Thread 24. TTC #1 - It's been a tough start to the year but 2017 is still the year of the BFP

Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

It's not been the best start of the year for most but we're still trying to keep it PMA

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We've ditched the Gregorian calendar in favour of the TTC Cycle Day calendar, and we don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

We have a new Grad's Thread. We recently lost a whole load of ttc veterans to the good side and we're absolutely desperate to join in the fun! May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Pyjamas - that is really interesting, it must be! The whole point of these advanced opks is to give you as much prewarning as possible. I can't quite believe how sudden it is.

I think I'll be testing on Wednesday. I think I ovulated on day 10 and have a roughly 12 day lp so expecting af/hoping for bfp ny then. Thank God I can't get to a boots before then to pick up a frer otherwise I'd definitely test tomorrow.

I have a FRER in the drawer right next to the loo so tempted to use it but I'm certain we missed out this month so there really is no point!!!

Only the type of yoghurt that's bad for you kwick (flavoured and filled with so much sugar it's barely even yoghurt anymore) - plain yoghurt makes me gag as well!

Hi Jam, thanks for the list! I tested yday 10dpo - nothing. Tested today - nothing. Will test again tomorrow, 12dpo. Cross your fingers and uncross your legs for me everyone. I'm feeling really quite nauseous this evening, but I'm thinking it might have something to do with a dodgy chicken burger I had earlier.

It's still very early Gaelach, FX your BFP is just taking a few days to show up :)

LSFX for some imminent BFPs-it feels like forever since the last!

My last cycle was 24 days and the one before that 27,and before that 33. So with that in mind I'm going to try and hold out until cd27, which is 9th Feb?
So, please can you put me down for then. I think I may have ov'd yestersay so 9th will be 12dpo x

Ladies... symptom spotting just got really real. I've had dull cramping all yesterday and today (could be anything), feel run down today like I'm getting sick. Getting ready for bed this evening, wiped, had a little dot of blood that doesn't look like I'd usually spot pre-AF, so I was like, whatever...
went to brush my teeth and spit a bunch of blood into the sink. I'm pretty good to my teeth, never usually get bleeding gums. Bleeding gums is a thing, right?

I looked at myself in the mirror and told myself to chill out, ha ha! FX...

12dpo, still negative. BUT... no AF yet!

Hi ladies, I'm back. Had a weekend away which was great but quite boozy

Dh wasn't with me and I ovulated on Friday so we dtd mon-thur using conceive plus and lying with legs in the air after haha!

So I'm now 3dpo and due next Friday, the 10th feel it will be a long tww.

The wait is killing me ladies! Hope everyone had a good weekend. Smitten I'm the same, I have what I genuinely feel are pregnancy symptoms, that I don't normally get. But at the same time I'm not expecting to be pregnant as it seems so unlikely.

The low down crampy feelings and the feeling of being 'moist' are the weirdest ones as I keep feeling like AF has arrived/is arriving. I've also got low level nausea/dizziness. On Saturday/Sunday morning I felt like I was coming down with lurgy, stuffy nose, sore throat, tired, headaches, but had all gone by yesterday evening. I'm going to buy some FRERs today, and test tomorrow morning I think. I'll be 11 DPO then, but only 1 day before AF is due so maybe not too early?

Gaelach how long is your LP normally (sorry if I missed it!)

Also, does anyone watch Call the Midwife? I love it!

I dropped my phone down the toilet yesterday and now it won't come on 😔 have had to download MN on DH work iPad haha. He's not impressed!

I feel the same as before. Very sore boobs, funny tummy, anxious, a bit cramps. Nothing out of the ordinary for 11 dpo. No testing, would rather see AF than BFN.

I just rang up to book my ovarian reserve test for next Thursday when AF should be in full flow so that's something to look forward to...

So impartial advice please. Yesterday morning, EWCM with a tiny splodge of dark red in it. This morning, went to the loo, wiped, sortof light pinkish on tissue, but not CM just watery as if my wee was pinky red. When I poke around up near my cervix I'm not really getting anything, maybe sometimes a bit of creamy CM tinged pink or tan. Could it be IB?

I'm going to look like such a nutcase when AF arrives this week, I just want you all to know that I know that.
