CD44 for me grumpy Sad Absolutely no symptoms of anything for me either, but i am glad you are feeling good!!
DH will work it all out in his head I am sure. It's my DP that's more keen than i am, but i bet when i finally fall pregnant, he will have a wobble, i just know it! I think it's all perfectly normal? I'll have many wobbles!!

We were talking last night about cars, i refuse to drive a family type car Blush So we are both keeping our cars.

Seven0fNine · 19/01/2017 11:46

Haha we are getting a Ford bmax so it's not massive and I think it still looks cool. It's got slidey doors on the back which are meant to be great if you have kids.
I need a bigger car anyway for work as I'm a music teacher so constantly moving instruments around and my 3 door little car isn't cutting it any more!
Glad you are feeling less bloated Grumpy...after I first came off the pill after the decision (which was over many wines) to ttc, we hardly talked about it. Hence why I joined the forums. But now since looking after my little niece the other week it's all dh is talking about. Think they just need time to get used to the idea, definitely! Poor blokes!

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 19/01/2017 12:56

Grumpy that's amazing! I am far from goal! But only 3 pounds away from January goal if I break it up a little I guess!

We were chatting about cars this week too. DH keeps pointing out crappy little 'mum' cars and I told him to bugger off so now I am going to drive our one year old Ford Edge and he's going to get a new one for himself. I'm happy with that as I love our car 🚗

Redpony1 · 19/01/2017 14:10

Remember my swollen tongue allergy reaction last Thursday? I just had a Tesco spiralised salad and it's happened mildly again! I have compared the ingredients list and cannot find anything that could be the culprit Angry That's it though, no more shop-bought salads for me Hmm

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 19/01/2017 14:32

How weird red - maybe they put a weird preservative in them to keep them fresh. Hope it's not too bad!

MrsC2017 · 19/01/2017 15:51

Hi girls, weekend nearly here thank God!
confused sorry about the Bfn, enjoy the hairdresser and be nice to yourself over the weekend!
red oh God thats very strange, wonder what it is you are reacting to! Keep some antihistamines in your bag incase it's an allergy you have developed and can't pin point! You are doing so well on the dieting!

grumpy amazing well done you!!!
seven car shopping is always fun, I have a mom half keep half car but tbh we live rurally with bad roads so small or low cars don't survive in our parts! I would love slidey doors though!
My DH wants to form his own army I think, he'd love loads of children but he knows it's not realistic! And he's so easy going he's like 'whatever you want is fine'! Today I have started to relax about the whole thing and gonna adopt a what will be will be attitude.... At least that's today's plan, I'll prob be back to neurotic Nancy again tomorrow!

Redpony1 · 19/01/2017 15:58

seven i am currently on the 'what will be will be' stance, but i just know once AF finally arrives i will turn in to an obsessive TTC woman Grin

I put anti-histamine in my bag after last weeks reaction so i took them straight away. How funny if i am allergic to salads, will just have to live on Dorito's won't I Halo

Roll on the weekend, not much planned for me, but i am desperate for a lie in! (7am is a lie in for me)

Mummyme87 · 19/01/2017 16:00

We will get a new car in spring. Looking at a Volvo XC60...

MrsC2017 · 19/01/2017 16:04

Ha seven best diet excuse ever being allergic to salads!
mummy I would love a Volvo, might look at one next!

orangefolly · 19/01/2017 16:07

Just shared a train carriage with a toddler having a total screaming tantrum that just kept going on. Gave me a "oh god am I really up to this?" moment. Confused Do others get a bit of a wobble on their broodiness when they are around very naughty or upset kids sometimes?

confusedat23 · 19/01/2017 17:58

Ooo this car talk is fun! I have a year old Fiesta 5 door which me and DH have for another 2 years till i sell it back to get a Kuga... i wanted
One originally but we couldn't afford it and so we though the Fiesta will do for a single child family such as ourselves lol..

Oh no Red its funny what you find in these things!... DH is allergic to a pollen in fruit and there are so many random things he can't eat because it puffs him up!

Thanks Mrs i told DH about our non-baby sitch and i think he could sense i'd gotten my hopes up
So i have come home to a bubble bath with candles, a cup of tea and dinner ready to go when i am! I could get used to this! Lol

Awhh Red 7 is a lay in for me too! Thats what time i start work Sad.. what do you do?

Ooo Mummy i love a volvo! Very safe cars!

I get what you mean Orange... it's not that that i dread tbh it's when i see those winey mums like being hit by their toddlers and going in a winey voice "please DC stop that it hurts... pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaseeeee" i just don't want to be one of those mums!

Ski lesson tonight was much better - I managed to do a few turns around the cones and everything. Instructor reckons we need another beginner class before we can move up to intermediate so I'm happy with that.

Celebrated my going to Cheesecake Factory where I had a calorific salad 🥗 but managed to avoid the cheesecake!

Lots of annoying little kids about - very brattish behaviour (common in dubai) so when we see that DH and I give each other a look and tell the lie all would be parents tell "our kids will be different"! By the time we find out it will be too late haha

Wiggleyfingers · 19/01/2017 19:05

Orange I have more of a wobble when I come home from work and flop on the sofa! I always think "Wow! I couldn't do this if I was a mum!" Also, I can barely organise myself in the mornings. I leave at 7am so not too bad but I don't know how people can manage to dress/feed toddlers and themselves before going to work. Lazy Sunday mornings with DP I think I'll miss too.

But then those wobbles are far and few between to how often I get womb ache from broodiness!

confusedat23 · 19/01/2017 19:30

Erghh well AF is here in full force and a day early! So CD1 for me and i'm going to go crazy with the OPKs have a really chilled out cycle this time round! Grin

Theres me and DH also have those convos lol... who knows how good we will be at parenting though! Lol

Confused at least you can get some closure on this month. Enjoy relaxing (and the fact you have such a lovely DH! God I fancy a bubble bath now..) Bring on Feb!

Well done on the weight loss Red and Nick, you must feel great! I'm down 1lb this week too which I'm so pleased about especially as have all my normal pre-AF bloating so hope will be some extra loss when that is over and done with.

Orange - I have wobbles all the time when I see children being little horrors. Obviously our children will be different and will sit there reading Beatrix Potter and being delightful at all times Grin

I do have moments though, especially in the evenings when I'm relaxing with a glass of wine (not so much at the moment!) and watching tv. DH has loads of hobbies and we lead such a fantastically selfish life at the moment. Will be a massive adjustment for us. I hope we're ready.

MrsC2017 · 19/01/2017 20:23

I mostly get wobbles when I am really tired getting up and I'm like 'ugh this is what it's like with a baby 5 times a night' the rest I can deal with. DS is generally very good so I feel like all my kids will be angels! Bet I get a brat next!

Mummyme87 · 19/01/2017 21:07

My DS is hard work 😓 He only slept for 45mins at a time day or night until he was 1yr 😩 Can't believe I'm going for #2

MrsC2017 · 19/01/2017 21:08

Keep missing half the posts for some reason! theres well done on the skiing, sounds like lots of fun! No idea how you avoided cheesecake, there is not a lot I wouldn't do for cheese cake!
I ran out of OPKs but CM has made an appearance so I think something must be happening, better late than never I guess, of course was too wrecked to bd last night so better get on it tonight! I def started too earlyConfused

DancingUnicorn · 19/01/2017 22:03

Mrsc definitely a learning curve! I'm hoping the hard work tracking this month will make next month easier!! (It will, right?!)

I get wobbles all the time. Not even when there's naughty kids. I just wonder how I'll ever have time, with work. I know that I'll just adjust, because other people can do it so there's no reason I can't. But it's definitely tricky to imagine. Just have to remind ourselves that even if it's hard it will be totally worth it! I'm convinced of that. I may need to be reminded of this when I'm mega pregnant fat or throwing up every day!!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 20/01/2017 00:30

Just left a work do and working from home tomorrow in my PJs with cups of tea and warm blankets and my cats! Bliss! I think you appreciate the freedoms more when you know they won't be here forever.. but babies are only little for a very short time m.. can believe mine is almost 12 now Sad

TheGrumpySquirrel · 20/01/2017 00:31

Can't believe that should say! Bit tipsy!

Seven0fNine · 20/01/2017 07:57

Oooh Grumpy well jealous. I am working from home too but have to go teach first thing and then in the middle of the afternoon so no pj's and blankets... Can Deffo do the tea and the cat part tho!

The new car is lovely. Drove it home last night and it's so smooth and quiet compared to the last one. Looking forward to driving it this morning!

CD17 here. Gave up on the opks past few days so going to try again this afternoon. FX!
No running this week. Been too busy sorting car, will get back on it over the weekend!

TheresAlwaysTimeForTea · 20/01/2017 08:01

That's a very good point Grumpy about babies only being here for a short time and then hopefully it becomes easier (from a sleep perspective anyway) when they are older a little.

Any word from holly - how are you feeling? Any morning sickness?

Mummyme87 · 20/01/2017 08:38

Morning ladies!

Glad you like your new car seven I can't wait to get a new car.

I'm sounding like a man today. Taking the boy child to the childminder shortly for the day. I'm on a night shift tonight so need to rest after DS was up at 3 and in our bed constantly touching and stroking my arm 😫

CD19 and 5DPO. No symptoms of anything at all

buzzmoon · 20/01/2017 09:07

I really need a new car! Don't know how we are going to afford that too!

It's a really old Peugeot 206, and doesn't have those isofix points- stupid question but you can't get car seats without now can you? And would it be safe enough??
