Everyone always wants a girl, me included! But then I have the loveliest boy ever who melts my heart everyday so boys are just as good!

buzzmoon · 27/01/2017 18:23

Awh grumpy that's so lovely!

mrs, I think boys are lush! How old is yours? :)

MrsC2017 · 27/01/2017 18:33

buzz He's 7 now, and he's a lovely person! I love this age I have to say!
grumpy how cute! I have some bits stashed away too that I couldn't part with!

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 27/01/2017 18:35

Welcome tabby! Hope your cycles kick in soon. According to Ovia I can expect AF in 12 days. I'm on CD 17 I think.

Buzz those outfits are so adorable. Seriously gorgeous. Love yours too Grumpy. So lovely that you've kept it all this time.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/01/2017 21:26

Red and buzz have either of you experienced sore nipples at all since coming off cerazette? If you have, was that a normal part of your pre pill cycle? Mine have been so sensitive and painful for a week now.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 27/01/2017 21:28

Mrs 7 is the best age isn't it!! I miss DD being 5-8 so much

DancingUnicorn · 27/01/2017 22:06

Evening all! Busy day! Loving the clothes buzz!!

I've only bought vits so far, so not too much. But my first hpts arrived this morning... even though af is not due till the middle of next week. :s must resist testing!!!

Parsnips sounds like a good chat! :)

Hope people have nice weekends planned!

Mummyme87 · 27/01/2017 22:43

So CD26 and AF is just about to bite me. Had brown discharge just now. Expect it in full swing tomorrow. Almost a relief from symptom spotting

DancingUnicorn · 27/01/2017 23:11

:( mummy sorry! 💐

MrsC2017 · 27/01/2017 23:40

I'm sorry mummy! 💜 💜

buzzmoon · 27/01/2017 23:46

I'm sorry mummy! Have you got a lot on this weekend? Hopefully you can have a lazy one with lots of chocolate/duvets and movies! Flowers

buzzmoon · 27/01/2017 23:49

My amazon kit arrived today, I'm actually quite impressed for only £6! Going to start in the morning with my temp! And now I've got these OpKs I feel this weird urge just to pee on them 😂 I know exactly where you're all coming from now! The temptation just knowing they are there!! I'm so curious!

HeyJupiter · 28/01/2017 09:32

Mummyme sorry about the BFN. If AF is on her horrible way then at least it can give some closure on the symptom spotting. Onwards to next month!

Seven great about the OPKs, fingers crossed!

Confused how was CB OPK today? Any flashing faces? I’m going to start mine on Monday.

Welcome to the madhouse tabby :)

Grumpy and MrsC its so lovely to hear you talking about your children. Made me feel a bit melty. Can’t wait to experience that kind of love.

All fine here, CD5 here, already going slowly. Starting our 5 day DTD-a-thon from Thursday (am sure you all want to know that!) DH is primed and ready to go apparently haha. Have decided to go to DTD-ing every other day from next month if it doesn’t happen this month.

Was talking to colleague at work about homeopathy yesterday and she recommended some remedies for enhancing fertility. I'm normally quite skeptical about that kind of thing (I'm a science-y person - I'm a nurse for gods sake) but worked well for me last year when had whooping cough so am thinking of looking into. What are you thoughts?

DancingUnicorn · 28/01/2017 12:42

Urgh! I feel awful today. Bad cramps, and generally miserable! AF not due till Wed, but feels like it will come early. :( Still, will be nice to be able to drink without feeling guilty!

Good luck with the dtd-a-thon Jupiter! Hope you enjoy! I think I'm going to try eod from next month. Will wait until after march, and if no joy I'll buy some opks!

orangefolly · 28/01/2017 13:09

Ahh sorry about that mummyme

Oh no unicorn Wine for you, it's a great consolation!

jupiter I'm not sure I'm on board with the whole homeopathy thing, although I was looking up nutrition for enhancing fertility / conception. Some of my favourite foods on there - dark greens, almonds, asparagus - yum! Still, if it takes a long time TTC I will probably be trying all sorts of things.

The coil is out now Grin - a bit uncomfortable but much easier coming out than being put in! The nurse was lovely too, really enthusiastic about me having a baby Smile

Not actively TTC until next month as this month still a bit marginal whether I would get the good maternity pay. That said, I am in my fertile window and without contraception so it could happen! I read it is more like 3 months on average when having coil removed though (copper, not mirena).

Mummyme87 · 28/01/2017 13:37

No quiet day here for me... long day on delivery suite. AF still not full swing but almost... I'm a bit sad but glad the symptom spotting is over and I can move on to next cycle

DancingUnicorn · 28/01/2017 14:05

Mummy sorry to hear you have a long day ahead. How do you find spending your days around pregnant ladies and babies when ttc? I'm not sure I'd be able to avoid feeling constantly jealous! Fx for next month for you!

DancingUnicorn · 28/01/2017 14:07

Thanks orange. Glad the coil removal wasn't too painful!

HeyJupiter · 28/01/2017 16:19

Sorry you're feeling rubbish Dancing, hope you've got nice things planned this weekend to take your mind off it.

Orange totally get where you're coming from. I think homeopathy is generally a placebo effect (which isn't a bad thing!) so you have to be on board really to get a result. I'm still curious so might look into it. Ditto on all the fertility superfood eating. Took me a week to get used to all the leafy greens but I'm loving them now. I do feel physically better for it too. Glad the coil removal went okay for you, nice that the nurse was enthused - it is all very exciting :)

mummyme hope your shift is over soon!

confusedat23 · 28/01/2017 16:40

Awhhh those baby clothes are beyond cute!... i do agree girls clothes are nicer than boys!

I am really hoping for a girl as SIL has a lovely DS but cant help but feel like if we have a boy they will always be compared...

Buzz did u get the kit like me and Grumpy?

Sorry for AF Mummy

No flashing OPK yet Jupiter if its 5 days of flashing it should start tomorrow!.. looking for peak on Fri and so DTD athon from Mon-Fri (hopefully) but i dont want to burn DH out too early so may start from Tuesday as doubt mondays swimmers would last that long (although with the amount he drank last night they will be pissed!)

Congrats on the coil removal Orange

I got my nails removed today and just shellac'd not because im hopefull of falling preggo abd being banned from fake nails i was getting annoyed with typing!

OP posts:
TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/01/2017 16:42

I am not giving up shellac when pregnant it's just ridiculous the amount of things that are "not allowed" Hmm plenty of pg women in my nail salon!!

I'm still waiting to get my OPK pack as was delivered to a neighbour and they aren't in, I just tried. Waaa!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 28/01/2017 16:43

Oh sorry just read that properly confused so shellac is allowed but fake nails aren't? Why?

HeyJupiter · 28/01/2017 17:14

Grumpy and Confused I was wondering about nails too. I have a gel lamp kit at home that I like to use but have been told (by the internet) that I can't when I do get pregnant? Seems quite over the top!!

HeyJupiter · 28/01/2017 17:15

Oh and confused I think most people only get a couple of days of flashing faces before the peak face so don't worry if you don't see yours for another few days. In december I had two flashing face days and last month I had five so I think it can vary a lot!
