Well that's going to confuse me further confused ! ha!

HeyJupiter · 17/01/2017 09:37

Sorry about the BFNs Red and Grumpy - but hopefully all the 'activity' down there means that AF is on her way. At least then you know where you are.. bring on February!

Confused you must be going mad you poor thing. Yesterday may well have been implantation bleeding so maybe test next on Thursday?

Well I've been having my typical 6-days-before-period cramping which is annoying. Don't feel remotely pregnant either so think it's going to be unlikely this month. Annoying but need to get a grip of myself as don't want to be living in complete TTC land for, lets face it, potentially many months. I know I'm not out yet but don't want to give myself false hope.

HeyJupiter · 17/01/2017 09:39

Starting a baby box sounds like a lovely idea though. Spent this morning wrapping up presents for my very pregnant best friend. Has made me quite emotional (she got pregnant first month of trying.. just like my sister did with both hers.. just like my mum did with us) BUT it's also very exciting!

HeyJupiter · 17/01/2017 09:41

Holly just saw your post! So happy that your DH is so excited. You must both be completely elated. What a special time.

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 09:46

I went to a baby shower on Saturday eve, for a good friend who accidentally fell pregnant. I hate baby showers - mostly because i hate playing daft games. I did like her unwrapping all the cute clothes though! Annoyingly she is so tiny, she doesn't look pregnant from the back and literally is all baby, you can still see her figure from the front! I'm very jealous that she will ping back to pre-baby weight and shape a few days after giving birth! I bet i turn in to a whale! Hmm

Just sat here thinking, 'ohhhh i have back ache, maybe that's a symptom of AF coming?'
Then back to reality when i remember i have backache nearly everyday of my life Grin

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/01/2017 09:47

GP was really nice listened to my concerns about my medical records and corrected some things like it was saying chronic depression when I've been better since 2012 so he put that as historical rather than an active issue. I got a clean bill of health and the go ahead to TTC. I'm feeling so fit healthy and happy compared to 5 years ago and ready for this Smile

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 09:52

Great news grumpy ! Now for a clean slate, no obsessive POAS, we can wait for AF together (coming from me, totally relaxed about not POAS all the time Grin )

HeyJupiter · 17/01/2017 09:53

Grumpy that's fab!! Really good to check and amend medical records too - in my experience GPs don't always know what they're doing when it comes to mental health (well in my area anyway) so glad that's all sorted for you.

My best friend is tiny too - smallest, and neatest bump I've ever seen. I imagine I'll look like a walking potato Grin

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 09:57

I use Agnus-Castus for my veteran pony, i keep seeing it come up with helping to regulate cycles... I wonder Confused

HPeveryday · 17/01/2017 10:00

Pony you made me laugh, thanks for that Grin
Squirel great news, fab you have been given the green light to go ahead.

Nothing happening here, am just doing my own head in by constantly thinking about it. Got abdominal pains since yesterday but that could just be hunger pangs!

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 17/01/2017 10:00

That's great Grumpy! So pleased for you!

HPeveryday · 17/01/2017 10:03

I think af is due on the 25th so I will just wait for it and restart next month. And focus on the healthy eating etc. I have exams at the start of May so really I should be focusing on that instead of being baby obsessed grrrr

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/01/2017 10:09

Thanks guys! Red we are in this together! I'm determined not to POAS anymore and concentrate on work and fitness until AF appears.

DH is still a bit freaked out by DTD - I think he has a lot of worries about a new baby and how we will manage - but he says he doesn't want to change his mind as he does want to have one and would be disappointed if we shelved the idea.. however to make a baby you do actually need to y'know.. do it Hmm

going to have a chat this weekend about it all and hopefully he will relax a bit otherwise if he is like this for much longer (+the whole 9 months??) I'll actually go insane!

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 10:15

HP i think some of my pains are possible hunger pangs too, i should know the difference though, right?! right?!

Grumpy TTC was my DP's idea, he's desperate to be a father. However, until this week, he's been a bit 'off' DTD. I think it was just 'ahhhh this could actually happen!' but now he's more relaxed about it all and genuinely concerned about my AF not being here, but DTD now 'just in case'. Perhaps your DH is just getting his head around it still Smile
So yeh, CD42 for me - we are in this together for sure!

HPeveryday · 17/01/2017 10:21

Red are you looking to lose much? How tall are ya? I am 5'4.
Are you following any diet plan?
My son broke my scale so I don't know how much I currently weigh. I am hoping to lose at least a stone as I balloon in pregnancy and sadly don't spring back Grin I am just trying to up my vegetables and eat less processed crap.

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 10:30

I am hoping to lose 2st, 1st would be fair though. I am 5'2"
No diet plan as such,, just no processed foods at all, less carbs (can't completely cut them out as i exercise too much!) & increased exercise. I already run 3 or 4 times a week pretty hard, i have 3 horses (currently they are laid off for winter, only doing gentle work at weekends) and i have started circuit training twice a week at my works gym. Evenings i have started small things to tone up such as planking and squats or kettle bell. My DP is a personal trainer so i have help....
To be fair, with all that i do, it's a crime that i am not 8st Grin

HPeveryday · 17/01/2017 10:36

LOL am annoyed on your behalf now Grin
That's a very good plan and good you already have a good exercise regime in place as you can carry on when you fall pregnant. You have an achievable goal!

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 10:38

Coming off the pill i thought some weight would fall off HP but it seems to have had the opposite affect Sad
But yes, most of it i should be able to carry on throughout pregnancy (except perhaps circuit training which i would be happy to ditch!)

Are you doing any exercise?

HPeveryday · 17/01/2017 10:46

How long have you been off the pill? Maybe it takes a little time to level off, for your system to clear it all out?
And looking after the horses will def keep you fit during pregnancy. It would be good to have a summer pregnancy, will be helpful to carry on with the exercises.

I was cycling to work/home before my son which was about 40/42 miles per day. I stopped it as it was too time consuming. I was also running before and stopped it last year as I have been busy with exams etc. and plus full time job so feel bad about being away so much from my son.
I walk about 7 miles per day so hopefully I can carry that on if I don't get struck with SPD like last time.

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 11:22

Walking 7 miles a day is pretty impressive HP !

Ummm, 42 days since my last pill..... I felt lethargic for a few weeks but that's well passed now.

On my Ovia app it asks the position and feel of my cervix. What's the best position to be in to investigate? Back when i had the coil, i only managed to reach the wires once ever! I either have short fingers or a high cervix Blush

HPeveryday · 17/01/2017 11:29

I wouldn't even know where the cervix is! Grin
FX someone who knows advises us soon!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/01/2017 11:32

Red I can only reach it squatting down low. I am guessing you would need to be bothered to do it regularly to compare, I'm too lazy. I did it yesterday and felt quite high and firm but I've no comparison data yet

Feeling much more normal now, CD22, still bloating in the afternoons but less badly.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/01/2017 11:33

Oh and sorry TMI but you need to bear down like you are pushing baby out in order to move it low enough to touch it

Mummyme87 · 17/01/2017 12:16

I find sitting on the toilet or squatting is best to locate my cervix. I can always feel it but I feel cervix for a living 😂😂😂

Redpony1 · 17/01/2017 12:22

Might try later... i hate poking around, almost as much as i hate other people touching me!
