Just a follow on from our 1st thread!

Theres is our motherhen, we are all just a bunch of crazy ladies either TTC or waiting to start!

I find all the cervix searching baffling. I can find mine but can never work out if high or low etc. I've also come to conclusion that I seem to have less cm than other people as mine is never really abundant although consistency does change.

Page 6!?!?!? This thread is going quicker than I can keep up!

I can find my Cervix (just about) if I am sat on the loo... but that is the only time!

I'm just interested in learning about my body, because as i have said, i literally know booger all

My cm varies from month to month, sometimes loads, sometimes not, ditto with ov pain, sometimes I'm crippled and sometimes not, DH had been called away, I reckon ov is tomorrow so it's unlikely he'll be back tonight which is annoying because I feel tonight and tomorrow are most important days! Dying to get home and POAS for ov....i Feel i Need to get a hobby

Nick I totally forgot about the free dental care you get, how useful will that be?! Good luck at dentist, i hate going, it's almost as bad as my needle phobia

buzz & Jupiter Are you tracking changes on an app or anything? Both Ovia and MN are what have highlighted to me how little i actually know about how that part of my body works (Or should work!)

I have just started using Clue which tells you your fertile window but not much else

I use Ovia but not sure about the fertile window. If I ovulate on CD14, how can I still be fertile on CD18 😕 Egg only lasts 12-24hrs.

I use ovia too and agree with mummyme that the fertile window is a bit dubious. It rates how fertile you are each day and said I was at my most fertile the day before I got my peak ovulation result. It was the one day that I didn't DTD (I did it on the day before that, on the day of peak and the following day when I assume I ovulated).. oh well, I suppose it's getting used to my cycles. I do like the handy tips it gives although adds to the obsessional nature of all this ("Jupiter you report headaches, that's a sign of early pregnancy!" etc It's also a sign of impending AF)

I like Pink Pad too as that is literally just a diary that you add all your observations too and keeps it simple.

I get more like "Redpony you report headaches, that's a sign of dhydration, you must look after yourself whilst TTC" Yet i drink loads...

I guess i only use it to log when things happen rather than using it as an actual guide.

Ovia is a bit smug isn't it Agree though good way to log and keep track of things! Still having pre-AF cramps although does seem a tad early. Am I right in thinking that the luteal phase tends to stay the same length every month and any cycle length variation more to do with pre-ovulation phase?

Oh oh oh, just done an OPK and for the first time got a faint line!
I only have 3 tests left... (must order more) when shall i test again? Today is DTD day anyway, going to DTD every other day regardless

No photo as didn't have phone in the toilet and didn't fancy carrying a stick of peepee back to my desk

Ok some advice please lovelies! For the last 3 months there has been 17 days from the last day of my opk reading positive to the first day of my af... Ovia are saying I would start my af on 25th I think my af would be 23rd with an frer when would you test- ideally don't want to test too early!! Was thinking maybe 22nd?

Red that's great, does that mean you might be about to ovulate? I have no idea about OPKs

Tigger you will be safe testing from 14dpo... i wouldn't test any earlier if i was you (i know im a hypocrite!)

red how manu days have you used OPKs for? It is positive when the test lind is stronger than the control line

Great red, you are ready to start! I just got a negative OPK again... Kind of bummed coz sure it would at least be faint today, I'm on CD 12 of 26, really hoping I get something tomorrow..

red I do OPK from CD10 twice a day (lunch time and evening) u til my positive starts to get lighter...usually day after ovulation. Got the cheapos online in the end.

I bought two FRER from Amazon last. Isn't in prep for this month, but will be holding out as long as I can

mummyme tell me about it, we must be testing around the same time? (AF due 28 Jan).

I've had mild cramping which could quite possibly be my imagination, but nothing else!

I think I might get Ovia, although worried that I will be opening a can of worms and my OH thinks I'm crazy enough 😂

Actually Jupiter you're right, it probably takes a while to get used to your cycles so I should start now!

Buzz I made the mistake of telling DH about Ovia and how I've been recording when we DTD on it.. with a little heart... he looked horrified
