Anyone else starting the TWW

Hello I'm just starting the TWW - test date 12th Feb anyone else want to join me to get through the two weeks together?

Feeling ok today but I'm the most impatient person ever ( i cried when my surge came two days late) so would be great to share the pain of waiting with others/ not look for signs of pregnancy and encourage each other to wait peeing on stick for as long as possible

Another one here limping through the TWW.

I'm 30, Cycle 7 and 5DPO. Had a really odd cycle this month as didn't ovulate until CD21! Normally always a lot earlier than that as my cycles are normally 28/29 days so no idea what is going on.
I'll likely test a week tomorrow (7th Feb) if AF doesn't show up. It's my birthday on the 10th so I'll need a few days to get my shit together if its another month of BFN!

I'm also eating pineapple and trying to keep cosy! And definitely trying not to SS as I can honestly say I've had all the symptoms in the last 6 months and not been pregnant once!
FX for us all

HopingForALittleOne · 30/01/2017 21:27

Welcome bubbles breaking and flora

bubbles what type of symptoms have you experienced? I'm only 3dpo and don't feel anything so far

breaking what does cp stand for?

flora do you and any others on this chat find after you have eaten the pineapple you get a weird slightly metallic taste in mouth ( especially after the core pieces)

Pineapple does weird things to your mouth, it basically burns it, hence the weird taste sometimes. I destroyed a plastic teeth retainer eating it!

HopingForALittleOne · 30/01/2017 22:06

Wow I hadn't realised that foggy glad I've only got two more days eating it!

Hi all, I'll join for this one. Got a bit disheartened last few cycles, especially as got an evaporation line December which we thought was positive followed by an extra long cycle January.
Age 25, ttc no 1, on cycle 6.
Af is due 12th Feb so will be testing a similar time to you op. Fingers crossed!

HopingForALittleOne · 30/01/2017 23:01

Welcome four fingers crossed and a sprinkling of baby dust.

Sorry to hear about evaporation line in December.

Today work was so busy I blinked and it was after six and time to go home. Half of me would like the next two weeks to be like that so time goes quick and other half of me wishes work was a bit calmer so I can daydream a little

Hi ladies, I'm 4dpo and periods is due on the 10th. Hate the TWW but like you hoping yesterday was so quick it was a blur! Hoping for the same again the rest of the week! I have a spa day and cocktails on Thursday which I'm already feeling guilty about but it's. been booked forever and I can't give them any excuse not to go. I suppose we can't put our whole lives on hold. How is everyone feeling today?

Foggymist · 31/01/2017 10:14

Charley there's no reason to feel guilty about spa and cocktails, enjoy it! If a pregnancy is starting anything it's not yet relying on a placenta so what you ingest isn't passing over, and spas are fine in pregnancy tbh, once you're sensible which most people are! It's absolutely fine to have a few cocktails during tww.

Charley2016 · 31/01/2017 10:22

Thanks foggy I'm very much looking forward to it! And happy in the fact that it will hopefully be my last day on the champagne with the girls for the next year!

sparksalot · 31/01/2017 11:14

Hi! Can I join please? I'm due af on the 9th and im going bloody mad. Meant to be revising for exam on Thursday and all I'm doing is googling symptoms and reading bloody posts about symptoms!!

sparksalot · 31/01/2017 11:35

I'll add my stats if thats ok?
Age 35, 1 year of ttc #1 Had a chemical and mmc last year. I use Ovia and clearblue opk's. Smile

User11220 · 31/01/2017 11:40

Hi I'll join too please. Am 11 dpo. Took a opk this morning (had another thread on this. I didn't get a smilie but the line being there at all when I popped out the test gave me a spark of hope. Silly really) Going crazy this month for some reason. Can't concentrate on work or really anything.
A few cramps over last few days which is typical enough so probably out but hoping for the best all the same. Funny how u never really give up hope until af appears even if all the signs are there!
Good luck everyone Flowers

Glitterbubble · 31/01/2017 11:45

Hi ladies, can I join too??

Only 2dpo here!! Envy

AF due 13th and Fertility friend says to test on 17th.

Good luck everyone

FallenSkies · 31/01/2017 11:56

Oh, can I join you please? I'm due to test on 12th. Aged 32 with one child already. DD was a very happy surprise so I had unrealistic expectations of ttc. On month 4 now and I had no idea how hard the tww would be.

xStefx · 31/01/2017 12:01

Hello, ive been thinking about joining one of these threads for a while. Im TTC for number 2 and im 32. We started in December so 2nd month TTC. My test date is this Saturday (4th feb). I have been tracking my cycles and ovulate on day 14 so DP and I tried on day 8, 10, 12, 14, 15 & 17 (poor guy) I only have 1 fallopian tube as had an ectopic last july and had to have it removed, before that caught for my DD and the ectopic 1st try. Really nervous and really excited too.

User11220 · 31/01/2017 13:33

As said in my earlier post I am 11 dpo today - curiosity got the better of me and took this in loo at lunchtime. Line came up at 53 secs and seems pretty clear. Had a chemical in October so trying to contain myself but really am excited that this looks good? Think I'm one of the earliest to test on this thread so hoping it's a sticky and that it bodes well for all!

sparksalot · 31/01/2017 13:45

Wow! Congratulations!!! Sticky baby dust to you Flowers xx

Foggymist · 31/01/2017 13:59

Congratulations, very clear line!!

TheLegendOfBeans · 31/01/2017 14:01

Hello I'm here! And with you holding hand!

My AF date is the 11 February....

DD's birthday 😳

So a potentially emotionally charged day all round x

FallenSkies · 31/01/2017 14:09

Congratulations user! Xxx

User11220 · 31/01/2017 14:16

Thanks very much Flowers As I said I am definitely wisely more cautious after chemical in October but fingers crossed it's a sticky. It's certainly a stronger line than in Oct and came up much more quickly so I'll focus on the positive and hope for the best. Here's hoping it will be a lucky month for all Smile

Charley2016 · 31/01/2017 18:32

Congratulations! Lovely looking line for lunchtime wee and 11dpo Smile fx for a happy and healthy 9months.

HopingForALittleOne · 31/01/2017 19:28

Welcome newcomers, sounds like we will be all testing around the same time. Sprinkling baby dust to all!

Congratulations user I can understand your hesitancy but that looks like a good line for 11dpo xx

Another day has gone by quickly in work due it being so busy which is great but only 4dpo aargh! I've been researching when is the earliest I can test - I want to hold out but also excited. Absolutely no symptoms at the moment which I guess is normal for the first week but also I'm hoping something is happening and I might get a sign to ponder over.

I mentioned in an earlier post I would be watching my pets and their reactions closely in case they detect it first -no change in behaviour yet!! Xx

ImBreakingBad · 31/01/2017 19:46
