Ladies I have a confession., I have been POAS every single day! So embarrassed DH thinks I'm insane! But with no AF or OPKs to go on, theoretically it could happen anytime, right? How do I kick the habit because it's expensive even with cheap sticks.. I'm hoping the OPKs might stop the crazy

grumpy why don't you try to stop OPKs and just dtd every other day? Then at least you know that you can't miss it?

You'll get your POAS fix when you get your OPK's grumpy Then at least you know whats going on. I have been using OPK's ever other day since xmas and they were whiter than white. Until this week so i started using them daily this week to track peak, which has been a relief to know something has actually happened in my body which i gather is your main concern/worry?

So question, how much does everyone think they've spent on fertility stuff so far? Tests, thermometers, pre natal vitamins etc?

I'm stingy!! Under £12 on OPK's and have looooads of them, they come including HPT's too. And i think about a fiver on Folic Acid (to which Amazon sent it twice so i have 2 bottles for the price of 1 )

Yes red that's exactly it I'd just like to know what's going on , if I am even ovulating or still adjusting post pill..

I've spent probably £150+ including £100 on the CBFM (included 20 ovulation tests and 5 pg tests) and the rest on HPTs and ridiculously expensive vitamins!! Must find cheaper vitamins

Orange how exciting - hope the removal goes well. Are you planning to start TTC right away?

Mummy - I've heard the digital tests aren't as sensitive so maybe give it a few days and see - it might change!

Buzz - what did you buy? I haven't bought any clothes or anything but I have ordered wool to make a blanket. I also bought baby milestone cards (to take pictures with later). Spent about 30 odd quid on vitamins and 300quid getting bloody implant out.

Red - thanks for your perspective on same sex friends. Tbh I think that's probably hitting the nail on the head. DH doesn't really have male friends. The messages that were deleted were part of a general WhatsApp clear up (he had deleted conversations from others too - male friends/ family etc). I think I was just overly suspicious so maybe I need to work on those issues a little. I've been burned in the past and it's very hard to let that go.

I spoke to DH about it and he said there's morning going on and nothing to worry about. He wasn't touchy or defensive and was really understanding about my questions. I deleted his WhatsApp and reinstalled it to recover all his deleted messages (I am like a psychopath aren't I??) and I told him that as well. He want annoyed at me and said he was glad I told him and that he has nothing to hide and he's not trying to make me uncomfortable. Anyway I feel a little stupid about it but relieved that i was just overreacting. Met too many 'Charlottes' in my day!

Ok, so today's OPK has faded a bit after last nights peak positive... when do i start counting days post ovulation? Going to DTD another couple of days yet & obviously i have no idea when AF will be, so do i test in 14 days? Longer? (obviously if AF doesn't arrive of course!) Ovia is saying to test in 12 days but i think that's too early....

parsnips glad you spoke to DH and he was so understanding and trust me anyone else would have done the same!
buzz hilarious but I mean 3 pounds is a steal , my auntie did the same, bought 100 dresses and had a boy! I haven't spent much, cheapo opks and tests and did get preseed, about 30 maybe!
orange good luck with the coil, I was terrified getting mine out and it didn't even hurt a bit!
grumpy def grab some cheapo vitamins, they all have the same stuff, I'm queen of generics!
So had my day 21 bloods done today, also checked for immunity to rubella because I wasn't immune in my first pregnancy despite having all the vaccines, had the vaccine again a few years ago but some women can't hold the immunity so worth checking out,although if I didn't and have to get it again then will have to put ttc on hold for 3months so maybe if anyone is thinking about it might be worth getting it done to check!
I have not been feeling great all day and have such a metallic taste in my mouth, hope I haven't lost a filling! Must get to dentist next month also!
Red I would say count tomorrow as 1dpo and today as ov day but maybe someone else has better insights!

grumpy get the opks, the positives on them satisfied my craving and I went through 20.....will not do that next month!

I've spent a fortune on OPK and pregnancy tests. Have a stash of OPK for next cycle.

Cycle no: 1. My previous was a withdrawal bleed which only lasted 3 days. Hope this next period is the real deal and I ovulate! Only came off the pill in mid December

red I've just been Googling that exact same question. My OPK was lighter this afternoon and have had achy right side in pelvis all day (I think... Could just be my imagination...)
let's hope the spermies are where they need to be!!

Omg buzz they're so cute. I like the fabric.... Girls are so much more fun to dress than boys! There's hardly anything for them!!

i know! I really would love a girl! But DH really wants a boy! I think I'd love a boy actually, and would still dress him in Peter Pan collars!!
I have no preference really, just a happy, healthy bubba that doesn't take too long to conceive!!
