Anyone else starting the TWW

Hello I'm just starting the TWW - test date 12th Feb anyone else want to join me to get through the two weeks together?

Feeling ok today but I'm the most impatient person ever ( i cried when my surge came two days late) so would be great to share the pain of waiting with others/ not look for signs of pregnancy and encourage each other to wait peeing on stick for as long as possible

Well I cracked and tested on Monday 20th - BFN.
Af was due yesterday and no sign yet... as I'm only on cd25 I'm going to wait until the weekend to test again. Fx and best wishes to you all xx

Hi Breaking, I'm CD14 today so exactly the same point as you!

I've been using OV tests for a few months now. I've had mixed results with the little stick tests so last month I invested in the CB dual hormone which I've found much easier.

I'm not an expert but I think most apps estimate OV at around CD14 assuming an average 28 day cycle but you could ov earlier or later (I've tended to get positive ov tests around CD18-CD20).

Are you temping/monitoring CM as well as using OV tests?

Hi Daffodil. I'm using boots ov tests. I done another one last night and got a negative again. Argh! I'm thinking my cycles have just jumped up to 35 days. Hopefully I O soon! Just want to get into the 2WW so it can be over with . I chart CM and no EWCM as of yet, but I think it's on its way.

I may start temping. Just worried I stress myself out. I fear I'm already fanatical and obsessed with falling pregnant

Hey breaking this is my first month for opks. I bough digital clear blue one. I only used yesterday for first time (CD12) and got negtive.. I thought I have a 28-30 day cycle so If I start before day fourteen Il catch surge without wasting too many sticks.. Its expensive.. But maybe this doesn't work!? I've only had sex in this fertile period once so far as been unwell and not in the mood to say the least. So not holding out much hope this month.. But . You never know. I could OV late right!? No EWCM yet which is also confusing .

Hey Tatty. I got my + on OPK today. DH is just back in town this afternoon so plan to DTD tonight. Absolutely shitting it incase I've missed the chance this month.

Ooh that's good! What time of day do you use? I know people say Morning I best but I cant hold my pee overnight.. I'm always at the loo a few times so did it in afternoon? Does that matter? Also.. I know it says on box to ignore lines on test when you remove sticks out digital.. But, one is clearly fainter than the other.. Do you think itl get darker and when both lines match thats when you get smiley?
I'm thinking to keep an eye on dye getting darker on test sticks even though digital says no...x

I wouldn't think so! I started doing mine after I got home from work, so 6-7 o clock. Once I got quite a dark positive I done morning and night. I think it'd take a couple of cycles to get used to this but hopefully not as you'll be pregnant. When both lines match I'm sure you'll get a smiley. I'm just going to do my last one today to see if I've O'd . Welcoming the 2WW once again. What date is AF due for you? X

My cycle is normally 28 days. Which would make AF due on 12th march.. But my last cycle was 30 days randomly. So I guess somewhere between 12-14th march my period is due.
I got a negative opk again today for 2nd day. (CD 14) 😡

Just starting the 2 www and want to POAS now but know if will be futile as am 4dpo at most. Hoping I have a longer than 22 day cycle this month!

Tatty I've heard if you don't drink anything for three hours you can take a test at anytime but not sure how true that is!

Feel confused. Negative opk again. Thought these would help me out but they are stressing me out.
I'm passed the halfway through my cycle point and the lines on opk aren't getting any darker at all. They are hardly there. And thats with urine I held all night.
Worried what if I'm not ovulating. Had what I thought was EWCM the other day. 😢

AF arrived on Friday night

My cycles randomly changed and I got my + on OPK CD18. Keep strong Tatty, the surge is easy to miss. I'd listen to what your body is telling you and try and work with that x

Thank u thingy. Still no positive opk.. And I'm on CD18... Dunno if I'm doing them wrong or I'm not.ovulating
But expensive to keep.up if nothing showing.

I'm only using digital clear blue ovulation kit, (not dual hormone one)
And it says on box not to look at lines on the sticks . . Apparantly they aren't read in the same way as a cheapy opk..but surely..its two lines right!? Gotta be the same.
Anyway, the line has been very faint and iv had continued negatives. Getting me down. Yesterday it was slightly darker but nowhere near control line and I had Held my urine in a very long time.
Today I've had EWCM ( cd19)... Of a 28-30 day cycle surely I cant be due to ovulate this late. ?
Il use another test later on and see.

aaaargh I just got a smiley on my opk 😊 ridiculously excited to see it! But erm, isn't it too late in my cycle (CD19) to be getting positive? When do we DTD now!? Didn't have sex last night either. Bummer. Havebi missed it do I need to DTD before smiley or after!? Help! Xxx

Tatty I think ovulation happens 12-24 hours after positive test and then fertilisation is another day after that (please correct me if I'm wrong- I never had bfp and still on a big learning curve!). Sperm can apparently survive up to 5 days after dtd.

Ah so pleased for you Tatty . Get DTD!!! I OV'd on CD 17 it may just be that you O late! Fingers X'd for you x

I'm a little concerned though.
My cycle was clockwork 28days. I started on seven seas TTC pills last month and my cycle became 30days . I panicked and stopped taking them.
I'm now thinking they were regulating my cycles for good reason.. Because if I have a 28day cycle and I'm ovulating on CD20... That cant ve good right
So cue me now thinking I have very short luteal phase and therefore a defect that means I wont be able to conceive ..
Lot of scary TTC struggles and miscarriage stories related to short luteal phase online?

Now wishing I had kept up the 7seas pills?
