Anyone else starting the TWW

Hello I'm just starting the TWW - test date 12th Feb anyone else want to join me to get through the two weeks together?

Feeling ok today but I'm the most impatient person ever ( i cried when my surge came two days late) so would be great to share the pain of waiting with others/ not look for signs of pregnancy and encourage each other to wait peeing on stick for as long as possible

Oh no fallen don't give up hope till af appears. Might still be too early for you. I have a feeling I'm going to be he same tomorrow but I can't wait one more day. I'm the most impatient person!

I'm due af on Saturday foggy, so originally planned to test Sunday. Sorry to hear you got a negative too. Have you had any symptoms?

Fallen I've had muscle twinges that I've only ever had when I was pregnant last time, it's a difference sensation and hurts like feck when I sneeze or move strangely. I also had brown spotting which I never ever had, ever. When I was pregnant I got a positive test when my period was a few hours late, it's due Sunday morning so if it doesn't come by 10am it's late, my cycle is oddly ridiculously punctual!

Tested and negative. Tell me I'm not the only one who tears the test apart, takes a pic and changes to negative to try find an Imaginary line . Feeling really crap. AF due in two days. And its been 13 days since ovulations. That was a FRER so would have showed something if I was pregnant. Could cry

Tatty this may or may not help but I was in pieces yesterday as I am now "running down" my 10 pack of Amazon FRERs and just pissing on sticks and seeing zilch, not even a squinter and stupidly still STILL hoping for something, anything.

It's the wretchedness of knowing that it's basically gonna be a BFN but its that 1% hope that just won't go away that smarts.

I've never been so all consumed with it as I am now, I know I'm not due AF until the 11th but I'm still kidding on that the magic line will appear.

I have cried so many tears this past 48h and even for the first time wished I'd never conceived in June only to lose it in August.

So the point of my ramble is: you're not alone. You're not mad, or going mad and if you're anything like me you're probably mad at yourself for getting into a obsessive? position and wishing there was some way to JUST. SWITCH. OFF.

I have started to bloat now, which is textbook for me when af is on its way so I'm not holding out much hope that I will get a bfp this month.
I'm sorry you got a bfn too tatty - it really is crap but from what I have heard the frer tests don't always show up a bfp early so you may still be in with a chance

legend and fallen thank you. I appreciate your posts. Feeling tearful. Maybe I tested at wrong time of day..it was after dinner. But still, so many posts of people doing FRERs and getting positives well before AF. Makes me think I'm out. Wish if my period was coming it would bloody well hurry up. No pun intended 😉.

Glad to know I'm not going mad. Feel like a crazy obsessive lady legend honestly. You sound a bit like me. I literally sat in bathroom ten mins editing photos of test to convince myself there was something. Then feeling gutted.
Think I have AF symptoms now.feel bloated and emotional lol. Due on 11th. Will keep u all updated as I hope you do me.

Hahaha .. I have a pissy pot too!! 😁 thats hilarious. I thought everyone just 'peed on a stick'.. And It was just me who's piddle didnt come out in a straight enough line for that 😂

I'm sorry about your bfn ladies. i think I need to get a pissy pot as I find it hard poas in a straight line! I am trying to hold off until the weekend now I think as I will be so disappointed if I get a bfn

I have a peepot too and I'm paranoid of leaving it out and about and a guest seeing it. When I was testing for ovulation I didn't know what to do about checking as I can't pee on a stick properly. Or at least I don't feel comfortable that ive done it right and enough wee has hit the stick. Another lady gave me the tip of using the plastic cups you get by water fountain and you can pop it in bin after.

Don't lose hope yet tatty.

I now have fear I might lose this before the two weeks is up ( I still can't bring myself to say you know ... that I might be ... you know ) this is like a whole different torture.

Welcome yessica I too had to have a biopsy after my colposcopy I was so worried but it was ok. Sounds like yours was too and glad TTC

You're supposed to pee into something and dip the test, not pee onto the test!

For the strip tests definitely anyway.

I cracked did a FRER this morning and got a BFN. Am going to try to hold off testing until Tues now!

foggy the strips I had had the two options of poas or dip stick in the instructions...
Maybe different brands say different things although most women I've spoken to seem to dip the stick on a pot/glass of some description

Ah I only used frer and Superdrug early. (the latter never again.. Two tests were faulty.. Horizontal lines on test windows and dye runs)

I caved and got a bfn this morning. Only 11dpo but I'm out tomorrow for a birthday and wanted to know if I could have a few drinks. AF symptoms starting now so think I'm out this month.

Bought 3 boxes of tests this morning...not going to test until tomorrow morning but fully expect now I've bought them, AF will probably show up today. Over the last 6 months my cycles have been anything from 25 days to 31..although the last 3 have been 25, 26, 25, so I would have expected AF to come on yesterday or be there waiting for me this morning.

Don't think I have any pg symptoms but definitely haven't had any of my usual AF symptoms.

Think I'll spend most of today running back and forth to the toilet to check if I've come on!! I really don't want to get my hopes up but it's so hard not to isn't it?

I had lots of cramps yesterday but no sign of af yet. Pretty sure my day will be running back and forth from the loo too arual

I also caved and tested, for the stupid reason that I ended up going to bed without peeing last night so there was a good 12 hours of it there! BFN, the day before my app says to test, two days before af is due. Sigh. No af symptoms yet but that's normal for me, it comes out of nowhere.

AF due Monday and done really well to not even consider testing early ..somehow, will power seems quite strong 🤔

Ovia is telling me to test today, fertility friend says 17th and countdown to pregnancy website says Monday

...Sunday then maybe?

Well done on resisting testing so far glitter. Holding out til Sunday makes sense - fingers crossed for you.
I am due to be out with a friend tomorrow night so might do a sneaky test in the morning if af hasn't arrived so that I can enjoy a guilt free drink if it's negative. I have awful cramps, and have for a couple of days, but I remember having them in my previous pregnancies too so don't know what to think. Wish I knew one way or the other

I'm having period type cramps today too. Period due tomorrow... X
