be very self-absorbed for a while but I've snapped out of it but now catching up.
I was 37 last week and was feeling a bit down about another milestone with no baby nor even a sniff of a BFP.

Excited to see Kaydee's news - congratulations and fingers crossed for stickiness.

Sorry about AF catching so many of us. Apart from Kitty who was waiting for her, so glad she finally came.

Loxy Flowers for you.

And PJs so sorry to hear of your ordeal and hoping for a successful resolution for you. You poor, poor thing, I feel so bad reading all that and putting his wedding ring in the safe was beyond petty and PA. However, IF he can see what his behaviour has done to you, and understand it and I think possibly get help in dealing with his emotions you may come out the other side stronger (if you choose to give him a chance but that is your call). You must be exhausted. Flowers
DH and I did have a horrible row several years ago where I felt I saw another side of him (that I didn't like) but we talked and he has never acted like that again.

On a lighter note I've just cracked open an Easter egg and am making short work of it...

florafoxtrot · 12/03/2017 17:15

Congratulations Kaydee!! Fingers crossed for a very happy and healthy 9 months for you!

Excellent news about AF Kitty, is this just your body getting back to normal after being on the pill? Hopefully the provera and period will act as a sort of hard reset and you'll be all ready to go.

FW starts on Tuesday and feeling quite chilled and positive about everything this cycle (well generally - I have my moments!)

Hope things are ok PJs. Been thinking of you.

Piehunter · 12/03/2017 18:04

So sorry you've had such a crappy weekend pj's I hope that things can be sorted, that kind of controlling, shaming behaviour is unacceptable and you didn't deserve it.

kaydee congratulations, hope all progresses well and it's a sticky one Flowers

baguette nice to see you back, I'm also currently trying to drag myself out of self pitying and feeling utterly crap... I may join you with an easter egg if that's gonna help!!

Flora general positivity is a good start, blips totally acceptable...!

kitty hooray for AF!

basset you're not out yet...

I'm in FW and it feels totally, utterly torturously pointless Grin as it seems very likely I'm not actually ovulating! Hey ho... Got internal exam and smear on Tuesday and hopefully will get the ball rolling with blood test requests at least.

bassetmum · 12/03/2017 19:15

Congratulations kaydee.

Sorry some of us have been feeling down. You definitely need to look after yourselves mentally too.

Pjs i hope your weekend has got better and you and hubby have talked today.

Well I thought I was out as I got a stonking headache which I normally get 48 hours before af which painkillers don't touch. However today I took two paracetamol and drank a litre of water and its wained!!! Why do out bodies confuse us so?

OP posts:
Pyjamas81 · 12/03/2017 20:23

Well after hours of talking, we've just about sorted it out. He's very sorry he scared me and realises that his reaction was way over the top. TTC is really getting to him and he feels helpless so feels the only thing he can control is the alcohol - like I said before, he's a logical person and couldn't understand why I would go out and binge drink if I wanted a baby. In his head, it meant I didn't really want one and didn't care how he felt. The rage bubbled over and he was pushed to his limit and that's how it was released - he knows it was wrong and that I don't have an alcohol problem. He realises it was one slip up (I don't like binge drinking either) in nearly a year of watching my drinking and cutting it right down, and realises that not everyone is perfect all the time. He has assured me he will never react that way again ever.

Kaydee - big congrats to you on this thread too!!!

Glad the provera worked for you kitty!

Eva30 · 12/03/2017 21:25

Good luck flora and pie for fw - go get em!
kaydee congratulations!! Did you have any symptoms?
basset it's like a form of torture isn't it. Glad the headache went and fx AF isn't on her way.
kitty we should throw an AF party Grin
pjs I'm glad you have made some progress with DH. Sounds like all that frustration boiled over on thurs night and hope you both lean on each other a bit more when having particularly bad days on this TTC ride?
10dpo here, I'm going to do a frer in the morning. Not because I think I'll get a bfp (I'm actually at the stage where I don't believe it can happen) but just to feed my poas addiction.

blanketfort · 12/03/2017 21:57

Kaydee congratulations!!!!! Fantastic news 🍾

I'm so glad you managed to sort things out pjs fx this is your month

KittyKat73 · 12/03/2017 22:07

Thanks ladies!

Flora Yeah my GP seems to think its all linked to being on the pill for so long (11 years) even though i stopped taking it in June 2016 and had a few months of normalish cycles my period just decided to randomly disappear.

Pjs Im glad that your DH and you have managed to sort things out. All this TTC stuff is hard enough and yous definately need each others support.

Pie hope your tests go well on Tuesday and it gets the ball rolling for you :)

Eva sometimes i think we just need to POAS to get it out our system lol i know i did every now in then even when AF had disappeared totally on me! also liking the sound of a AF party haha!

JeNe hope you feel better soon, its soo frustrating that we do everything we should be doing but our bodys go HA no not this month Angry easter eggs sound like a lovely idea though! this time of year is the worst for me as im a bit of a creme egg addict!

Kaydee2017 · 13/03/2017 07:06

Thanks ladies Grin

Eva - the only symptoms I had were backache & no AF! Thought she was here Monday / Tuesday, had terrible lower backache, which I never normally get, spotting, felt crampy & could feel her on the way, but she never showed! I had bleeding 2 weekends ago which I now think was Ov bleeding, and then implantation spotting last Monday / Tuesday!

Kaydee2017 · 13/03/2017 07:10

Pressed post too soon!!

Eva - fx, well, everything x, for you this morning!!

Pyjamas - hope glad you have sorted everything out with your DH, hopefully you are on the road to your BFP now Smile

GL for FW flora & pie Grin

Basset - when are you due AF??

Really hope this is your reset kitty & regular cycles are on the way for you!!

bassetmum · 13/03/2017 08:23

Pjs. Glad you've sorted it out with hubby.

Kaydee I'm due tomorrow. I have woken up today with really painful localised cramps on my right hand side. I literally jumped off the sofa in pain when the dog decided to stand on me this morning. Got a pad on just in case.

Fx kitty that you now start having proper cycles again.

Eva living it dangerously with an 11dpo test cant talk really as i tested on 12.

OP posts:
Eva30 · 13/03/2017 08:36

Bfn (no surprise what so ever)
Haha basset in my early days of poas addiction I tested on 7dpo once, as if anything would even show on that!!Grin
I'm going on holiday next Tuesday so all I hope for now is that AF shows by Thurs so she's out of the way before hols.

Eva30 · 13/03/2017 08:38

The next one is cycle 12. After that, that statistic of 85% of couples conceiving in the first year of trying can kiss my ass!Angry

florafoxtrot · 13/03/2017 09:18

Sorry about the BFN Eva. You going anywhere nice on hols? I think those statistics need revised for those that are not 22 year old housewives.
Hope AF stays away Basset
CD9 so shall DTD tonight - assuming that my heating is fixed to allow me to shave my legs...
I'm feeling positive this month but also that I can't really be bothered with temping or OPKs etc. but also know that we can't be trusted to just DTD without any sort of prompting that its a good idea to do so.

KittyKat73 · 13/03/2017 11:20

Kaydee Thats soo exciting! i bet you could have been knocked over by a feather when you saw the positive result. I feel as if I have been testing for so long i dont know how I would react to a positive!

Eva Enjoy your holiday are you going away for a while? When i told my GP about me booking a holiday for June she said Holidays are one of the best methods to conceive because you kinda forget about TTC and relax then BAM! preggers.

Basset hope she stays away!

Flora You could maybe give yourself a month off from temping etc :) maybe just make sure you DTD a few times around when you think you should be ovulating. Its Really stressful all this TTC and sometimes i think temping and ovulation sticks etc just add to the stress (She says waiting patiently to use my CB sticks haha)

florafoxtrot · 13/03/2017 12:10

I know what you mean Kitty but in honesty we probably can't be trusted! And my cycles are not like clockwork either so will track until ov is confirmed and then stop and try not to track anything during the TWW.

Eva30 · 13/03/2017 19:32

Thanks kitty and flora - going for a week in the sun which is much needed. Hope your heating got fixed so that it's not prickly DTD flora

So DH rang the GP for sperm results and he's asked him to come in to the surgery for a chat - that doesn't sound good, right?

florafoxtrot · 13/03/2017 19:42

Still no heating or hot water. To dtd and potentially traumatise DH or not... Hmm

Try not to worry Eva could be nothing at all and it's just the standard practise at your doctor. Did hubby make an appointment?

Eva30 · 13/03/2017 20:51

Oh not good flora - will it get fixed tomorrow? What a nightmare

No, he said he was worried and started asking Doc questions and Doc said he needs to come in and fill in a form (a form, for what?) and take a pot to do another one. So he told Doc he's going on hol. But we're not until next week and I'd rather him do it this week (I'm so impatient Blush). DH said he'll ring to book an appointment in the morning.

florafoxtrot · 13/03/2017 21:05

Do you know what that sounds like.... Like they forgot to get him to fill in the form the first time around and then couldn't do the test....

They are coming back with a new part tmrw so hopefully it'll get fixed. Definitely no cold showers for me, I would most certainly die.

Eva30 · 14/03/2017 06:23

😂that wouldn't surprise me flora

And me, although it's supposed to be very good for circulation (if you avoid the hypothermia)!
