FML!

Oysterbabe · 05/02/2017 21:12

😂😂

buzzmoon · 05/02/2017 21:25

Is this really weird? I love spotting you lot on other threads, I'm like ooh red (for example) I know her! 😂 I feel like we're all bffs already - love having somewhere to talk about all my craziness that I can't in real life 😊

Mummyme87 · 05/02/2017 21:29

buzz I get that too when looking on other threads.

I had a scan at 6wks last time and told my parents and their partners, my sister, OHs parents and his sister after that. I did also tell a few friends, turned out two of my BFF were also pregnant and due same day!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 05/02/2017 21:52

We are converting our bathroom to a wet room (completely gutting it) and redecorating living room and DD's room. It's all bit shabby (bathroom is dire) and I want everything to be clean and neat before baby.

I'd hope to hold out until I tell work at 20 weeks, but will probably tell family earlier (not before 12 weeks). Problem is if I tell my mum she will tell the world!!

HeyJupiter · 05/02/2017 22:00

buzz I'm the same! I saw confused started a thread over the weekend and felt all affectionate :)

Grumpy that sounds great! Such a nice project.

HeyJupiter · 05/02/2017 22:02

So annoying about the CB monitor though!!

Seven0fNine · 06/02/2017 07:11

Sounds amazing Grumpy

buzz I agree. It really helps to have people to talk to (and spam...) about this going through the same thing x

Have a good week everyone xx

Mummyme87 · 06/02/2017 07:31

I hope I have a baby by Christmas 🙏🏻 Cutting it fine!! I have lots of events through this year I want to be pregnant for... typically when we go to New York in April if I get pregnant now I will be early pregnancy.. praying I don't vomit like I did last time. I have three weddings to go to.. August, September and November.. picked out my maternity dress already 😂 And I would like to be on maternity leave this Christmas plus Christmas 2018 if I can drag it out with a bit of annual leave

buzzmoon · 06/02/2017 07:46

Ah mummy keeping everything crossed for you this month!

Oysterbabe · 06/02/2017 07:52

Bleeding this morning, that was unexpected. This is the 4th day since I stopped the pill so I guess a withdrawal bleed? I didn't get this last time with the mini pill. I guess I'll count today as CD1 then.

confusedat23 · 06/02/2017 07:57

Awhhh i am the same!! I love seeing you guys on othwr threads!

Also Mummy i've got a wedding in September and i am already thinking about how to dress my bump 🙈 Lol

OP posts:
confusedat23 · 06/02/2017 07:58

Oyster you are really lucky to get a bleed that quick from Mini Pill!

Have you got OPKs or anything ready for this month?

OP posts:
Oysterbabe · 06/02/2017 08:04

I have a wedding in September and one in November too :) Some kind of maxi dress if I'm knocked up I reckon.
I won't go to the November one if I'm in my last tri as it's really far away and I won't risk it after DD was early.

I have some opks ready and quite excited about starting to use them! I'll give it a week I think.

Tigger83 · 06/02/2017 08:26

I'm sure someone was asking what people's opk's looked like so thought I'd share mine over the fertile week in case you are interested lol! Sometimes I took2 in a day. I get a gradual build to peak then slow drop off.... hope that might help someone cos I really struggled to get my head round them initially x

Getting Ready for Baby Challenge-Pt3
buzzmoon · 06/02/2017 08:31

That's really helpful tigger! Do they start from the bottom or the top? I presume bottom :)

Tigger83 · 06/02/2017 08:58

Yup starting at bottom working up- peak day was Saturday and I ovulated either sat afternoon or Sunday morning as I get ovulation pain. Took 2 on sat the dark line was fmu second was in the afternoon when I started to feel pain.

Oysterbabe · 06/02/2017 09:03

Thanks Tigger. I find it really reassuring to see the peak then drop off. I've read different figures for how soon after the surge ovulation happens, anything from 12 to 36 hours? I'd be interested to know what the average is.

As an aside, does anyone have a sex preference? We already have a girl and DH would love a boy. I don't mind as I think it would be nice to have sisters, I am very close to mine. I think if he knew it existed, DH would be keen to try Shettles in an attempt to conceive a boy. I think I'd rather just focus on conceiving as soon as possible given my age.

Tigger83 · 06/02/2017 09:09

I would say I average around 12-24 I think. Usually when I get my peak I ovulate the next day this time peak to ovulation was around 8 hrs but I didn't test the evening before so could have been longer if that makes sense

Redpony1 · 06/02/2017 09:29

Morning ladies! You have been very bust here on the new thread and the old one too!

Massive belated congratulations to Dancing Flowers Please stick around!

I too feel like we are all friends, i feel privileged that we will know about each others BFP's before family & friends Grin

So, my weekend has been crazy busy. Saturday i ran 5miles and Sunday i ran 10 miles. That's on top of riding the horses and doing all the stables stuff. My body is tired now though & today/tomorrow are rest days.

Sundays 10 miles was quite humbling, i was sweeper runner on a 10 mile VERY muddy hilly cross country course, i was following a 100% blind lady and her guide! She was inspirational! Her balance was phenomenal and her determination to complete the very difficult course was even more so. So, if you ever think 'i cant' when it comes to running, or any exercise, the answer is really won't. Because you can if you try!

So, my stats:

Redpony1 - Age: 32 - TTC #1 (& only 1!) - Cycle 1 - BFP Due: ? Testing 12th Feb but unsure when AF due as on CD62 post-Cerelle pill, currently approx 10dpo
